@AnorakJimi I mean... It can still be (and still is) a sexual innuendo. It's quite literally a double entendre. I get what they were trying to do, but especially given that the majority of people have no idea about the first game, it falls kind of flat. Even knowing the context I have to agree with @Kiz3000 in that it creates a rather jarring opening to an otherwise excellent advsertisement.

@EVIL-C agreed about the empty world, but 1 kept it small, while the sheer size of 3 made it all the more apparent. The lack of dumpster diving didn't help.

I'm sure you're right about the combat, but I guess I would have hoped for more evolution after such a long wait.

@EVIL-C Had a blast with both 1 & 2. TSA was mediocre for sure, but 3 felt like Suda totally missed what made the first two fun. The jokes were contrived, the world felt bland & empty, the minigames were tedious, & the combat was repetitive at best.

To each their own, but for me NMH3 was the only game in the series which scored a "No" on a scale of "Is it fun". Even TSA scored a "Sort of". A real bummer as I've always been rather fond of NMH.

I just finished this one after having bought it at launch and setting it down for a bit. This was without question my least favourite entry (not too far below TSA). It tried too hard with the plot (which really fell flat), lost all the charm, and felt more repetitive than any other entry. On a scale of "Is it fun?" I give it a "Sort of". Combat is fun (most of the time) but everything else is a slog.

@Grumblevolcano I cant speak for playstation + as is, because I haven't had it for about 5 years, but I disagree with XBox Live Gold has more content. I mean, this may technically be true, but I think I've played 2 of the games I received through the service (Little Nightmares & Castlevania)

I've had NSO for less time, and I've invested way more hours into the SNES especially, it just appeals to me more. I guess the argument really depends om the person, but I get way more bang for my buck with NSO

Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Price?

XBontendo

@PickledKong Why on earth would I be fuming if EA did it? EA already does this for $30 a year and it's great. I get it as a perk of gamepass ($15 a month) and I get to play a ton of there stuff at no extra cost. I love subscription models. I get to play a good amount of games for a fair price rather than paying full retail per game for things I might not enjoy. I think $4.17 a month for this is great. I get why people might not like it if they don't like retro games, but I'm pretty jazzed.
