@Duncanballs random encounters turned me off Skies of Arcadia instantly. Especially coming off the back of Grandia 2 where I could choose my battles most of the time. But yeah I like to talk to everyone and open every drawer and cupboard and scour places…

@jsty3105 somewhere out there is a website called Fisher Price Life, where a bunch of dudes rage in the comments every time Fisher Price gets a new president.

@Duncanballs @Pillowpants did the demo in about 5 hours and didn’t want it to end. Sold! It’s got a lot of charm and it’s been super cozy. I was introduced to the series by XI S which I loved, so glad you can choose to fight rather than getting random encounters out of nowhere all the time.

@ThatOnePenguin Well if you consider racism and endless bots free speech on Twitter then that's fair enough, we all have our opinions at the end of the day...mine is Twitter is a cesspit. I know, I use it all the time and filter out garbage regularly on there. Thankfully they separate the bilge known as For You away from my following/followers, a bit like a sewer system.

I remember getting this back on the Dreamcast, it was the first RE to do away with the room to room method of getting around and was my introduction to the RE series! My next Resident Evil after that was RE4 on the Gamecube...nothing since!

@Severian @EVIL-C it would be great if it did for all those people who loved it, but it truly is a cult classic rather than a blockbuster, much like how they've released all them random SNES and NES games that people have said "why?" for. It got fanned over here in the UK big time by the critics as well and did poor numbers in Japan when it came out which killed its sales. If it did better numbers I'm sure it would resurface somehow. You never know, if it comes to GC NSO and everyone jumps on it, they'd see the stats...

People craving a Switch 2 OLED yet crying that the Switch 2 in its current form is way too expensive. Then run out and buy a Deckbeard because they say there’s no games on the Switch 2. I struggle to keep up with the comment section logic. Selective stinginess.

@Solid_Python wow this is fun, I was browsing in another tab when I smelled the hate so I decided to pop in. Stocks go up and down all the time. Some people need a different hobby if this is making them melt down like this…some dude wrote a million points that I will never read. He needs to go outside.

@spiderman0616 it bears no relation to reality. There’s a whole crew of people with a massive hate boner for the Switch 2 that appeared round about the time of the reveal. Some of them quit or got banned when they realised their posts didn’t work. Some of them are still pressing on, I can’t help but wonder if it’s organised. People can’t be that sad surely.

Now that I've joined the Switch 2 universe I shall be indulging in some Mario Kart World - loving it, free roam is super chilled...and I will give this Dragon Quest VII demo a spin to see how it is.

@Bass_X0 you’re bringing logic to the comment section. That’s not how it works, you need to throw in unrealistic expectations that only a handful of people will want and address Nintendo directly. 😀

@spiderman0616 I swear some people only set up accounts on here to sow dissent. That "Switch 2 struggling" article, the comment section was drowning in them...and if you check their post histories all they've ever done is cry in here.

@spiderman0616 they pretty much did what people asked and they still flipped their lids. Pricewise I did great, got the MKW bundle for £409.99, It’s normally £449.99, if I bit the bullet in November it would have been £399.99. So basically I got MKW for peanuts! Plus Amazon are selling a lot of Switch 2 titles for the same price as OG Switch games. Pays to shop around…but yeah the US situation is bad. The dollar is really weak and will only get worse.

@Duncanballs I reckon that whole subject should be categorised as “off topic” as it derails comment sections every time. Unless they do yet another article about it of course, it could serve as a containment centre.

@Solid_Python without even reading the comments that followed your post I’m predicting some “but but but, muh hair??!?!!???!?” Because obviously a huge part of the play mechanics are the hair. I shall report back.

@IronMan30 makes their tears even more enjoyable as it shows their smear campaign just isn't working. The amount of accounts that have come and gone on here in the last year...some are still crying non stop.

@michellelynn0976 when replying to posts, I noticed most accounts set up this year have one agenda.

I completely overlooked that the Switch 1 family cleared 51,000 units this week. That is phenomenal for a console being put out to pasture. All that western graphical horsepower means nothing over there.

@AmplifyMJ People are still picking up the Switch 1 in decent amounts. It’s pretty much Nintendo Island now. Xbox is probably only getting picked up by Americans living and working in Japan.
