It's not dead to me. I still use it all the time.

People seem to get some sort of thrill over declaring things dead now. In the words of Taylor Swift, you need to calm down.

I don't get complaining about the price. I'm not going to pay it because I have no interest in these games but it is what it is.

People pay what they want for games and Square games go on sale quite a bit. It's worth it to some to pay the full price. I paid full price for FfVII and IX and X and XII and will for VIII as well probably.

Fans are willing to pay.

I'm completely ok with this. I don't want actual shovelware coming to my Switch.

His game looks bad to Nintendo. Nintendo didn't want it. It's their decision.

Played it on XOne and it sucks.

Give me FFXIV or even FFXI. Much better.

Last week there was no way at all for this to happen. Absolutely not. Now that it's happening, new holes have to be found.

I didn't like this game but it looked really good on the PS3 so I think it'll look fine on the Switch.

I don't understand the bellyaching about it not being remastered. The art style is such that it will likely end up looking almost the same anyway.

What I don't get is how the games being digital makes it a bad game? That seems like a really sad viewpoint considering that's what the future holds anyway.

Was already ready for people to whine about censorship. It's like you all want your freedom but you don't want any other person, developer or publisher to have theirs.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. You're free to play silly games about boobs and Sony is free to refuse to host them in their store. They don't owe you an explanation even though it's obvious why they did it.

It doesn't look as bad as these comments are making it out to. There's also way more to a game than graphics.

RDR2 had shrinking horse testicles and was still extremely boring. I'll wait and actually play the game before I make snap judgements.

More games is good. Back in time, we had way less choice and had to settle for what was released and available near us at stores.

But I guess nostalgia is a powerful drug.

Haven't finished it. It was one of those top rated and critically acclaimed games I bought on sale like RDR 2 and didn't care for.

If it comes to the Switch good for the Switch I guess?

I came for the meltdowns and was not disappointed.

I didn't play the game the first time and don't plan to now. I don't see the problem in ports.

@CaPPa I'll never understand the need to have more games downloaded than you could ever play no matter the console. I had to force myself to feel up my Switch with 64 GB or my Xbox tbh.

I could understand if like the online shops were closing soon but other than that I only pay at most a forth of the games I have installed between both systems.

@blockfight the PlayStation and Xbox come with sizeable hard drives so I laughed at this comment.

I do agree everyone with a Switch needs an SD card but I can easily fit over 20 games on my Xbox with no extra store thanks to it's TB internal included hard drive.

Wasn't interested in the game that much and now definitely not.

Having to grind isn't a bad thing. Having to grind a ridiculous amount of time just to avoid paying money is.

You guys know that's literally how it was on the Vita too? And all that other versions of the game too. Every version of the remaster has had the same menu to choose from FFX and X-2 so it really should have surprised no one.

Now other things they've done can be considered that I guess, but honestly most game companies do them now anyway.

A publisher or company choosing what you can host create or otherwise use their software for isn't censorship.

I find it funny that more people whine about things done to protect corporate branding than people actually calling for censorship of penis stages.

You could easily just pick one watch what you wanted on it then cancel and pick another.

@tobibra ok but if a publisher chooses not to release a game that's not censorship. It's a business decision and the reaction from others on here acting as though SJW get everything banned or censored are wrong because this game is getting released.

As far as the US goes, very few games have been banned here despite us being the so called "SJW" birthing country.

@tobibra I mean that's possible but so is what I said. Also isn't this game even more fan service than DOA. I played the 3DS ones and it seemed that way. Given the last DOA game I played was the one on the 360.

Wow, I guess this proves that Dead or Alive not releasing here was a marketing ploy to get you to import it at no additional cost for them for a NA release.

I was expecting more of how taking this nipple away is against the Constitution and was disappointed.

I'm way too lazy to dig my PS3 you and my Xbox doesn't get JRPG goodness, although if FF is successful on it maybe we finally will.

@rjejr FFX-2 is massively underrated. The job system was well implemented and the story was light and fun.

I'm getting the feeling you didn't like the female characters as every other game with a job system also involves the character changing clothes.

@Regpuppy it's not really changing the goal post though. It's pointing out that everyone is different by showing the difference of opinions about everything. Given the amount of responses I got from even suggesting that, I'm gonna assume everyone forgets their opinion isn't a be all end all.

You can even go to the review of that Modern Combat game for the Switch and see people saying it's great and people saying it's horrible. My point was that everyone just pretends the game was successful because people were tricked into it.

There are even people in these comments who enjoy the game and they too are having to explain that over and over again.

@Regpuppy as much as I appreciate you telling me what I meant relatedly in a rather combative way that's not what I meant at all.

My point was that you can't dismiss the sales or success of a game just because you want to or read things on the internet. Our fandom in particular loves to do this when it's games on another console that aren't on the Switch.

@Regpuppy I did no such thing. I pre-ordered Ultimate and enjoyed my time with it. If you read my comment and understood it, you would see I was saying that people can like what they want. You and others are claiming they were tricked by marketing and that's the only reason it sells and pointing out articles and critical reception as a sign of that.

@Spudtendo @Regpuppy @RupeeClock you can make excuses all you want though. I felt the same when RDR2 and still do even after buying and trying it. The controls were horrible, the story slow with no real choice and glitches galore but everyone loves it because it's "critically acclaimed".

I guess what I'm trying to say is just because critics and other people think something is good or bad doesn't mean others won't like it and buy it. I've seen nothing but negative coverage of it too and yet people are still buying it so if you're right and they can't use Google then they're just stupid or they must like it.

I love how negative everyone is about a game on different platform that has some issues.

SSBU had online issues at launch but no one goes around bringing that up. I have no desire to play Anthem but have friends who do nothing but talk about and to them the flaws add character. I don't get it but I also don't feel the need to be negative.

Well I still don't want it and the complaints about the previous article are hilarious.

You can't please everyone though and I'm happy for the people that enjoy these kinds of games.

@Scrummer there isn't a whole lot of crossover between what's on game pass and what's available on Switch as I have both. It also would allow both to make money they weren't making before for little to no investment as Microsoft is already working on streaming and Nintendo doesn't have access to all the games.

It makes a lot of sense when there's really nothing to lose.

I want more card games so I hope it's good.

It's a great game and the bugs aren't nearly as huge as the internet and other people are making them.

I don't see why people take offense to another console's game doing well. Seems silly to me.
