Indie point-and-click game Later Alligator will receive a physical edition release and a nice selection of merchandise when it arrives on Switch, it's been confirmed.
The newly-revealed goods are launching courtesy of Fangamer, with pre-orders for the physical game going live today. The physical release is scheduled for Q1 2021, meaning it'll arrive slightly after the game's planned digital release – which should be later this year.
The merch has been designed by SmallBlu, the creative team behind the game itself. There's a t-shirt, pins, and vinyl soundtrack to be had if you feel like treating yourself:
Later Alligator tells the story of Pat the alligator, a (mostly) harmless and (probably) innocent reptile at the center of a conspiracy that could bring down the biggest, scariest family in Alligator New York City: his own! Explore the city, meet the Family, and try to save Pat before the clock runs out.
Alligator New York City comes to life with the classic hand drawn animation style of SmallBu Animation, featuring densely animated areas to explore, 30 goofy minigames, and over 100 alligator residents to investigate. With multiple endings and a fully-animated cartoon finale, Later Alligator is a funny urban adventure you can play again and again.
Anything here taking your fancy? Did you check this one out on Steam when it launched there last year? Let us know in the usual place.

Absolutely adore Smalbus works
That is the cutest ******* thing that I've ever seen.
Looks awesome, that said it's a Fangamer release so I'll probably get burned on shipping ordering from their site, and will be better off waiting for the EU region release.
This looks amazing! Think I'll check it out
Wow, this looks great. Very evocative.
Fantastic game, glad it's getting some more love
Looking forward to playing this! Plus Fangamer make excellent quality merch! I have a bunch of t-shirts, plushies, books and pins from them and I've never been disappointed!
I will definitely be picking this up! tbh I'll most likely get the PC version if one is released, only because point & clicks don't really work all too well with a controller. I am excited to check this out though.
So many gems on the Switch to discover!
Ooooh, I played this on PC last year, it's so wonderful and charming! Highly recommend it.
