Re: Japanese Charts: Mario Tennis Fever Rallies Back To Take The Second Set

@Misima mad thought, but there's a huge amount of people out there who buy games that don't even give specialist sites like this a cursory glimpse, gaming sites are an absolute microcosm, basically a rag tag bunch of enthusiast social clubs. 99.99998% of the raging in here means nothing at all.

I walk past a Games Workshop every day, there's dudes in there who are probably at war with each other completely unaware of what goes on in here, I just walk past and don't give it a second thought.

Re: Anniversary: The Legend Of Zelda Turns 40 Today - How Did You First Play It?

I’m not going blind. The SNES was left off the poll. For me it was Link to the Past. I never beat it but definitely admired it. Took a big break but never got truly into Zelda games until Wind Waker on the GameCube. After Jet Set Radio I knew cel shaded was a truly timeless art style. I didn’t beat it then either, I got to the triforce shards and gave up. Ocarina of Time came with the Wind Waker bundle, I tried it up to the Forest Temple, but after playing Wind Waker it felt primitive. I just never got on with the N64 at all.

The first Zelda I completely beat was Twilight Princess HD on the Wii U. Loved it. Which made me follow up and beat Wind Waker HD. Followed by BOTW, Link’s Awakening, Skyward Sword HD which I love, TOTK and I’m still not done with Echoes of Wisdom.

I had a huge gap where I didn’t care about games. Too many other things going on.

I was waiting for this hot potato to get posted, waiting for the edgelords to turn up, and they will...thing is, if people didn't brag and boast online all the time to try and appear cool and edgy (in the world of videogames of all things ), these things would have quietly existed under the radar.
