With only a few days before the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire, Nintendo of Japan's YouTube channel has uploaded four videos showcasing the weapons you will have at your disposal during the event. The weapons spotlighted in the trailers include "remixed" versions of returning weapons such as the Splat Charger and Splat Roller, along with the new Splat Dualies.
You can watch the videos below:
Splat Dualies
Splat Charger
Splat Roller
Splat Blaster
Taking place from 24th to 26th March, the demo will give players a chance to try out the squid sequel before it releases later this year.
Will you be joining in?

Splattershot Jr. for life!
Never played the original, but might give the new one a go.
Can't wait for this game ☺
Will be joining!
Splat Charger looking real nice with that mobile shot... looking forward the most to trying that one.
Joyous rapture!!! Inking madness is setting in for this squid kid.
I'm just love that little side jump. Anyone know if it's just the dualies that get that move?
I hope the final game allows changing gear between matches...
Gotta do the test fire in handheld or tabletop mode because my Switch can't connect to the Internet when docked. It seems like a legitimate technical issue but I'm delaying calling them about it because I know I'll have to send it in and I'm still playing Zelda.
You guys'll definitely see me online playing this. Got a friend coming over to see my Switch so this is definitely setting itself up to be a great day.
Yay can't wait to play this for one hour at a time. Thanks Nintendo...
@dew12333 The rolling mechanic? Yeah it's just the dualies that get it. Every class gets its own little thing to make it standout. The dualies need the extra movement to make up for the limited range/spread.
This otta be good for those complaining about wifi issues
@Bunkerneath me too
Roller looks meaner than ever.
I like the Dualies and the Splat Charger which reminds me of a sniper, didn't buy the original but i'll probably pick-up Splatoon 2 seeing as the original was well received.
Dualies look must-have.
Any word yet on this game's single-player campaign, or bot team mates for offline battles?
@sinalefa I know right! I will need to practice to achieve that level of skill.
I'll be trying this out in both handheld and console modes during the various testfire times.
I'm gonna try out the Splat Dualies
@banacheck Splatoon is the only game on the Wii U that I am addicted to and can play everyday and never get bored. Such an amazing game!
The dual pistol weapon and how it works reminds me of Tracer a little bit.
Where is my trusty Aerosprayer?!? LOL.
@invictus4000 is your lan adapter compatible? I have ugreen adapter from Amazon and works great.
Shame there's no single player story. I get bored of multiplayer pretty quick.
Happy to see that the Splat Charger uses up a ton of ink, has a recharge delay and can't recharge ink while a charge shot is held. I was really worried about them being overpowered with the ability to hold shots since they were already among the best weapons without that, but it looks like they're balancing out new strengths with added weaknesses.
Anyway, I'll probably be using the roller for this event, but I look forward to seeing the successor to my trusty Jet Squelcher.
Looks to me like the Splat Dualies are closest to the Aerospray; the weapon I normally use for Turf these days. I used to swear by the roller though, and will certainly be giving that a try during the Testfire!
Dualies allow dodge roll - pretty op
Charger allows squid movement when charged - super op
Roller allows vertical slash - really op
Blaster offers no change - trash
I now wonder what the slosh bucket and Gatling will offer
NO BUCKET!!!!! DAMMIT!!!!
I'll be there, if I get the switch before it's over..
its only 25th and 26th in aus / nz
still totally HYPED!!!
