@RupeeClock yeah, I didn't think of that one because I keep it in the big special edition box, which has a yellow spine. I like having a few different ones that stick out.

Edit: does DOOM have a reversible cover on Switch? I know the PS4 does for sure, and I have that flipped, but I don't remember if I flipped my Switch copy or not.

I already have a few that aren't red. The reversible cover for Spla2oon is pink, the Labo cases are black, and I've got another but I can't think of what it is off the top of my head.... The reversible cover on Night Trap, maybe, think that's a Sega CD blue.

It was an easy Platinum Trophy on PS4 and Vita, but I don't think I'd play it without the trophy achievement angle to give it some purpose. No reason to play this on a Nintendo console where Mario Kart is a thing.

@SwitchForce Enhanced Edition is not a "Nintendo updated release". It was previously released on PC in November 2017, and releases on PS4 and Xbox1 the same day as the Switch release. Given that it's a currently available re-release of a previously released game, we know that the added content isn't anything game changing. It's still, in my opinion, a disappointing game. Others will disagree, and that's fine, but I fail to see how criticism of multi-plat 3rd party game somehow makes someone biased against Nintendo. No need to get so defensive, troll.

I thought this game looked great when it was first announced years ago. Played through it on PS4 a couple years back, it was very disappointing. Can't say I'd recommend it.

I only picked up Hollow because it was on sale stupid cheap. It was trash. If my purchase in anyway contributed to this sequel coming about, I sincerely apologize, and feel shame.

I thought of that when I saw it announced.... Wondered how they would handle it. Guess they just didn't! lol

I've enjoyed this one on Gear VR.... Fun game, but not sure how it'll hold up outside of VR.

If a new system came out with no physical media, I'd be fine with that. But a hardware variant of an existing console with no physical drive? No way. The biggest reason for me to buy a "Switch Lite" type device would be as a second Switch for my children, but I'm not gonna buy it if it means re-buying all the physical games I own that they would want to play (basically every Nintendo release). I own over 35 physical Switch games, I'm not even looking at a Switch variant that can't play them.
If they wanna go all digital with the next gen, go for it, I won't be one of the ones crying about it, but don't switch mid-cycle.

$40 each on the Canadian eShop. Nope. I'll be waiting for a sale.

Never finished it on Wii U, but I'd be more inclined to play it through on Switch. I think I got about half way through, then had to travel for work and just never went back to it. I did play through Liberation on Vita and enjoyed it. If that price is accurate, I'll give 'em both another run.

Day One for me, if it ever comes out. Would like to see it sooner rather than later, because other than Yoshi, and Luigi's Mansion 3, I don't think there's anything else official in the pipeline I'm excited for.

Disappointing that we'll have to wait longer for it, but great to hear that Retro is going to be involved. I'd rather wait for quality. I'll survive.

I was really excited to play this when it came out on PS4. Did not enjoy it.

Played the original WiiU release with my son when he was about 4.... This rerelease comes just as my 5 year old daughter is starting to take interest in games. Can't wait to start playing through it again with her!

It looks cool, but I was really disappointed when I actually played it. There's no levels. Whole game is on the same small bedroom map. No story. Very limited building options, like 3 different walls, 3 different placeable weapons, and that's it. Build up some walls and place a couple turrets during the day, defend them at night, rinse and repeat. That's all there is.

Atooi is my favourite indie dev. Never disappoints. Really looking forward to playing CW again.

These exact metal cases have available on Amazon and eBay for quite a while in a variety of colours. I bought a pack of 5 of these cases, in different colours, for like $20 Canadian.

I always buy physical for Nintendo 1st party releases because I love collecting the boxes, and I usually go physical for 3rd party AAA titles, but that's based more on storage space. I also buy alot of digital indie games though too. Right now I'm at 35 physical, and 70ish digital. Getting time to upgrade my 200gig SD card

If I'm being honest, this poll just made me realize what a crappy year it's been. The only 2 categories i really had a game that I would actually want to vote for were Best 3DS Game (Luigi's Mansion), and Best Multiplayer (Mario Party). Everything else is pretty meh. We all know Smash is gonna clean up anyway, and I'm glad you're all enjoying and all, but it's really not for me.

@SwitchForce moot.... whether you buy or not is moot. Mute doesn't even begin to make any sense.

Finished playing through this this afternoon. It's very short (I finished in under 2 hours). Not bad by any means, but if there was a point to any of it, it went over my head. It's relaxing, so I guess that's something. I'd recommend waiting for a sale.

I won't pretend to understand all the ins and outs of YouTube monitization, but this all looks perfectly fair and reasonable to me. I'm sure the YouTube drama queens will complain about it though.

Overall, I don't really care, but it will be nice to watch Nintendo Directs on my switch instead of my PS4 for a change. That always made me feel a little dirty...
