in europe its not been so bad if you are a 3ds owner.........and like themes mainly I guess.

Will have to replay this soon, its a great game

@dizzy_boy Ouch! I think repairs would be a lot for sure. Thanks for the tip regarding taking note of number by the way - will do that if I ever need to send anything in.

Not for me, its definitely a downgrade in my eyes as I dig the 3D effect. Its good for those don't want it, and its cheaper I guess.

Can you send it to Nintendo for repair? No idea how good they are at repairs, heard you lose all your data and games - which is bad

Already have them all but its a good idea to start doing them. Hope the next batch will have some I don't have .

@Late Just finished Super Acorns last night then these offers come up lol. Its an okay game if you like platformers. Some time trials and rewards, and a Turbo mode which might be tricky.

I liked original too, def worth a play. Grenades are a bit awkward though, the only minor gripe.

Still using Wii U and so are my friends. Hope they keep the online and eshop for a couple of years at least - still buying games from there.

Maybe I should softmod my Wii U before doing this update? No I don't use pirate games, just backups from Wii softmod.

I read the article, it was interesting, and a nice insight into the industry. But FFS what a pathetic world where guys can't make comments like this, because the photos are definitely provocative and it wouldn't have garnered any comments like this otherwise. If you don't want to unleash the horndogs, use sensible photos! Its clickbait for some, it made me read the article - and yes, 'I would' for sure / tap that too

I agree with you, and perhaps I am a little biased as I don't have a Switch but still find there is more than enough games on 3DS to get still. And still have Wii U. Plus I am happy with the graphics and 3D for games that use it. Everyone is different I guess, but I know nothing lasts for ever. Am sure there are a lot of games that could be ported over eventually, but so many to choose from lol.

@Beau_Skunk No you are not the only one 3D effect is still the best thing about it for me.

Hope the 3DS lasts as long as possible, Switch is doing fine right now so whats the problem.

this might make me get a Switch in the future. Though can't see how it is a good thing for the console, other than letting me get through my Steam backlog!

Nice to know the 3D effect is great, glad not all games are ignoring the 3D slider nowadays. Strange they are going for this unbreakable weapon system again though......

don't kill the 3DS yet! it would be crazy of Nintendo to do so right now, plus I still plan to keep using it and buying games for it for a long time to come, and imagine many others do to. Not interested in Switch at all right now.
2DS XL doesn't appeal to me though, prefer to play with 3D so will no doubt pick up a 3DS XL as backup soon.

I am new to Etrian Odyssey so this might be a nice way to check it out.

I must be one of the few people who prefer to turn the 3D on?! Never found it gimmicky at all, but I can see some people will dig this 2DS model.

I don't get all the 3DS must die stuff. I hope it keeps going for a while longer, best handheld ever for me.

You are right, but where are the New 3DS games they talked about? Only a few, and this new 2DS would make you think they are going to put a few more exclusives out.

I think they should keep 3DS going as long as they can. Especially if they can make more use of the New 3DS extra power that it has. There are tons more games I would get for it if I had the time and money

Since getting the 3DS not long after it came out, I have never been bored of 3D since, and I still dig it now. Its the best handheld I have owned hands down .

starting to miss Club Nintendo too! They did mario kart DLC for coins, that was the one I would have got had I not already bought it. And the pikmin one. I don't think I will ever use these coins before they expire lol!

Have a new 3DS but would like new 3DS XL sometime in the future. Is there going to be any more games and apps that take advantage of the New 3DS? That would help lifespan, and also make me get a 3DS XL much quicker. Perhaps it will go the way of the DSi instead :-/

What?? I thought all online Wii games were stopped? damn! I did try them after the shutdown and they didn't work, so I thought it was all part of the same thing.
