@AmplifyMJ People are still picking up the Switch 1 in decent amounts. It’s pretty much Nintendo Island now. Xbox is probably only getting picked up by Americans living and working in Japan.

@jfp the intentions behind this article were as clear as day. At the end of the day, it’s their IP, they have the ultimate say as to how it plays out. If it breaks out of being a niche series then there will be more games to follow. Curious to see how it does but it’s definitely on my radar.

It would sell a few thousand copies and be done and dusted.

@TCKuma @SalvorHardin I said years ago that these people always find an excuse not to buy the game after begging for it for years. I actually said if one part of the armour is slightly off, they'll go ballistic...

Who would have thought Nintendo would adhere to this alien concept known as marketing schedules.

@Jeff2sayshi it needs games that Japanese people want to play, the PS5 is just a slightly better selling XBox over there now. Big western titles usually vanish after a week from their charts.

@AlonditeFE It's the Metroid cycle. As soon as it gets near release, loads of people who asked for it start getting cold feet and casting doubt, talking themselves out of buying it yet again over one tiny thing that bugs the hell out of them.
