That's quite the collection. A big bonus that some are already out. Definitely worth looking into.
Hell yes Umurangi!!!!!!!
Yaaay I’ve been waiting to play Spelunky, and it arrives right after my bday 😁
Given that the vast majority of the dozens of titles will be completely unknown to virtually everyone one, maybe add some screenshots or trailers?
still no update on Sports Story
With presentations like these, sometimes less is more. Maybe there are some interesting titles that I didn't previously know about amongst there somewhere but I ain't going through the effort of trying to find them.
Ooo, plenty to watch here. I'll have to check the rest of it out later. I'll jack that speed up to 1.5x - love that youtube option.
(one of those hosts is....distracting.)
@Teksetter I really hope your joking bc I don't want to burst your bubble but its not spelunky, Its spelunker.
Some pretty neat stuff here, going to have to check it out later.
Slightly off topic,but,still no date for the new turtles game!?!? ☹️
@3DS-83 slightly off topic but lemon juice can help to remove wine stains.
A bit of an information overload there from the Indie Expo. The ones that stand out are the games already talked about for release on Switch on this site. Need to "investigate" the others, I suppose but a large number there.
Thanks! But I better study it more closely later. Kinda confusing right now, especially with some titles like Songbird Symphony which I'm pretty sure have been on Switch in my region for a long while.
@nhSnork Just to clarify, a segment of the show seemed to be allocated to games that were already available.
@Moistnado but it’s not game related tho is it u ***** turbo nonce!
so no indie titles at the big showcases? this is a smart move. I know we still will see a few. but give a showcase for all the indie titles can shine.. Nintendo, Microsoft, Capcom and the rest can concentrate on the big titles like Zelda, Fable , RE and so on. this E3 is gonna be stellar.
Definitely some choice games in there I’m looking forward to.
All I see are reams of meaningless names.
Most of these games (but not all) will be low-production value efforts made for the dabblers and the curious that provide short term enjoyment at best. Eventually the indie scene will burn itself out due to saturation and lack of genuinely new, workable ideas.
Suprised Spelunky/2 weren't shown here. When the hell are they going to release!?!?!?
@Snatcher
Oh jeez, that’ll teach me for trying to see my phone w/o my glasses 😓
I guess the wait for Spelunky continues... Last December they were saying summer 2021 so I was totally fooled. I so wanted to see Spelunky in this list!
@Radbot42
Right!? I’m not the only one getting impatient. 😤
Azure Striker 3
Blaster Master 3
Coral Island
Coromon
Sea of Stars
Silk Song
Are upcoming indies I'm most excited for
I’ve been curious about the Good Life since it got announced, but I must admit there’s too many games there for me to see anything else I like. It all blurs into each other after a while.
@Teksetter Wanted It to LOL.
I really hope Cygames brings Zone of the Enders 2 to Switch. That would be brill!
If all these waves of games had a race would that make a new WaveRace? WaveRace 4 confirmed!!
I am not sure if King's Bounty II counts as indie but I am glad that this series is alive. Especially when HoMM is seemingly dead.
@Liam_Doolan I have to say, this article does a disservice to the oodles of copy/pasted Indie titles. The links just go to empty summary pages without any screenshots or videos, which is completely useless.
A better way to have done this would be to separate each wave into its own article with video clips or at least screenshots and a brief journalistic game summary included for each game.
@Jamie_R nah. Good Indies will always exist, be honored, and be what people think of when they hear Indie. The rest just gets thought of as Shovelware and rightfully dismissed out of mind.
I’m really glad that Ittle Dew 2+ is coming back to Switch after all that publisher drama. I was hoping to play it on Switch, and now I can!
So for me, both Inti-Create's games of Blaster Master Zero 3 and Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 for sure.
Was hoping to hear about Potion Permit. Looking forward to Kitaria Fables though!
Signed in only to say, I would have preferred an allocation of trailers without commentary or much less to were you can hear game music too akin to indie directs that move thru games quickly. The slowwww transitioning between games and no game audio along with way too much gibberish commentary makes this unwatchable for me :/.
I already Pre-Ordered Zombies Ate My Neighbors! It’s Honestly the only game I’m Excited for, in June right now.
Too much noise. And I'm not sitting through 5 hours of video. Give me 30 - 60 seconds of each game (gameplay mostly), include a short text snippet describing what kind of game it is with a screenshot or two and I'd be very happy with that.
Wow. So many games.
The legend of Tian Ding looks particularly intriguing to me!
In wave six, it says Supermash is coming out on June 24, but I bought that piece of crap without knowing better a while back. Huh?
Lotta games! Phew!
