Question : Are you excited about any of the above games?
Me : Hokko Life and Moving Out TWOOOO...!!! 😆😆😆
But I will get them on PS4 / PS5 version. 😅
There's a couple of games in there that I really interested in, anno mutationem, the knight witch, vengeful guardian, afterimage, teslagard 2, and never awake looks really nice 😃
@Anti-Matter does it really matter what console you'll be getting them for? I just hope you'll enjoy them as much as you can! It's not like you have to defend yourself here, mate
I've just had a look at these and there's definitely a couple of interesting looking titles there! More indie games is always good
Hokko life on Switch for me.
Gamescon really has been a non-event. I feel bad for developers that spent any money promoting their products. Money better spent hiring a streamer or something to act like they enjoy your game.
Maybe I'm getting more generous as I get older but all of these look pretty damn good (yet another farming sim aside). Very impressive showing.
All interesting games, I'll either get them on PC or Switch depending on price, sales, and the likely chance of it getting physical release.
Like, 90 percent of these games employ my least favorite animation technique. Are pixels and polygons too expensive to create? Those games look really good as static images, but in motion, something feels off. Eh, not a fan.
Still no news about a new Donkey Kong game. Last year was Donkey Kong's 40th anniversary and Nintendo done nothing for it and barely even acknowledged it and it was 8 years ago 'Tropical Freeze' came out and we haven't had a single new game on Switch. As a Donkey Kong fan I am sad to see they have killed the franchise off.😯
Was hoping for Y's
@Pillowpants
I played both Nintendo and PlayStation games so I can decide which games should I pick on each machine.
Since I played PS4 games and have built my PS5 games library for future investment, the games library are really depended on 3rd party multi console games by 99% so whenever I saw 3rd multi console games get PS4 / PS5 version in physical release, I will consider them on that version, not on Switch version with another reason.
The reason I will not pick again a lot of 3rd party multi console games on Switch version because I have experienced with annoying downgrades for 3rd party games on Switch version compared with PS4 version for the same games (frame rate drops, lower textures, longer loading times, uncomfortable controlling scheme, etc) and it made me think the Switch version purchase was like a waste of my money.
Also, if I pick all the 3rd party multi console games only on Switch version, my PS4 and PS5 games library will not get the games and it will make the amount of my games library quantity on Switch version will be overloaded (Switch >>> PS4 & PS5) so I have to make sure my Switch, PS4 and PS5 games library still get their games equally (Switch = PS4 = PS5)
Some good stuff in there. I will see what is slated for my XboX S Gamepass and get things that aren't going there on the Switch.
I can't wait to get Hokko Life, really hope it lives up to expectations 🤞🤞🤞
Neverawake looks swell to me.
Teslagrad 2
Vengeful Guardian Moonrider
Misc. a Tiny Tale
These three look really promising.
I tried out the ANNO demo, and the art style is really cool, but the controls might be a bit too heavy for my taste. Afterimage looks beautiful, so I hope the gameplay holds up, and Misc. gives me heavy Chibi-Robo vibes.
It's been a while since I've seen any showing with multiple games that actually grab my attention. Looks like some really great stuff here.
Some really interested games that I would like to play someday.
Was Excited about Hokko Life until I found out it had no online coop. That said it does look great! Might still get it but i'm sad......
Hokko Life and all those delicious metroidvanias! Good times ahead.
