When Nintendo unveiled its Nindie showcase shortly before launch it opened the broadcast with SteamWorld Dig 2 by Image & Form, with the Swedish studio announcing the sequel to its significant breakout hit. It certainly looked rather promising:
After appearing at the industry GDC event, the company has now confirmed the game's first 'public' demo later this week. There'll be an Image & Form booth at PAX East in Boston, which is running from 10th to 12th March.
We'll be showing the first, public demo of SteamWorld Dig 2 on Nintendo Switch at PAX East (March 10-12, Boston, MA).

This is a rare chance to play SteamWorld Dig 2 on Nintendo Switch ahead of launch later this summer. Make sure to stop by and play. We've got a special demo version running beautifully on multiple stations and lots of SWD2 swag to hand out. To find us, just look for the SWD2 banners in the lobby or locate booth number #11194.
Are any of you heading to PAX East and planning to hunt down the Summer Switch release?

Image & Form are the best and I am looking forward to getting back into the SeamWorld Dig universe!
Interesting game .... on Android Phone ..
Switch needs better.
Aw free loot now I wish I had a ticket ;(
I did enjoy Steamworld Dig, but they better be ready to pull out a bunch of new ideas for me to be particularly interested in a sequel.
I just finished SteamWorld Dig on the 3DS... if you haven't played it, it's worth a shot. Dig Dug meets Metroid 😅... Boss battles would be a nice addition to #2 🤞
@anobleSPPS it's really fun. Like a combo of metroid and dig dug by way of boulder dash
I didn't finish it - got too hard but I've replayed a few times. Going to look good on the switch
