@River3636 Or digital booklets for Collection of Saga. The original games came with fantastic books of secret hints! Don't get me wrong, the nostalgia is real and the games are still fun, but having to turn to the internet for what should have been included is kind of a bummer.

As cool as this would be, with XCloud and Console streaming it's not as though portable options don't exist. Of course you need good internet and a current phone, but I don't feel like that's a wholly unpopular setup these days.

@Ryu_Niiyama I just played through it last week. Really beautiful game that is absolutely worth your time. It's only a few hours long as well (which I appreciated)

@Custom1991 Because that would exclude the rest of the americas (Brazil, Canada, etc). The western world is how it has been referred for centuries now

Also, english is far from the only language used. In the US alone, I've lived places where the primary languages include Spanish, English, & French.

What do you mean by West? - Anything Europe or west of it due to Star Wars licensing and the size of the company that owns it

this game doesn't look that great regardless of what they'd call it. - Looks like a game fun for people familiar with the source material, but given my lack of familiarity, I'd likely have more fun playing Mario Party or a Jackbox Party pack

@FNL I agree completely, but why has boycotting become a 4 letter word? If you don't like a company, don't buy their stuff. It's basically the capitalist form of voting. Why do we villify the left or the right for not supporting a business they don't like? I think that politics might be stupid.

@nilcam Came here to say this. They aren't bad by any means. They are, however, the very definition of mediocre.

I had these as a kid and loved them. Kids are stupid.

@shani Because this isn't outdated. You can't honestly play a 1 on 1 fighter with an arcade stick and tell me it's worse. It'd be like saying a flight simulator is worse with a flight stick. Or Forza is worse with a steering wheel.

Some controller types are designed to improve the experience for a specific game type. As is true with arcade sticks and fighters

If this worked cross-platform I'd snag it in a moment. Especially given the dynamic button layouts, I'm surprised XBox isn't also supported.

@Axlroselm @Bunkerneath Depends on your perspective I suppose. If you simply want to play the games on it, yeah. There are more affordable ways to do that especially if you already own any Nintendo system (which you likely do if this is something you're even looking at)

As a collectors item this is very much worth the price. The product is extremely well made. Beautiful metal face-plate, buttons feel perfect, screen looks great and the secrets are a real treat. 10/10 fairly valued collectors item. 4/10 overpriced way to play Mario 1 & 2.

@NintendoByNature Fair, and to each their own. Like gamepass, it's nice to give the choice to buy or borrow, I just get worried when it seems Nintendo is choosing one OR the other. It'd be nice if we could both have our way.

I'm a little confused by the release of individual NES games. This worries me with what feels like the death of S/NES online

@BenAV I get where you're coming from. Performance killed it so I ended up trading it in for the XBox version. If you do get a chance to play it, it's amazing. But the Switch version was a let down for sure, I'd play on PS4 or Xbox (if you happen to have one of those) if you ever want to give it a chance.

@JR150 I literally want every game on every system. Let the platform itself draw users. Want to play it anywhere? Nintendo. Want it unreasonable powerful? PC. Want it in a Netflix sub style? Xbox. Want whatever people go to Playstation for? Playstation (not being rude, I know Playstation is good for exclusives, but the whole point of this is to get rant is to get rid of exclusives)
