Robobot is fantastic so I hope they maintain the quality for this title (even though I would prefer switch).
Multiplayer action fighting game is such a hard thing to nail down but if I had to guess maybe its a traditional kirby arena but heavily expanded, or possibly even turnbased fighting.
Not gonna lie that kinda doesn't matter, I mean who has over 3 hours of mario kart.
Problem is the other multiplayer games will be cut short because of this power beast and that stinks. And right as I was getting hopeful for full LAN sessions :/
@gatorboi352 Didn't realize they got rid of the rule (as NF6429 informed me). I don't have an xbox one but my friend does and the only indie game I saw him download was old 360 compatible ones so that also misled me.
I remember early in the life span of the xbone they had some really weird agreement where they had to be exclusive or something like that. Playstation is better but I would argue nintendo has always been above the others (except pc) in indie titles.
I much prefer this type of kickstarter where a good portion of the game is already done but extra money would be nice for more platforms/bonuses.
Although while the game looks nice I wonder how much of the old game will be inside it? I expect difficulty to be reduced after all it is made for a little girl.
I expected it, seems like the only way they could have more than the original row. Wish the squares were a little smaller on both menus tho or at least an option.
Little upset by the load times of cartridges :/ So many people complimented the idea of cartridges instead of discs but I don't see any benefits so far.
Little infernos good but little gameplay, World of goo seems to be the most famous of the trio but I didn't like it, and have never played human resource machine. Guess im only buying the last one because without the touch screen of the gamepad in console mode inferno may be underwhelming.
@David_Dudeney No mean to call into question your reviewing style, after all the article was laid out fine and written nicely. Good to know that you were contemplating a higher score as well. To me at least it didn't seem like there were any real annoyances to pull down the overall package. Compared for example to punch club the review before which had stat decay but still the same score.
Maybe it was more in the choice of the reviewer. No I'm not trying to be rude and understand that different views are needed for reviews to fair. Although in the case of these relaxing simulation games a certain mindset seems to be needed in order to enjoy the game unlike other genres.
Again I am not criticizing your review as it was sound and made me understand the game well, and yes I know I cant expect of a certain reviewer mindset (plus the Nintendo Life team is always busy which I appreciate). Maybe next time a game comes up like this someone else who've had experience/enjoys the genre should take up the review instead
Sorry for the ramble just my thoughts and I hope I didn't offend.
Seems a little unfair to me honestly even though I haven't played it yet. The negative that is obvious to me is the content. However for this type of game I think its fine as its a simple garden grower and not much more, but that also means a more direct focus.
As for the price the fact that you said five bucks is steep is a bit of an over exaggeration. Sure its free on phones and cheaper on the PC but I'm sure the developers thought of that and decided cross-buy would be a possible incentive over the other versions (compared to other mobile ports its still an improvement). Even if its not enough an incentive to singular device owners maybe they just prefer playing it on the 3ds/WiiU.
Other than that the three tracks running for twenty minutes is fine (cat goes fishing is a good example of that) and receptivity is a element that's hard to avoid in games like this. It just doesn't seem like enough complaints to warrant a six at least in my eyes.
Happy for boxboy its something that's perfect for development in between the bigger titles like Kirby. Sure its not an over designed game but fun for what it is and deserves its success.
Well sleeping on the streets in Manhattan seems common if you're walking through times square, but I'm not sure people would be okay with that in Rockefeller Center.
I remember the times I stood in line in the cold for Platinum, the Wii U, and a anniversary Pokemon event my sister wanted to go to.
Out of all of them the Pokemon one was the worst the line stretched around the block and had barely any children in it. The event wasn't much better with short ads and terrible giveaways. Heres hoping the switch event will be better (and warmer thank god for its march release).
@Tempestryke Game is fine but the toys are garbage. If past toys are incompatable with the new one then whats the point. Yeah I know its only on the switch version but still.
I said to myself if the switch couldnt read amiibos then I wasnt buying it, not because I love amiibos but because I would be livid to find out all of them were waste.
@HSuzumiyaVI Oh no, you misunderstood. Indie games are essential to the library and without them the console still may be successful but in my eyes it would be worse than the Wii U.
Although don't forget that some of these games and publishers could be untested or be a RCMADIX or maybe a letter.
Well if the system came with a mic then this would be terrible, but without a mic I think this is...okay? I mean its easier than some online games like CSGO where a third of the people have no mic whatsoever compared to smartphones that many people have.
Not nearly as good as the other consoles but still alright in some ways.
@LegendOfPokemon I would hope so. I remember there being an announcement for a stream on the anniversary and then... nothing. I just hope its not a rainbow curse sequel or worse a mass attack sequel
@AlexSora89 Its actually almost a conspiracy with how much you can dig up. I swear the libraries of the wii u and 3ds are so incestous... Sometimes its not even confined to their own libraries like sticker star to 8colour splash or 3d land to 3d world albiet with a little more effort.
However lazy I'm hoping for more of those marketing decisions for 3ds to switch because back then playing an actual animal crossing or an actual kirby on the Wii U would've been sweet.
@NEStalgia Maybe if the graphics were a little bit improved, like country returns to tropical freeze, but in general its not enchanced much if at all. Not saying western developers are much different (except bethesda bless their innocent soul) but its still something that irks me.
On the plus side it does make me come back to the game more but im sure Nintendo doesnt really care if im on my 3rd playthrough of triple deluxe or not
@AlexSora89 sorry for the late reply but I agree, together the two would be the best kirby experience to date. But Nintendo seems to have a new buisness strategy for their high profile series. Releaseing one game to make the basic engine and then making a easy to produce sequel using the same engine.
Dont believe me? Ask Fire emblem awakening to fates, New super mario bros u to luigi u, New leaf to HHD, Dream team to Paper Jam, Nes Remix to remix 2, even 3D World to Treasure Tracker.
Now with the nintendo switch we actually have the same game (Mario Kart) and splatoon 2 which looks almost identical.
In general its probably a good marketing idea but damn does it feel lazy.

