Re: Satoshi Ishida Hints at the Upcoming Kirby Multiplayer Game

Robobot is fantastic so I hope they maintain the quality for this title (even though I would prefer switch).

Multiplayer action fighting game is such a hard thing to nail down but if I had to guess maybe its a traditional kirby arena but heavily expanded, or possibly even turnbased fighting.

Long live the kirb <( ' v ' )>

@David_Dudeney No mean to call into question your reviewing style, after all the article was laid out fine and written nicely. Good to know that you were contemplating a higher score as well. To me at least it didn't seem like there were any real annoyances to pull down the overall package. Compared for example to punch club the review before which had stat decay but still the same score.

Maybe it was more in the choice of the reviewer. No I'm not trying to be rude and understand that different views are needed for reviews to fair. Although in the case of these relaxing simulation games a certain mindset seems to be needed in order to enjoy the game unlike other genres.

Again I am not criticizing your review as it was sound and made me understand the game well, and yes I know I cant expect of a certain reviewer mindset (plus the Nintendo Life team is always busy which I appreciate). Maybe next time a game comes up like this someone else who've had experience/enjoys the genre should take up the review instead

Sorry for the ramble just my thoughts and I hope I didn't offend.

Seems a little unfair to me honestly even though I haven't played it yet. The negative that is obvious to me is the content. However for this type of game I think its fine as its a simple garden grower and not much more, but that also means a more direct focus.

As for the price the fact that you said five bucks is steep is a bit of an over exaggeration. Sure its free on phones and cheaper on the PC but I'm sure the developers thought of that and decided cross-buy would be a possible incentive over the other versions (compared to other mobile ports its still an improvement). Even if its not enough an incentive to singular device owners maybe they just prefer playing it on the 3ds/WiiU.

Other than that the three tracks running for twenty minutes is fine (cat goes fishing is a good example of that) and receptivity is a element that's hard to avoid in games like this. It just doesn't seem like enough complaints to warrant a six at least in my eyes.

Re: Isaiah TriForce Johnson and Captain Nintendo Dude Get in Line for the Nintendo Switch Launch

Well sleeping on the streets in Manhattan seems common if you're walking through times square, but I'm not sure people would be okay with that in Rockefeller Center.

I remember the times I stood in line in the cold for Platinum, the Wii U, and a anniversary Pokemon event my sister wanted to go to.

Out of all of them the Pokemon one was the worst the line stretched around the block and had barely any children in it. The event wasn't much better with short ads and terrible giveaways. Heres hoping the switch event will be better (and warmer thank god for its march release).

@LegendOfPokemon I would hope so. I remember there being an announcement for a stream on the anniversary and then... nothing. I just hope its not a rainbow curse sequel or worse a mass attack sequel

@AlexSora89 Its actually almost a conspiracy with how much you can dig up. I swear the libraries of the wii u and 3ds are so incestous... Sometimes its not even confined to their own libraries like sticker star to 8colour splash or 3d land to 3d world albiet with a little more effort.

However lazy I'm hoping for more of those marketing decisions for 3ds to switch because back then playing an actual animal crossing or an actual kirby on the Wii U would've been sweet.

@NEStalgia Maybe if the graphics were a little bit improved, like country returns to tropical freeze, but in general its not enchanced much if at all. Not saying western developers are much different (except bethesda bless their innocent soul) but its still something that irks me.

On the plus side it does make me come back to the game more but im sure Nintendo doesnt really care if im on my 3rd playthrough of triple deluxe or not

Re: Feature: The Rollercoaster Ride of Nintendo's Financial Reports

@AlexSora89 sorry for the late reply but I agree, together the two would be the best kirby experience to date. But Nintendo seems to have a new buisness strategy for their high profile series. Releaseing one game to make the basic engine and then making a easy to produce sequel using the same engine.

Dont believe me? Ask Fire emblem awakening to fates, New super mario bros u to luigi u, New leaf to HHD, Dream team to Paper Jam, Nes Remix to remix 2, even 3D World to Treasure Tracker.

Now with the nintendo switch we actually have the same game (Mario Kart) and splatoon 2 which looks almost identical.

In general its probably a good marketing idea but damn does it feel lazy.
