Did this get the 3D patch? I can see it was planned but not sure if it has been added yet.

Thanks for that. I guess it makes sense, its good they are making the effort for New 3DS as there aren't many exclusives for it. I might check it out in the future, I am new to Kirby and still have Triple Deluxe to try. I know I am a bit late ha

I am happy with the rewards, but then again I don't have a Switch. Had a few free games for my Wii U / 3DS so far. Thanks Ninty!

Its crazy that it has no 3D effect, definitely a no buy for me too - unless its dirt cheap somewhere in the future or something.

@Bunkerneath Seems crazy to me too, but guess they are going for a younger market for these. 3D effect is great on some games, I never get bored of it.

Only 2DS XL? Good job I got two 3DS XL for spares, seems Ninty has killed them off now.

stoked for this, and they are adding 3D effect so props to Grezzo for that! I don't get the hate, loads of people are enjoying 3DS still, get over it.

As a 3DS and Wii U owner, its been okay for me. I can see why Switch owners might not like it so much.

Still watch Netflix on Wii U, perhaps just security stuff update - oh well

Shame they aren't doing a bit more with it, still use mine daily. I even bought 3 spare as I have no intention to get rid of them, and the amount of great games for it is crazy!

@RootsGenoa Shame about that. I read it does have 3D effect, but I guess they made some effort compared to a few 3DS games who didn't add 3D. Though I still have to play the others to see what they are like lol.

Xenoblade was one of my favourites on Wii, this looks amazing too.

Its perhaps due to hackers its like this, but ironic as I have to hack my Wii U now to backup saves - the very thing they are trying to stop. If that even works. I also did the same with Wii, but I have never got to the point of pirating or grabbing free games.

Its not such a bad thing, I still have my Wii, and to be honest after owning a couple of Just Dance for Wii U, there isn't that massive a difference aside from graphics and online options. I probably would go for Wii version if it was cheaper. I am not a casual, just sometimes a laugh to dance like an idiot with a bunch of friends lol.

Very sad but guess its to be expected. More reason to pick up some Selects games and others. The only reason I got 3DS was for the 3D and it never was a gimmick for me - maybe on or two games were not brilliantly done. If it wasn't for the 3D I would have stopped at the DS for sure, I wanted something a little bit different and am still not disappointed with it. Shame the latest Layton game is not 3D though.

@Jumpman I am tempted to rebuy it, should have kept it. The sweet spot thing with 3D was an issue, but definitely would be sorted on a New 3DS.

there are some gems on there, it is sad but kind of predictable. I still have a few Wii Ware games to go through. Bit hard to back up, all I ended up doing was transferring to Wii U, and have a spare to back up / transfer to when that one seems a bit twitchy.

@90sRetroGaming I don't have a Switch yet, but this might tempt me. That and LA Noire coming out too. Shame about no 3D, I have to admit I am a bit of a 3D nut lol.

I can agree with that, seems a little crazy. It usually forces me to spend them on 3DS themes, which I don't mind. But gold coins are annoying when they expire for sure.

I must be the only person who likes the new reward scheme. The only bad thing is the coins for discounts - but a few have been worth doing for games that don't go on sale ever.

Two games I haven't got, thanks Nintendo! Its becoming a nice rewards scheme, must have had two dozen 3DS themes so far too.

Bang on right there, and I agree with the pricing issue between the two.
I have no plans to get a Switch, keep the 3DS games coming, I will still buy them as long as they are bringing them out. Its smart business from Nintendo, keep the masses happy, the Switch has years to go yet anyway. If there is no demand, then there would be no more 3DS games planned. Selfish as I sounds, I am happy - though maybe not my bank account ha

I am so fricking SICK of people moaning about it being on the 3DS. Get over it! The Switch is doing MORE than okay, its okay to have more than one console you know? And its not as if the 3DS has a half-baked library of games to dip into.

I don't care if its seven years old, its hands down the best handheld I have had. I love the 3D aspect so I am glad they stuck with that in this game. Bring out more 3DS games, I will buy them if they are worth getting - simples. Props to Nintendo!!!

Maybe I am being thick lol. I don't have switch, but apparently you can use Paypal on browser version of eshop? But I went to settings, I can see 'shop menu' setting mentioning Paypal. But you can't edit. I guess you can't buy £20 of credit unless you have Switch?

EDIT: I think only you can buy games with Paypal if you don't have enough credit already, and not add funds on eshop via the browser.

I think SD card saves would be great that you could transfer, which should have been there on wii u. Guess the hackers spoilt this for the rest of us.

I know it will be great game, I have all the Layton games so far. I just enjoy the 3D effect, its the mean reason I got 3DS when it came out. If the other Layton games on 3DS didn't have it, I probably would have a different attitude. It might be I pick this up at some point, but maybe after a long time and when I have nothing else to play - which might be a long time as I have such a backlog of games to go through :-/

Its not strange at all. I have the other Layon 3DS games, the 3D effect is great and I wanted a similar experience. No excuse for them not to add it, some smaller developers add it into their games for the system.
