@AnorakJimi I mean... It can still be (and still is) a sexual innuendo. It's quite literally a double entendre. I get what they were trying to do, but especially given that the majority of people have no idea about the first game, it falls kind of flat. Even knowing the context I have to agree with @Kiz3000 in that it creates a rather jarring opening to an otherwise excellent advsertisement.
I think it's worth it. Less than $5 a month for that many games and the expansions is a solid deal. Granted I also don't have a problem with streaming over owning movies.
@EVIL-C agreed about the empty world, but 1 kept it small, while the sheer size of 3 made it all the more apparent. The lack of dumpster diving didn't help.
I'm sure you're right about the combat, but I guess I would have hoped for more evolution after such a long wait.
@EVIL-C Had a blast with both 1 & 2. TSA was mediocre for sure, but 3 felt like Suda totally missed what made the first two fun. The jokes were contrived, the world felt bland & empty, the minigames were tedious, & the combat was repetitive at best.
To each their own, but for me NMH3 was the only game in the series which scored a "No" on a scale of "Is it fun". Even TSA scored a "Sort of". A real bummer as I've always been rather fond of NMH.
@Nephestinus Agreed, which I find odd because they don't have to use them. It's easy enough to just put a name in the textbox and forgo the portrait entirely, which likely would've given this a more consistent visual feel
@Pineapple_Mohawk Wallachia had pretty positive reviews. I almost grabbed it in October for spooky season, so I won't complain at a chance to get it for free
I had an absolute blast with this on Gamepass. If you haven't had a chance to enjoy this yet I would highly recommend. Very interesting mystery and a super duper cast.
I just finished this one after having bought it at launch and setting it down for a bit. This was without question my least favourite entry (not too far below TSA). It tried too hard with the plot (which really fell flat), lost all the charm, and felt more repetitive than any other entry. On a scale of "Is it fun?" I give it a "Sort of". Combat is fun (most of the time) but everything else is a slog.
@UnseatingKDawg You can only buy this if you're an NSO subscriber, I don't think this one's scalpers, just a short supply. I grabbed one the first day with no issue, but I'm also in the NSO=yes group.
@Grumblevolcano I cant speak for playstation + as is, because I haven't had it for about 5 years, but I disagree with XBox Live Gold has more content. I mean, this may technically be true, but I think I've played 2 of the games I received through the service (Little Nightmares & Castlevania)
I've had NSO for less time, and I've invested way more hours into the SNES especially, it just appeals to me more. I guess the argument really depends om the person, but I get way more bang for my buck with NSO
@PickledKong Why on earth would I be fuming if EA did it? EA already does this for $30 a year and it's great. I get it as a perk of gamepass ($15 a month) and I get to play a ton of there stuff at no extra cost. I love subscription models. I get to play a good amount of games for a fair price rather than paying full retail per game for things I might not enjoy. I think $4.17 a month for this is great. I get why people might not like it if they don't like retro games, but I'm pretty jazzed.

Re: Review: Wonder Boy Collection - Four Well-Presented Wonders In a Stingy Standard Package
That's too bad, since the first 4 games are already available in some form on Switch I was hoping for a more comprehensive package

Re: Gallery: Brand New Screenshots Of Sonic Origins, Out On Switch This June
@samuelvictor I'd fight a bear for Mania 2
Re: Gallery: Brand New Screenshots Of Sonic Origins, Out On Switch This June
@samuelvictor I get what you're saying, but they're still old games, with the same visuals I've experienced before.
If you put gold leaf on a McDonald's burger, it's still the same burger and I wouldn't pay fine dining prices for it
Re: Gallery: Brand New Screenshots Of Sonic Origins, Out On Switch This June
This game feel really expensive for what it is. Compared to the value of the md/g collection I feel like Sega kind of missed the mark on this one.
Re: Poll: Which Wii Sport Is The Best Wii Sport In Wii Sports (And Which Is The Worst)?
@Anti-Matter oh mercy, it's planes. I was thinking dogs.
Re: Poll: Which Wii Sport Is The Best Wii Sport In Wii Sports (And Which Is The Worst)?
Wait... dogfighting isn't actually in the game right? That choice is a joke?
Re: Konami Looks To Change Its Name, Because Why Not
^ pretty unnecessary comment.
They should just sell off their video game IPs, or spin off another company, the larger brand's vision is just bizarre

Re: Balan Wonderworld Is Officially The Worst Switch Game Of 2021, According To Metacritic
I quite liked earthblood. It felt like the good ol' days of PS1/2 where you could have an objectively bad action game but still have a great time.
Re: 'Kanto Reboot' Brings 36 New Pokémon Shirt Designs To Original Stitch's Lineup
$100 for a shirt is bonkers, I don't care how cool they are.
Re: Poll: What's The Worst Legend Of Zelda Game?
@Joker13z it doesn't include CDi games because they are perfect and it isn't worth listing them as choices.

@MH4 Not sure I understand what you mean. The demo is on the US eshop at least, what is Japan exclusive?
Re: Square Enix Says A Console Version Of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Depends On Demand
