@Galenmereth The list I guess doesn’t, I’ve just seen a lot of hate for it elsewhere. For me it was probably my favorite indie from 2017. Of course others can have different likes, I just think it got more hate than what was really necessary.

Glad to see Sonic Mania win the eshop game. Pretty deserving, though I’m disappointed Yooka-Laylee isn’t even on here. I hate when a game becomes popular to hate online. I really enjoyed it.

I don’t have a good working pc but this looks really good. This old game deserves more love.

Getting the N64 with Super mario 64 in Christmas1996. Played the crud out of that amazing looking game with my dad. Was like stepping into the future.

Disappointing since this is one of our favorite games locally everywhere we go, but it had to end at some point. Not a bad roster I think!
Side note, for that next event, Master Mummy > Twintelle. My favorite characters vs my least favorite. I know everyone will pick her though.

Easily Mario or Zelda, but a hard choice for me between the two. I think those two games deserve the love they get. Both are awesome.

I’ve alaays loved Smash since 1999 but I’ve been a bit more casual about it in terms of how I’m used to enjoying it. It’s best with friend and and family around with items going and fun stages to play on with familiar characters in a way that everyone can have fun without having to be a super fast teaching expert. Not sure this is quite what I’m wanting personally.

Since I got this game on Black Friday, I kept trying to use video capture out of habit but it never worked of course. Then one time a week or so ago when playing versus against my wife, I try again sort of on accident and it suddenly works. Kind of a surprise to me then!

I understand they love their home country but come on. Best crap we get is very occasional limited options on old indie games on Wii U and 3DS

This game gets so much unnecessary hate. I can’t beleive how terrible some people have been with the team behind this on Twitter, reddit, etc.

I’ve been really enjoying it the last few days. Very happy to be a backer for this game and a long time fan of the team.

For Switch, Odyssey, Zelda, Splatoon 2, and Arms. Would have said Kart but Arms needs the love.

Added difficulty is a turn off but if it’s still a fun multiplayer game I’d like to get it

I suck at fighting games that aren’t Smash or Arms, but we’ve still had some fun on Street fighter in the past.... that being said, gameplay wise, aren’t they all pretty much the same thing? Maybe I just don’t get the fighting game thing so well. To me they’ve always felt like $20 games or so at most (even back in the SNES days) not $50 or $60

Needs more Shovel Knight and Yooka.
What got me into Smash back in 1999 was the familiar characters, and I love the games to this day.
Honestly though, seems like a fun alternative

These are great. Losing Banjo-Kazooie to Microsoft (and Rare in general) is still some of the worst gaming news I can ever remember.

Always happy for more local multiplayer options. I’d never even try this online. Co-Op has been fun and this should be interesting. Very cool that it is free too.

Wow that’s a lot for Switch! Great to see! I wish that 80s Overdrive Game was on there though. Can’t say I’m into cartoon characters so I’m not so sure about that puzzle game. (Joking a bit, but I’m honestly not a huge puzzle game guy anyway)

As long as it’s not too frustrating, I’m game. I’ve enjoyed what I have played of the series for the most part, but I usually quit part way through in frustration. Maybe I’m just losing my patience.

To the convo that says no one uses motion controls in Punch Out, I won a tournament for that game using motion locally here in Charleston WV... I mean like 4 people showed up but....

Not my favorite characters, but I’ll join in the fun again with my wife on co-op. I may go with MinMin just because Mr Grabs-a-lot here is annoying to fight. My wife with probably be Lola Pop no matter what.

Figures are way too expensive for me and I don’t have a nice place to put them anyway, but I had the money for just one (and couldn’t spend it on something else) it would probably be a Banjo one. Still disappointed to this day that the series is no longer on Nintendo systems.

We pull that game out sometimes for 10 minutes or so with family, but Mario Kart, Arms, and Bomberman always end up being the stars. Just played Arms with family again last night.
