@Ryu_Niiyama I had the Wii U, got it later in its life and thoroughly enjoyed it - which tied in with me signing up here, the Wii era I completely missed through one reason or another, mainly due to rarely being home as I was out nearly every night!

@PessitheMystic the majority? On a gaming website? Where only a miniscule amount of the visitors comment? Like I say gaming is just a lil hobby to me, I can splash a few quid out for the occasional treat and this looks like a treat to me. It’s subjective really. We’re not all in the same boat.

@JohnnyMind all good, the way some clowns in these comments carry on you'd think we're all on the breadline scraping pennies together and selling kidneys to feed our need to play games. I buy a handful of games a year as a treat.

@JohnnyMind the price doesn't overshadow anything to me. Brand new experiences to me, fresh lick of paint, on the go, improved sound and loading without the hassle of buying a second hand Wii and wiring the thing up, buying batteries for wiimotes and all that jazz.

Never played either games as I never had a Wii. Loved the look of Galaxy but not enough to buy a Wii just for it. Apparently they're both brilliant and two of the best Mario games. Is this true?

@GrailUK It's like we're witnesses to a separate universe at times in here. Nintendo are super litigious, shock horror. Have been for as long as I can remember. It's a complicated world, patents and law, best left to experts.

@bimmy-lee we have a Jumbotron in our kitchen and we have a Master System linked up to it and Funktion One speakers either side for added punch to those 8 bit notes. We need the Master System added to NSO.

The good thing is it's on at lunchtime my time, and I will be working from home - just flick Do Not Disturb on Teams and I'm set! Predicting the unpredictable.

@sixrings I wouldn’t base any opinions on the people in here. The views in here rarely reflect the outside world, you just have to look at the charts. You should try asking colleagues or friends down the bar what they think of resolution, framerates or 98 inch tvs. Nobody in here can solve your problem.

Much like you, I had no preconceptions of what the Switch 2 would be, as a lot of people were saying in the comments long before it was released they would be happy with something that compares to a PS4 - and it's meatier than a PS4.

I haven’t played a Madden game since the second one on the Megadrive/Genesis…it’s come a long way since then. It’s also been a long time since I gave EA a penny. Good for people who want to play handegg on the go though!

@jsty3105 it really isn’t news to be honest. Big corporations are all about their brand and they protect it at all costs. Not just Nintendo.

@mlt yeah but my question would be how much that deficit is contained within the enthusiast circles and how much is a global concern for Nintendo? As has been said before the gulf between the enthusiast and the main customers is astronomical.