Please just give me the kirby merch, I barely have any to begin with ;(
Re: Your Classic Splatoon amiibo Will be Supported in Splatoon 2
Im pretty sure they said that in the direct... at least in the NA direct.
I have the original trio but really dont see myself buying more amiibo.
Re: Feature: 30 Games We Might Get On The SNES Mini Classic Edition
@Spoony character from Yokai Watch called CheekSqueak (not entirely sure thats how you spell that), a game that I felt was underrated.
Closest you can get to having a butt on this website I would imagine.
Re: Feature: 30 Games We Might Get On The SNES Mini Classic Edition
Super metroid is enough to justify a purchase, along with earthbound.
Ive been thinking about showing these gems to my new age millenial friends

Long live the kirb <( ' v ' )>

Re: Nintendo Has Discontinued The NES Classic Edition in North America
Excuse me?
The only good thing possible to take from this is that the virtual console is coming but what in the hell!
I havent even come close to getting one!
Re: Poll: What Wii U Ports Would You Like to Play on Nintendo Switch?
Preferably as little as possible but Smash and Donkey Kong would be great as both are great multiplayer games so its a good fit.
Re: My Nintendo Offers Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia Wallpaper in North America
Its a good wallpaper but its not like I care... my friend has a my nintendo bot and buys stuff for me but in reality its pretty useless lol

Re: Review: Graceful Explosion Machine (Switch eShop)
Suprised at the high score
Going back and reading the review now looks like a pure fun game, and I like that.
Re: Interview: The Story of Snake Pass' Origin from Creator Seb Liese
I know the game is worth it on its own merits, but when compared to the gameplay I've had of yooka laylee... lets just say im glad this exists.
Re: Miitomo Celebrates Its One Year Anniversary With Various Promotions and Giveaways
Instead of the Fire Emblem april fools I'd much rather get a Miitomo sequel joke.
Then again the original was a joke enough.
Re: Snake Pass Update Improves Rumble on Nintendo Switch
Im buying it in April because spending 500+ bucks on video games in a single month is a little over kill.
My bank account is crying.

@Amsterdamsters Thanks, the little information I had on it compared to the other two games (which I liked) worried me. Happy to hear its fun.
Re: Has-Been Heroes Now Arriving in Europe on 4th April
Trine was a much better game but honestly am happy theres a physical. May be the only reason I buy lol
Re: Review: Waku Waku 7 (Switch eShop / Neo Geo)
Neo Geo games are nice but I would like to know some opinions about Human Resource Machine if you could.
Re: Seiken Densetsu Collection Announced For Nintendo Switch
Huh that asking price is a bit much if its not on cartridge... 4,600 yen is quite a lot conversion wise.

Splattershot Jr. for life!

WOOT WOOT looks really good and much less basic than the original which while fun brought nothing new to the table.
Re: Poll: Does Nintendo Switch Need Streaming Apps and a Web Browser, Or Is It All About Games?
Its a bit annoying since I have to keep my Wii U hooked up to my tv...
Honestly it would affect the PC/Nintendo gamer who only needs his Nintendo and his PC but its not an immediate flaw.

Garbage!

Hmm does publishers include self publishing indie games? If so then thats nowhere near as impressive as Nintendo struts it to be :/

Sad that robobot a great game still sold less than an old repetitive series (X & Y, ORAS).
Speaks words about pokemon's sales potential and pokemon go's hype.
On the other side I hope they make a full blown new engine (Maybe 3D?) on kirby switch. So far its sequels have been half assed imo.
