@Elitepatriot thing to remember is not everybody is skint or as miserly as gamers, pay in 3 plans exist and there’s that age old thing of saving up for such things. They’ve had 8 years to put money aside…

That's the exact wording people were using about the Wii before the Switch came out, it was even on my bingo card for ages, "oh but the Wii was lightning in a bottle..." so technically they had lightning in a bottle twice? That's not too bad to be fair.

@IronMan30 I will most likely do the same when I get my Switch 2, I am curious as to whether it’s better than Third Strike? I missed 4 and 5 completely. Capcom are usually good when it comes to sale prices.

I figured this might be an issue as they were moving from carts in the MB region into discs in the GB region. People wanted Gamecube, but a big Gamecube library is going to devour a few gigs of your storage. So I reckon on demand would be a nice option. A bit like how you can offload apps but keep the data associated with it.

So if I’m correct, the Mig switch is completely unlicensed and used predominantly by pirates? A case of the majority ruining it for the few? The console then has online functionality completely disabled if you attempt to use it?

Then some poor hapless soul (little Timmy or whoever) picks up a second hand dud that someone traded in…from a store that never tested an expensive electrical device at trade in to begin with, or some anonymous person online looking for a mug, and the person buying it never testing it either? Is this the scenario that’s playing out?

All that budget on the graphics for Death Stranding 2, getting that hair perfect, those pores, that lighting, the eyelash physics, getting the material physics on the suit bang on and Japan turns round and says "nah you're good - Tamagotchi Plaza son!"

@Trikeboy yep, the smaller cards would only benefit people making smaller games, and these big software companies are already notorious for being really tight on the size of storage they use...

@jsty3105 yeah they’re soiling the comment sections, we have a good crowd of regulars in here, even though we don’t always agree with each other, but when I see names I don’t recognise coming in hot it sets off alarm bells. Would you walk into a room full of people you don’t know and talk down to them in real life? Half these clowns can’t even look someone in the eye.

Good to see the mods are keeping an eye on the recent Polish and Norwegian troll infestation we’ve had recently!

Here’s hoping for some Sega Model 2 and 3 games down the line as well…

@jsty3105 this is another one of those accounts that magically appeared out of nowhere to start an argument. There’s been an influx of them on here since the Switch 2…some people are so desperate for it to fail.

I’m looking to have a second play through of DQXI, it would be great if it was timed around a Switch 2 bump. The game doesn’t really need it but it would be a nice lil bonus.

@sethfranum a lot of these “wants” people cry about aren’t economically viable. If you gave the nerds who shout loudest in comment sections what they want the Switch 2 would cost a grand…

@ChakraStomps My rule of thumb is if they set up an account moments ago and go on about piracy, don't give them the time of day...we seem to have had an influx from Poland and Norway recently - or is it the same two dudes?

@gojiguy mad thing is based on the exchange rate, Switch 2s are actually cheaper in Canada than over here in the UK.

@Dee123 At a rough estimate, how many people do you reckon regularly post in the comments here? No more than 100-150 or so tops in my reckoning. Polls get good counts but that doesn't mean they post or read the comments.

@GrailUK I think it’s a typical case of when it comes to big western games, they never connect with people in Japan. I can’t really remember the last time a big budget western game dominated in Japan ever.

@Lord more a case of if there’s no consoles available there’s no point in buying games just yet. I can’t get hold of a Switch 2 here in the UK, I’m highly unlikely to buy software for something I don’t own.

Also - it’s sold almost 1/6 of the Japanese total for MK8 Deluxe in 3 weeks…
