Which discounts are you planning to pick up?

Let the NoE disappointment begin!
I think it's finally time to buy Fast Racing Neo.
Darksiders II and Return to Dreamland are great games. Do note that the former has a rather abrupt end (and a poor final battle) but it was a fun game nonetheless.
These are some great discounts! (Fire Emblem Awakening is NEVER on sale!)
Meh....
@Oscarzxn: Exactly! Such a great game. Give yourself a little time to learn the tracks and get used to the speed and controls. It will be so worth it.
A Nintendo sale that's actually kind of good? That's a first.
I'll probably pick up Super Meat Boy, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, and M&L Dream Team.
Loads of games there 50% off and even one with 75% off.
Meanwhile in Europe we get "up to 40% off".
If we got Kirby's Return to Dream Land at half price I'd buy it. But we won't.
Come on NOE, you can try top that......please?
Does anyone know the download size for Darksiders II? I may cave and get it digitally for that price.
@Tyranexx 9574 MB according to a google search.
Underwhelming selection of 3DS games if you ask me. Only two VC titles? And both are Zeldas, which everyone already have at this point (Club Nintendo gave us several opportunities to get them for free). Other than that, the same games that get a discount every 2 months on e-Shop sales.
I was honestly expecting more discounts... not saying these discounts are bad, but the 3DS has a lot more great games I was hoping to see get price cuts.
@bluedogrulez Well, i played F Zero Gx, so probably it woun't be too extreme for me.
@Oscarzxn Get the DLC too. It's so fantastic.
its still puzzled me as to why tumblestone is so pricy, i mean, are they really selling any copies at that price point?! ô.Ô
anyhow, i might very well grab Don't Starve and maybe a LEGO game or 2... tho i was thinking about getting that Sonic Racing game as well while the sega sale last...
Almost want to buy Link's Awakening DX, but I haven't even started Minish Cap from the E3 sale. Must... resist...
Lego Avengers is kinda tempting, since I love Marvel... but 3DS or Wii U version???
no pokemon games on sale...
Everything that I'd want I already have. Those are some NICE deals though.
Nothing too special, if I had to choose I would probably pick up Mass Attack and Kirby Fighters Deluxe. I'm mostly just waiting until Steam shows what they have up for sale before I start buying some games this week.
Edit: Scratch that, didn't notice the store page updated today. Welp, time to do some buying lol.
Meanwhile in Europe
@Nintendo_Ninja: Not that I'm trying to tempt your wallet further (same problem here, lol), but both Link's Awakening and Minish Cap are excellent games. I just recently finished Minish Cap on my GBA, and it's up there with my favorite Zelda games at this point. For that price if you don't already own Link's Awakening, I'd recommend picking it up.
@dronesplitter: I see. Thanks for looking that up for this busy person!
Not very exciting, I'd say.
Maybe Mario & Luigi Dream Team? Iunno...I still haven't finished Paper Jam that I got in another eshop sale. Dream Team has more character and originality, though, doesn't it? All games before Paper Jam had their own unique worlds until Paper Jam used the Super Mario-themed world, it seems. I preferred that better than Paper Jam's world, TBH.
That is an amazing price for Mega Man Legacy
Fire Emblem: Awakening for $20 is a steal. If you haven't played this game, you owe it to yourself to get it! This is among by favorite games on the 3DS along with Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D Land, Pokémon Sun and Moon, and Kirby Robobot and Mario Kart 7. Another standout deal here for me is Mega Man Legacy Collecion for $7.49 (beware that Mega Man is very challenging before buying!).
Lotta good deals, unfortunately I've got most of them already. If you haven't, for some reason, played Awakening, and have the SD card space for it, go get it.
Not bad, but outside of SNES VC titles, I think I'm done buying new games for the 3DS. Need to save up some money and grab the Switch down the line.
Mark-downs for both Jotun and Don't Starve are very decent on Wii U. Downloadable Wii games are also nicely represented with sweet discounts to Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Kirby's Return to Dreamland.
Considering Mega Man Legacy on 3DS, but nothing else (that I don't already own) is very appealing. A real shame that Xenoblade Chronicles has never been discounted in North America outside of lame Club Nintendo offers; I think this is the only region where it hasn't had a normal sale so far.
Hope Europe is the same
Always glad to see a sale, but it is pale in comparison to what PSN is offering.
Don't have a whole lot of money to spend at the moment, but I may get Don't Starve. A friend got me into Don't Starve Together on Steam and I would like to play on the TV
... wow these are horrible. More so compared to PSN'S black Friday week sale
I'd get 7th Dragon III Code but $40.99 isn't that good of a deal and I'm trying to save my money for two black New 3DSes so I will not be getting anything. Maybe they will have better sales at Christmas?
Don't Starve:Giants Edition here I come. I have it on Vita and PS4, but at that price I'm definitely getting it on Wii U just for Gamepad item management 👍
Compared to MS and Sony flash deals. Nintendo sales really do suck!!
If anyone has yet to play Fire Emblem Awakening, you owe it to yourself and your 3DS to buy it while it is priced as it is. For $20, you get a masterpiece of an RPG and one of the best, if not the best, 3DS game ever. I've sunk over 500 hours into Awakening and I rarely do that for a video game. It is truly an experience one cannot miss, especially if you're new to the series.
Fire Emblem Awakening is not a game one should miss, whether you're into RPG's or not, you certainly will be after playing it.
Giant No. 2(Mighty No. 9) for 10 bucks? Ehhhhhhhhhhh...
Fast Racing is the gem.
No WiiU Hyrule Warriors sale? #mantears
Who cares about this crap, when Splashy Duck is on sale!
