Love this game. Sucks that I'll have to keep my Wii U plugged in to play, but not really there fault. Don't want to pay a second time on Switch and lose all of my save file. Gender swapping seems like an odd thing to add but I guess some one thought it would be fun or something. Looking forward to the new campaigns most.
Alright that's really frustrating. I had a battle video saved of when my family got together at New Years and had a pretty awesome battle together that I had intentions to keep (even with the horrible limited way of being able to actually view or share it) but now it's suddenly without warning gone. I wanted to have it on youtube on something like we have Smash and MK8 to begin with. All gone now.
Great game with some great ideas. Online functionality (like for a lot of Nintendo games, shops, etc.) is a pain and slow to deal with. Some things (such as only being able to watch battle videos through the hidden menus within the game if you have wifi) just don't make sense.
The first one was pretty good. Enjoyed a lot of it. That being said, some bosses were super frustrating, and the voices were pretty terrible, along with the story not being that good, and that's coming from someone who enjoyed the Sonic Adventure games.
Since theu decided it was a good idea to only make the game accessible to iphone users I haven't even tried it yet. I highly doubt most people would pay 10 bucks for a cell phone game anyway.
Wow this is just...terrible. The biggest discount is for a game that originally only cost 7.99 or so and it's 30 percent. 0 other kind of rewards. I really hope the Switch is awesome. This long time fan is getting a bit tired.
I really enjoyed the Wii, and well, honestly every other Nintendo system out there since the NES (well not sure about VB), but I'm really starting to wish that Nintendo would keep up with the others with power and such already. No wonder third parties have had trouble for the past two generations.
I'll never get all the hate for Star Fox Zero. At least it made it in the top 5 in the list. That being said it isn't like there was much to compete with this year.
@Uzuki Good points. I love what both companies create but they can be like that. I think Nintendo itself is worse than Disney though in some ways with that. May be getting better though.
@Anti-Matter I mean a little more than that, such as with the park, shows, etc. Plus, while I'm not afraid to play a game that looks "kiddie", those two games seem like they are very much focused on young kids and not really something many adults would appreciate....that's coming from someone who hasn't actually played them though.
Why not just release this stuff to at least your other two big markets, NA and EU? At times it can be hard to be a fan of a company primarily out of the country.
Come on already. If we are going to give discounts on okder games like this, at least do 40 percent or so. I mean Wrecking Crew is only 5 bucks anywa, so 20 percent off is hardly worth booting the eshop for.
I understand their bias towards Japan, but honestly 11 PM for Eastern Time seems like they didn't even try to make it a decent time for us. Would 11 AM for them be that bad? That would at least put us at 9 pm. Then you've got a real bad time for EU though I guess. I hope they don't think non Nintendo fans are going to care to watch for this thing at 11 o'clock at nigbt until whatever time it goes onto. Ah well. I guess they can see it the next day. I just hope they reach more than just us who hang out at sites like this.
Why can't they be a WV based studio? Not that I have the resume for that anyway, but if they were here I'd be more likely to go back to school. Nothing much but low paying state work.
Why was Pokemon Sun and Moon not even a nomination? Anyway, mostly a sad year to watch as a Nintendo fan. Mostly a show about every other system out there due to not much coming out this year. Still, winning absolutely nothing besides most anticipated game? Does seem a little odd.
I'm obviously very excited for this game, but this particular trialer kind of felt out of place at this show. Maybe it's just because all of these others are trying to look like live action movie trailers or something.
Looks awesome. This wait has been insane. The two looks and this game amd the next Shovel Knight DLC looks great, but as I continue to watch these awards it's really sad how Nintendo hasn't really won a thing, unless you count Pokemon Go getting the handheld award. To name some I really have enjoyed this year, Star Foz Zero (I know everyone hates it) Fire Emblem Fates, and currently Pokemon Sun. Haven't even heard any good nominations and I honestly know nothing about all of these other games like Uncharted 4 that keeps coming up. They may be fantastic, but from this side of things they all look similair in a way.
If this is a TV/DVD only thing I guess that all makes sense, but it seems strange that there hasn't been an actual big Pokemon movie in years in actually theaters if they do this instead. Honestly the anime is a bit too cheesy or something for me most of the time. The 4 episodes of Origins was good though.
I just lost over 1000 coins over night because they don't put uo enough rewards or at least much that isn't mediocre discounts, and now we get more discounts.
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy Little historic towns, some pretty wildlife, maybe a few other things that you don't see much of in a place like NYC, but having lived here my whole life (late 20s) I wish I could move, but I stay for Family.
Playing Sun has pretty much got me to not even touch Go hardly anymore. It got kind of old after a while anyway, especially with all of the gyms being taken by people who apparently do the game for a living and have Pokemon at a level ofnlike 3700 or something.
Man, I really don't see me spending 80 more dollars on this thing. I love my NES Mini, but I have a state job in WV. Not a professional football player.
The new official levels I could play offline sound cool, but not 40 more bucks cool. If you could at least tie the game to your Wii U profile I'd be more tempted.
@NintyFan I know that. I've just been exposed to a lot more Minion stuff than Rabbids I guess, as do I think is the case with most people. Maybe not all gamers, but I'd say most of the general public.
I've somehow never played a Rabbids game, so personally I'd rather them pick something that most people actually like, such as Rayman himself, or another Nintendo franchise, or possibly even Sonic. Just seems like a weird choice. Rabbids to me seem like the off brand version of minions.
Must be nice to be a Nintendo fan in New York. I kind of expect WV never to have a chance to get recognized as even existing, much less Nintendo doing a thing here though
Aw man I wish I could be a part of this. Can't say I'm a speed runner, and we are very low on funds, but I will highly recommend Axiom Verge to those who haven't got it yet. i picked it up a couple of months ago and was very impressed. Definitely worth it.
Almost low enough for Pokken Torunament but not quite. Anfighting game never has seemed like they are worth as much as other games, besides Smash anyway, which i think is more than just a 1 on 1 fighting game.
Would be great to have MK64 on the Wii U VC here in NA at some point. Wii VC works but I personally don't have enough classic controllers to go around. That and honestly it just makes no sense to not have it yet.
@davidevoid Yeah that's true. I just wish if that were the case that the priority would have been the console it came with. Odd design but I guess they have some sort of reason.
@davidevoid Two of my family members tripped over the HDMI cable today though since it was kind of hanging off the ground due to trying not to have to sit right in front of the tv. It was kind of funny honestly, but i feel that didn't happen so much back with the original NES, SNES, etc from what I can remember anyway, even with longer controller cords. I do wonder if your theory with the Wii remote played a part though
The cords I think are pretty ridiculous and make for very complicated set ups. That being said we have gotten a lot of fun out of the little box already. Me on my work trips playing Zelda, my wife and I playing Dr. Mario until midnight, and days like today that I got to play Tecmo Bowl for a few hours with my uncle, cousins, and other family during Thanksgiving. A lot of good in it, despite the obvious flaw with the cord legth.

Why does Nintendo never seem to want to work with Disney? Maybe I'm just bitter still that they picked Universal Parks over Disney too.
