Am I the only one who would rather buy N64 games on Switch than locking them behind a service that will be gone one day?!

Another bummer, I was so expecting a remaster that I could purchase. All NSO games can burn in hell- which they will one day when the service seizes to exist. Nintendo must give the consumers a choice to buy those games along with enabling them bundles. Can’t understand why we can have both at modern ages?!!!!

Yeah I would be excited if we could buy the game. NSO is a terrible way to preserve games. Hope they will bring an option to either subscribe but also buy individual games so everyone is happy.

I would be excited if Nintendo didn’t hide these games behind a service! There should be an option to subscribe to wide variety of games, and also an option to purchase the games separately! Most people wanna buy and own what they buy. NSO will disappear one day and so will the games with it.

Terrible-laziest effort to make an interesting design of a character- switching half hair and eye color? That’s like elementary school design work. That feels like a joke to put this in a big IP.

Still not convinced this game would be worth for its single player only since I don’t play online games.

@ParadoxFawkes I miss MgS4, they should just rebuild it. It’s still just a ps3 game and all their assets are in. Hope this game get rereleased.

@SearchingS they could do one large Omega Collection of MG1/MG2/MGS1-V, or make one collection of MG1-2/MGS1-3 on one collection, and MGS4, Peace Walker and V. To make it more cohesive, I would makeMGS 3, Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes and V on one Story Collection and Snake Saga (MG1-2,MGS1-4). What do you guys think?

@KayFiOS yeah MG1,MG2, Twin Snakes would be great along with 2,3 and 4 what a collection that would be! If they added something with Smash, that would be fun, but less likely since they would release on all platforms probably.

The best hack and slash game out there. Not even DmC or God of War, or Bayonetta compares to such deep combat. Amazing visuals and the very best gameplay. I agree some chapters were a slog but overall amazing game, that truly felt like next gen even more than GOW.

Please Soul Reaver 1 on Switch!!!!!

Single Player Third person shooters are severely lacking on Switch. Hope this game will be of higher quality with features improving replay ability too. Multiplayer( split screen) would be most welcome!

@Serpenterror that’s so annoying that they don’t release complete games and the dlc has to be downloaded! I would buy a complete Super Smash Bros ultimate in no time if they release it.

I lost hope for Pokémon games after Black 2. XY was fun but just ok, Sun/Moon was a fun change but nothing exceptional, skipped SW/SH. Legend Arceus was unpolished messy experiment that just showed how little does Game Freak/PKmn Comp respect their fans( same can be said about BDSP when they couldn’t even balance the game or make Exp Share switchable/ and how much effort can that take?!…. Now seeing the silly legendaries in Scarlet/ Violet where a legendary has a tire in his chest but keeps running anyway/ well now mixing transformers into it and making Pokémon turn into a sparkling crystal creatures with a crown is just plain stupid…. The series is turning more and more into a game for toddlers and it used to be so much better. Gamefreak does t care about fans a tiny bit, they just wanna squeeze as much money out of people as they can, nothing less, and their attitude shows in their games. I was hopeful after the disappointment with Arceus and BDSP that Violet and Scarlet might be worth it, but they lost me again. Too bad because I used to be a huge fan. It hurts me that such a great series rests in the hands of greedy, selfish, untalented, unimaginative group of people. Shame on Nintendo for tolerating their abominable creations in the part few years!

Please release Star Fox Zero on Switch finally! It’s not like it will take hard work to bring it over.

It is quite disappointing considering Switch has no AAA Third Person shooters of the same quality (not graphics) like Uncharted, Gears, Ratchet, MGS, Mass Effect… on the other hand, people who prefer online have a ton of options with-Warframe, Fortnite, and so on, but NOTHING for Singleplayer enthusiasts:(

I really hope Splatoon 3 will offer a single player campaign like Ratchet and Clank games. This would be a dealbreaker for me.

@Not_Soos agreed. I would also appreciate a story mode like Ratchet and Clank. This is the only AAA third person shooter on Switch and the past games had no story so I hope they would fix it this time.

