Earlier this week Nintendo's social media team rather oddly got involved in a bit of 'bantz' with a Vermont farm about milking cows and 1-2-Switch. You know, a normal way to pass a Friday afternoon.
It was clearly all carefully orchestrated, as Nintendo has now shared images and videos from the real-life challenge between dairy farmers at Billings Farm & Museum and a couple of Nintendo staffers. So, yeah...

We're not sure what else to say.

Well they picked a good state for it... Vermont is nothing but farms lol
Eh, what ?!
Looks like Nintendo sent those farmers on their...

Milky way.
How the heck did they not take advantage of the Switch's "Play anywhere" concept. It should have been a table and the Switch that's it.
haha "Milky way" hahahaha
Thanks. I enjoyed that.
@Eddyson I try :3
@Kalmaro YEAH!
Sorry I had to. Anyway, good but silly PR Nintendo! Likely to combat all the idiots that had their minds in the gutter over the game...I don't understand the reference that somehow makes this minigame naughty but I'll keep my innocence and just play games.
"We heard it on the bovine"
That made me laugh.
So, does this take the cheesecake for ''weirdest PR move''?
Quite interesting that Nintendo would steer attention to this crazy occasion! Here's to hoping that Nintendo will be Holstein another PR event! Maybe it'll be in Jersey next time?
...Okay, I'll stop with the bad puns now. Moooving on....
@Tyranexx That NES controller winter hat though. It must be Friesian out there I'm starting to like 1,2 Switch, maybe I should give it an udder chance
they should've had bernie there lol
Ha ha, leave it to my state to do this with all the farms around here.
That's a cute way to get some nice PR.
What's actually weird is how you all think it's normal to drink another animal's milk.
Disgusting, is what it is.
Ah, I'm glad people throw out puns like I do. It does me heart
@Moon Lol
@Moon Please, share more of your wisdom about the ways in which you live so much better than the rest of us.
One of the more down to earth PR events in recent memory. It's awesome to see Nintendo doing stuff like this. I'd love to put my programming skills to use with them one of these days. A guy can dream huh?
@Moon so you don't like ice cream?
@Moon I got your back. Milk is for babies.
How a-MOO-sing!
Seriously though... yay?
No, no, Nintendo! We said, take the bull by the horns!
@Moon
Tastes great to me!
@manu0 Two Bernie references on Nintendo Life, one of which was in a review, in one day? That's a new and probably very obscure record.
Quirky, weird, entertaining. What else can we expect from Nintendo?
Udder madness! Now you know why cows are horny.
1-2 Switch! It teaches eye contact to every socially awkward person!
That's good old nintendo!
@Moon Yeah, let's just never use a door ever again because we had to kill a tree for it. Or never take a shower because we are wasting valuable water from the ocean. We are horrible creatures!
HEY!!! Humans rule the Earth and we can do whatever we want. That is until the Spiders take over by eating us all
@Nintendoforlife A missed opportunity is what this is. It's still some pretty good PR though
It's cool that they got to do that. It's interesting to explore the world and learn about the lifestyles of other people. Milk is still a very valid commodity in the modern world, and I don't see that changing any time soon.
Getting to partake in something as trivial as milking is still an honor of an opportunity, especially in an era where people have grown disconnected with nature and the culture of their ancestors.
Tagged with "cows"; well played NL, well played.
Can't watch videos. Who won?