I'd love for SMT Apocalypse to come on sale, still have yet to get it and $64.99 plus tax is too much.
Azure games for me that is ! Saving $6.50 is better than nothing
Nothing for me this year, sadly...
Compared to what I bought on PSN the last few weeks, these sales kinda suck. But it's pretty much the norm for Nintendi sales, and i'm used to it by now. Not getting anything, and saving up for the Switch.
@Oscarzxn: Excellent! I was a SWE1R nut for a couple of years and posted some sick times, but still felt unprepared for FAST Racing NEO. Anyway, enjoy!!
I think I'll be snagging Return to Dreamland.
those discounts suck
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy Be warned; Dream Team has a moment where, instead of going where the game tells you you need to go, the game sends you somewhere else to find someone to help you get there. It feels like a slog finding him, too. I had fun with the rest of the game, but this part made me put the game down and play something else for a while.
@Jumpman I initially had several paragraphs explaining why you should purchase both, but alas, I couldn't post it. ;-; However, I'll summarize what I said in a single paragraph. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing both games. They're indeed essential games for ant 3DS owner, be they into RPG's not. In my personal opinion, and after extensively playing both Awakening and Fates for hundreds upon hundreds of hours, both games are RPG masterpieces! From the gorgeous musical score to the anime styled characters to the deep, complex and very addicting gameplay, these games truly are my favourite games of all time. And I don't say that lightly given I have played hundreds of RPG's since I first started to play video games in 1994.
So yes, purchase both as I guarantee you shall not be disappointed. And play either game first, it really doesn't matter too much. But I would recommend playing Birthright first out of the three Fate campaigns.
Good luck and have fun!
I really want Skyward Sword, but it is not on the list of discount game?
The EU cyber deals just popped up on my Gamepad, they are pitiful.4 games and 2 MyNintendo discounts. That's our lot.I had hoped for Twilight Princess and I got my wish but it's only 30% off.
Nothing that I want, should've known...
SEGA does what Nintendon´t.
Sega put discounts this monday in all Sonic games in Wii U and 3DS and nobody say nothing.
Picked up SteamWorld: Heist today.
I'm so glad it has multiple difficulty levels, I'll probably end up playing it game again.
@Tyranexx @Jumpman
You guys are right, I might as well get it now.
Some really great deals, though the ones I want I already have .
@Nin10doh
you probably dont even have to be that wishful its coming as hard as it can
Guys, in case you do not know, Axiom Verge is only $9.99 on steam PC.
You guys forgot "Kirby's Star Stacker" for 3DS.
Downloading "Kirby's Return to Dream Land" now. Should be fun with pals.
@Lucina I 100% agree. Currently playing it right now. enjoying it so much! Can't decide if I like fates, or awakening better.
I would still rather have the cartridge versions of these games than download them. Most of them you can get at those prices already if you shop around for the cartridge
def recommend freedom planet to anyone with wii-u, especially for 50% off. fave indie game this gen, LOVE THE MUSIC!
Wasn't keen on buying Twilight Princess HD at full price when I already had the original, but this is tempting. It would be nice to play while waiting on Breath of the Wild.
I would think Nintendo would be discounting Wii U games like crazy since the Wii U is getting replaced soon, but I guess I was wrong.
Virtue's last reward is the best game in this sale.
I would really like to find Starfox 64 3D on sale. Nintendo never seems to want to ease up on the price of that one, even though its nearly 4 years old.
IMO, the Gunvolt games are awesome platformers, and Fire Emblem Awakening and 7th Dragon are both fantastic RPGs.
I'd definitely recommend those games if you like those genres. They even have demos to try out if you aren't sure. Awakening is easily the best deal for half-off, though.
It's worth noting that Project X Zone 2 can typically be found physically for $20 at retail/online. If you prefer physical copies, don't jump on this particular price drop.
I'm hoping for more VC other than SNES I mean really it's so obviously a cash grab at this point or else they would've continued with NES and Gameboy VC to make up for it.
@gaby_gabito Ay, don't ignore ORAS and Triple Deluxe just because they have sequels!
@xPH03N1Xx86 agreed, that's what i was looking for.
Lots of stuff happening in EU right now, all of it terrible, but nothing showing up on the news page here.
In addition to the awful Cyber Monday eshop deals (decent titles, okay discounts but starting prices so high the discounts are worthless) myNintendo just updated with a few spend 50 Gold to get a GIANT 10% off a launch title or two.
When do the euro deals go live?
Good list. Hoping for great european deals. Could be any moment now...?
Wow, actual deals from NOA! Reggie must be on vacation.
Some of these sales are actually good. (Virtue's Last Reward for $12.50? And Monster Hunter Generations for $24 already?)
...But it's still not nearly enough. Nintendo needs to have a HUGE, nearly store wide smörgåsbord of deep discounts to even begin to compete in the modern holiday sales digital marketplace. Take notes on the competition, and HEED THEM for the Sandwitch next year! And host another Humble Nindie Bundle while we're at it!
@PlywoodStick that humble nindie bundle is all they'll give. They would never put their own games that low.
Hm, Fast Racing Neo is the only title that's looking interesting. May spring for that.
I think I'll get Kirby Return to Dream Land. Finally, my first Kirby game!!!
@rushiosan I miss Club Nintendo. I got some cool stuff from them.
Been waiting to pick up Star Fox Zero, but not for retail. Worth it?
Also Super Mario Galaxy 2 I've never played, and for 10 bucks seems great.
And also never played Twilight Princess HD. Already downloaded Wind Waker HD on a different sale, have not played yet though. Which Zelda's would be a better use of time?
My Wii U's been unplugged since I moved a few months ago, looking for a reason to set it up to my shiny new TV.