JET FORCE GEMINI!!!!!! One of the very best N64 games! Super polished for that era and the very best TPS on the console!

@somebread yeah totally agree. I am still looking forward to this game but the story just feels super generic. I thought we will have some interesting main villain and characters, and even Bayonetta looks like a kid compared to 1&2 where she was really sexy. So for me, the design feels like a step back and story just lame, but the gameplay will be amazing for sure, I just hope they manage to release an amazing game that will top previous two games.

That’s great news, I wish they brought this updated version to the Switch! Since on 3DS it still has some frame rate issues. Otherwise this was the best version of Snake Eater( except the slightly worse foliage and resolution. Please bring this to Switch!!!!!!

Respect for the amazing work- phenomenal. I would love if Ocarina actually looked like the Tech Demo Nintendo released on Wii U if you guys remember. That respected the original art much better.

@quinnyboy58 totally agree, have they banned Call of Duty, or every movie where Russian soldiers are killed? No! They haven’t! It makes no sense- they could as well ban the movie Goldeneye from watching and everything else!

Switch version could look decent if the game will be in more enclosed areas- look at Alien Isolation! Even though it was a ps3 game it looked phenomenal. Maybe there will be a new Switch by then:))))

It was quite disappointing to be honest. Some good titles but Switch has a phenomenal library of RPGs so adding more feels just bland. Nier is a great addition but Switch already has phenomenal hack and slash games. I feel the only genre that needs a serious boost is Third Person Shooters!!!! Why Platinum releases Nier and still hasn’t Vanquish?!!!!! There is still not a single mind blowing TPS and the fleet is still lead by RE4 which is a 17 year old game! Nintendo should cover their bases better

There are so many RPGs on Switch that I don’t really see the point to demand any more, when there is not a single AAA third person single player shooter on par with the likes of Last of Us2, Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank…etc. I would love to see MGS come back, and having a similar game like Mass Effect, or at least Vanquish, which should have happened long time ago- such excellent arcade TPS and Nintendo has a good long partnership with Platinum! Even though I prefer the Sci fi setting of MGS, could we at least get some Splinter Cell? Besides, maybe we could see the rumored Prince of Persia Sands of Time remake. I would be also glad if Switch got a new Resident Evil or RE VIII or RE2 remake, which was excellent. GTA V could be possible, or new Silent Hill? Nonetheless I would love to see Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie , or Jet Force Gemini remakes. Also, regarding Zelda- capcom made the Minish Cap- could we see a third party make a new 2D Zelda?! Zelda remakes would be still the best to appear if a third party studio made them, but there is not much hope there:/ My last hope would be a new Sin And Punishment or at least remake or remaster of Star Successor or seeing some great older titles come back- like Soul Reaver 1, remake of Eternal Darkness, MGS Twin Snakes, DK racing, or even Lords of Shadow 1/2, Shadow of Colosus, Zone of the Enders 1/2 remasters.

@steventonysmith I agree that scores don’t matter, gameplay and story is what counts on my end. But if we consider third person shooters, show me a single third party single player game that is better than any of those I mentioned( except Arkham games). Have you actually played all of them so you can objectively judge and pass such a strong judgement? The only solid third person AAA title on Switch is RE4. Sony has Ratchet, Uncharted, MGSV, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption, Last of US- all amazing titles( not counting other ps3 remakes). Switch has a ton of great games, but if you know the library, you will have to agree that Switch severely lacks in this department. So arguably what third party Third Person single player games would be possible?! Well, switch can handle ps3 games and what are the very best TPS from PS3? Definitely those I mentioned- nobody would argue because Mass Effect, MGS, GTA, Vanquish are all games that ran on ps3 and there is nothing as highly polished in the genre as these games. I would be super happy if you mention any games that would have such high level of polish, great story and gameplay. Unfortunately Switch only has Sniper Elite, Saints Row, Red Faction, RE1, Zero and 4-6, Revelation 1/2, these are not bad games but still just solid B games. So what are the better choices out there since you seemed very confident that there are better possible options out there?!

