I never owned a NES - I opted for a Master System back then - so I have been playing NES games via NSO, it's proven a very handy means for me to dip my toes into the back catalogue.

@Duncanballs the “black cloud” over the Switch 2 I’ve seen in the comments (which bears no relation to real life), seems to come from accounts created around the Switch 2 launch/reveal. Funny that, plus the usual handful of sneerers we’ve always had here.

@OldGamer999 yep we weren’t affected by SeventyDollarGate here in the UK. The amount of hours I got out of that game is ridiculous. Over 300 hours and I still didn’t do everything, I put it away 75% complete.

@jsty3105 yeah but a whole new breed surfaced after the Switch 2 reveal to cast doubt and concern. Most accounts on here set up after that point seem to share one agenda.

@Duncanballs Always the way, when they see products are selling they go below the RRP because they know they can shift more units...Amazon and Argos for example are never victim to any of the Spanish soap operas over prices we see play out in these comment sections, where you can feel commenters losing hair with every post.

@Galaxy2IsTheGOAT they've still got until the end of March next year (which is the end of their financial year but will still be a few months short of a full year), plus a whole Xmas and Black Friday and post Xmas sale season to sell units, could be interesting.

@Varkster people are boiling it down to watching a DF vid and saying "look! on the PS5 Pro version when they go into the bathroom the toothbrush is there, but it's missing on the Switch 2, same as the flannel! Preorder cancelled!!!"

Are the toothbrush and flannel important play mechanics? No, they're a little extra garnish on the background environment which makes no difference to the game you're playing and you never interact with. But here we are. It's like saying the SNES version of Street Fighter 2 was crap because Dhalsim's stage was missing two elephants.

@bluemage1989 I remember people seething on here about Animal Crossing being 30fps and only one island. It only sold 48.2m copies. If it was 60fps it could have sold a whopping 48.23m copies.

@Varkster It’s been an onslaught for months on here of people crying about specs and framerates. I don’t blame you for taking a break…it’s good to hear these devs gushing about the system though, looking forward to getting my hands on it.
