They're not fixing the battle mode. It would be a mess to just replace a major feature like that. Just like they won't fix the item balance or acceleration tiers and all the other crap. They need to save some stuff for MK9.

I hope that the 3DS gets some sort of companion game, the way the Sonic games do it. That way I could get it for 3DS and a console and be able to play both.

It's an engine made for easy porting between systems. It opens the gate for this game to easily be on any platform with Unity.

It would be better to market the overseas version as "two games in one" or something, and not have any of this crap. They still need to grow Fire Emblem's popularity in places other than Japan before they can exploit it. I was considering buying this game, but I'm not too interested in buying half of it. (Unless they make it $20, then I'm totally cool with it.)

I was joking. The main point is that most people buy into the numbers without knowing what they even mean. That said, it isn't just black and white with these things, and most news sources (who I swear are going way too pro-Sony lately) aren't helping. The Xbox One has some odd technological advantages, but they're only really used by exclusives. The Xbox One's advantages have more to do with the types of games they can create on it, while the PS4 just has what most of the time equates to slightly better resolutions. I have a better trained eye than most people and I really think that, although there is a visible difference, 720p is good enough. Not that it matters with what I like to play. The PS4 is currently running Mario Kart and Dead Rising 3 at 0p and 0FPS.

Lulz, Wii U has 60 FPS while the other systems don't. Nintendo could just advertise that and all the elitists will flock to them instead of Sony.

I bet this will be on the news. It'll be like the Manhunt 2 incident.

Yeah, that stuff doesn't really happen. Any hint of it gets front page in the news, giving the illusion that it's all over the place. If anything, I'd say the common people are quite discriminated against these days. If Assassin's Creed Unity had four black lesbians, there would be no complaints from the media. It would be how they praise the rumor of the all-female Ghostbusters movie, calling it "progressive" and "revolutionary". But if the opposite happened, people would be quite outraged, like with that Last Airbender movie.

I think esports are great and all, but most are very boring to watch... not unlike physical sports.

LOL, does anyone here know what an SD card is? They're all the same! Everything except SDXC works (even XC works if it's FAT 32, but FAT 32 can't have files more than 4 GB, so some games could potentially have problems).

Given all the Third party Virtual Console games, I'd say they're coming.

The artificial enjoyment in unlocking all the characters isn't what it used to be. When I already know all the characters on the roster, I just want to play as all of them.