@steventonysmith seems you know very little about one genre that severy lacks on Switch. If you are not adult enough to tolerate other peoples opinions and wishes, then go disturb someone else. Disrespectful and judgemental/aggressive behavior is not tolerated here unless you wanna be kicked out of the group. Unless you can behave like an adult, if you are, and communicate in respectful manner. All games I mentioned are all games rated 90+ scores and they deserve it. I bet I am not alone, plus not many other games would generate so much profit on switch because these are some of the top ps3 titles. If you have better third party suggestions I would love to hear what those are!

This is a huge disappointment- we all want a new Star Fox, F Zero, Metroid or Dread DLC, new Mario or 3D Donkey Kong, Metroid Trilogy, more Zelda news! This should better have a very solid third party games like Metal Gear HD collection or Twin Snakes, Mass Effect, Vanquish, and Batman Arkham games, or it’s a screw up!!!!!

@Cregglenator agree, the second game was quite good- in some aspects even better than Uncharted. But it’s a crime not having a Mass Effect on Switch- also no Vanquish? They have such a long partnership with Platinum and there is no sight of one of the most fun arcade TPS. These are all just ps3 games! Even gta v should be on switch!

N64/GC and Wii games would be great, but not only hidden and locked within the NSO subscription, all games should be also available for a purchase! Everyone I know avoids the NSO just because it’s an unreliable access to retro content, and that wont compare with an the option of actually purchasing and owning the software in some form. Wii had the option so why not give consumers options?! Someone finds the subscription better to try some games, and if they like it they could still purchase them afterwards. Everyone would be happy!

One of the main points is how awesome/badass the character is, then how creative can you be with the combat and when we take the battle options of for example Duck Hunt and compare it to Sora- you Can get a a better sense of what my point is.I actually agree with you, all you said is totally right, but I still felt that Sora just had strongest support in Japan, not the US or EU. And I don’t think it’s bad to talk about it since this won’t be the last Smash game so the future choices might be impacted too. You tell me, who would you chose as the last character of you could change it?

Doomguy would be still better or Leon Kennedy. Even RE series has been loyal to Nintendo unlike Kingdom Hearts series that released as a SHI&@y cloud game. RE4 was exclusive for a long time to Gamecube and it’s maybe the best game in the franchise and started on Nintendo! That would be an epic appearance! Or James Bond from Goldeneye- instead of a lame Minecraft Steve:/

Please bring Goldeneye 007 remaster FOR PURCHASE on Switch, NO NSO!!!! We want to own this game and not hiding it behind a subscription that will change or disappear one day like what happened with MGS and many other games. Hope this game and Banjo Kazooie both come remastered on Switch!

@tyranny_life yeah new Diddy Kong Racing would be amazing and totally agree with 3D DK. I remember how hyped I was for DK64 but it wasn’t as awesome as the original Banjo, even though I had a lot of fun with the game, so they should definitely do a 3D DK with the same efforts as they put into Mario Odyssey:)

It would be a day one purchase and the same goes for Goldeneye, as long as they don’t move it just to Switch Online service- never gonna pay for games I can’t own!!!!!!

No but for sure, until they decide to take their games with respect the franchise deserves, and stop milking a dead cow. They have the most profitable franchise on the planet and could do far more with the franchise. This should be God of War, Metroid, Zelda, Metal Gear, Last of Us, Or Monster Hunter Rise level of polish. And finally realize that players today are not brain dead monkeys and that their game really needs a story- a more adult one too, decent characters and innovate gameplay. Even No No Kuni was a better Pokémon game overall, and that’s like a 10year old game. They just do lazy ass job and instead of making proper games every 4-6 years, they abuse players with their third versions and making sub par games all the time. What happened since Black 2?!!!!! The last proper well made Pokémon game?!!!!

So sad that one of my favorite RPG developers succumbs to this greedy low abominable practice. We will never support this and it’s terrible to see them do this!
