@RR529 no, I mean I get what you’re saying, but I meant that I get a lot of Wonder Picks from previous sets, specially Dialga and Palkia with Shininy Revelry(it’s usually 40-60 or 50-50) and suddenly none of them have full arts on them for the past 2 weeks. , unlike when they were the active set or 2 weeks ago. Same happened with GA and Triumphant Light.

@RR529 but I mean from previous sets, not the current one. It will happen again when there’s a week before the next set.
That Wigglytuff one is just evidence that the odds are tampered with, because it’s pretty common though it has the same odds as any other illustrations

@GoldenSunRM I can get behind that logic about my own luck when opening packs… but how do you explain the sudden drop of full arts in the Wonder Picks? Pretty weird nobody is pulling full arts or specials anymore when you could find them everyday, isn’t it?

And it’s not the first time it’s noticeable.

@Bunkerneath I agree! I think the odds are being controlled …(which is illegal in most countries) when new packs are on the horizon.
I haven’t seen or hit illustrations (neither in packs nor Wonder Pick) for Dialga / Palkia in quite a few weeks and it’s quite noticeable

@roy130390 I guess in Mexico it will fail then. Nintendo has never had the best market here. People usually lean towards Xbox anyway (I never understood why)
But if the console costs $13,500 then the games will cost $2,000 ($100 USD) here no doubt. And knowing the economy of my country right now, it’s just too much for it to have a significant market and launch.

One of the best games ever. It’s fun, it’s chaotic, true skill needed, easy to understand, difficult to master. Wish Nintendo made a sequel to this.

@-wc- ironically over here we are all around 40 too ... and nobody here is excited as other times with the new console. Maybe its because the world is looking dire right now and we start thinking there's so many responsibilities to pay for and this time is more of the same and with a business philosophy that not many want to get behind.

I've also been a Nintendo megafan since I was 5 ... and even though I have many Switch games... I don't like when Nintendo gets overconfident and on top and forgets about their fans and start putting the shareholders upfront of the stage.

@WiltonRoots In Brazil the Switch 2 costs the equivalent to $762 usd BEFORE taxes.
In Mexico it may cost the equivalent to $600-$650 usd or more.

Can’t find the cost of the games in Brazil or Mexico yet… but you can imagine. The point is, no… you can’t always work use the cost differences to your advantage and certainly not for people living in those countries. All things have different costs in different regions.

Brazil is infamous for being notoriously expensive with video games, specifically Nintendo products.

So you get a Complete Edition of an PS4-enhanced PS3 game and a Complete Edition of a PS4 game… both enhanced for PS5.

So in retrospective, you just further proved the point that Nintendo is being extremely greedy with this move.

Sure, you say you travel a lot, but you didn’t know that countries have different prices for everything because of the different currencies and taxes? @Serpenterror I mean… that’s not comparable. That is a collectors edition. It includes a steelcase, all the dlc, a comic, lithographies and a thank you letter.

@WiltonRoots you didn’t read the comment at all. It’s not about the money. It’s their anti consumer tactics. Sure, you think this is about $10. My time spent commenting here is worth more than those $10….. however it is the path that Nintendo is taking. And if people dont say anything about it, then they will feel enabled and keep doing more anti-consumer stuff.

Remember when they said the $70 price hike for TotK was a one and done situation? Mmmhhhh not even 2 years afterwards and look where that got us. Because people enabled them.

So yeah… $10 over here… $10 over there… another $10-$20 over there… then expenses start piling up … and not for a good, explainable or defendable reason either.

It’s not about money either, it’s about principle and not letting them stick it to their consumers.
