Hatch Tales kickstarter backer code came this morning, so I’ve giving that a go. Mostly just shocked it’s actually here.

played a lot of Qix on the Gameboy... been a while.

Played through it on Xbox as it was released on Game Pass... only started playing planning to take a quick look and see what it was about. Ended up playing through the whole game in one sitting, and got all the achievements in a second play session. Its a surprisingly relaxing experience. highly recommend.

Played thousands of hours of Quake when I was in jr high school. LOVE this game. Had a blast playing thought all the original episodes this weekend, can't wait to look at the new content!

I played a few minutes of BotW in table top the first week the Switch was out, just for the novelty of it, and a few rounds of Mario Kart with my kids while waiting somewhere, and that's really about it. I don't really consider table top mode 'a thing', and and extra inch of screen space doesn't change that.

let's call it like it is... the video game community is beyond toxic and probably shouldn't have a chance to speak at all. User reviews, for video games, is a terrible idea.

I wouldn't be too fussed as long as it contained Sunshine. That's the only Mario game I don't currently have a way to play via either original hardware, re-releases, or Virtual Console.

Ideally, I'd hope for 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy 1&2 in one collection, the New games released in an HD collection, and give 3D World a Deluxe edition. .... And while we're at it, all the GameBoy games in a collection... With the option to switch between original style and updated, coloured graphics. Just give me everything, I want it all.

I've had this one on my Steam list for a while... I'll probably end up getting it on Switch instead. It'll cost double, but I'll actually finish it there.

It's Diablo Jr with a Minecraft skin over top. I probably wouldn't play it by myself, but co-op with my 7 and 10year olds is a blast. If you have a couple of kids to play with, I'd say go for it.

I've been really enjoying it. Kinda wish Metalhead would take a crack at making Super Mega Hockey... Switch needs a decent hockey game.

Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii U VC

Plugged my Wii U back in for the first time since the Switch launch today... Gonna run through some old Mario games with my kids. Gonna play Mario Galaxy, Galaxy 2, Mario 64, Paper Mario 64, NSMB Wii... I'm calling it history class, and it's part of my home schooling curriculum.

Animal Crossing and DOOM 64.

I had never realized back in the 64 days that DOOM 64 was an original game, I always thought it was just a port of DOOM. Going back to replay the original DOOM games on switch was great, but having a "new" classic DOOM game to play is amazing

Buying Animal Crossing gave me enough gold coins to pick this up for free. It's a good day to be quarantined....

giving Days Gone a try on PS4. Really good game, but I feel like a caveman, tied to my TV like this. Given the opportunity to take a 50% graphical downgrade so I could undock this game... I'd be all over that.

Been craving a good twin stick shooter lately, something along the lines of Dead Nation.
Started playing Tesla vs Lovecraft last night. It's scratching the itch so far

I mean, i do like that its different... but it wont fit in my tv stand... which is fine, because i wont be buying one... so, I guess i like the look. shrug

The worst part of Kickstarter, is the people who back projects on Kickstarter. If you're gonna get all flustered over a delay or that you're not getting daily progress reports, just wait until the project is done and buy it then. Otherwise, stop the incessant whining....

My Ghostbusters pre-order didn't arrive in the mail until Thursday, so I'm working on that. It may not actually be much in the way of a remaster, but it's still a really good game, better than I remembered.

The game itself was really good, but they were about 10 years too late with the toys. We're over that. It's too bad to see an otherwise great game sunk by a terrible marketing decision.

I've owned every Nintendo console and handheld. The faults have been few and far between. Floppy N64 analogue sticks, which was fairly common, the Wii issue where leaving the Wii Connect 24 (or whatever it was called) enabled overheated the GPU and cause some onscreen noise artifacts, and my launch day Switch had the disconnecting left joycon, which Nintendo fixed free of charge.

Was never a big deal. I've already finished the first two, and working on 3. Crybabies are gonna cry, however...

I've never been much of a multiplayer fan, I honestly probably wouldn't have even noticed that they took it out. Loving replaying the single player. Definitely one of my faves from that era.

I think he's absolutely right in that there was more people who wanted to complain about it than there was people who actually cared about the movie. "Sonic looks horrible, I'd never watch that!" "Would you watch it if Sonic looked amazing" "Meh, probably not... But gawd he looks awful!"

@Toshiro_Baloney there was. Youngblood was released on Switch, PS4, and XB1, and CyberPilot was released for PSVR the same day. Picked up a copy, but I haven't had a chance to play it yet.

Between the 3 DOOM releases and 2 new Wolfenstein games last week, i'm pretty much good for now.

Edit: oh, and RE4 went on sale last week, so I've got that waiting... Was a good week last week.

Fair score. I've been enjoying it so far, and it runs well, but the focus on co-op is not to my taste. I much prefer a straight up single player approach like the previous games. Picked up a copy of Wolfenstein Cyberpilot as well. I suspect that will be more my style, buy I haven't tried it yet.

I picked up Wolfenstein Youngblood and Wolfenstein Cyberpilot yesterday, only to get home to find DOOM 1, 2, and 3 available... So I'm playing a lot of DOOM and Wolfenstein.

@Elvie DOOM 3 BFG Edition did come with DOOM and DOOM2, yes. I suspect this is the original, non BFG release of D3.

Great games, Mutant Mudds and Xeodrifter in particular. You can't afford not to pick them up at this price.

@Jin15 motion controls use the gyro, not IR. The lack of IR will have no effect on motion controls.
