I’m always weirded out by the people who seem to have a crush on these fictional, half squid, cartoon characters. At least their 18 and 21 and not like 13 I guess... trying to make a positive here.

Mostly enjoyed the original. X was too complicated for me though. 2 looks like it’s pretty complicated as well in its own right to me, and going even deeper into anime territory is a big turn off for me. I wanted to really like this series but maybe it’s just not for me. That being said there is still a small side of me that would like to give this a chance, but not a $60 chance.

He is a miserable boss fight but fun to play as mostly. Went trough GP with him this morning.

My wife and I pick it up on and off a decent bit really. I’m not a big online guy but we get a lot of play out of local multiplayer and do-op (local meaning on the same console). A few family members really enjoy it as well. Needs more love.

The hardest one is easily the latest one. Odyssey and BotW are both amazing in their own ways.

Woot! Played as Spring man all the way to level 25... but was just getting tired of it all after a while. Only winning maybe 40 percent of the time after over 50 hours of total game time can be frustrating. Either I suck, or these people do nothing else then study this video game all day.

Would love to, but some idiot won’t stop trying to log into my Apple ID in some unheard of country and now it’s disabled. Once this stupid thief is taken care of maybe I’ll be allowed to join you all.

Out of all of the games I don’t understand why they put them on 3DS instead of Switch, this one is the craziest. I want to play this will all of my family and friends. Not on my aging little handheld with maybe one other person that happens to have a 3DS. Makes no sense

Probably finally getting the last 15 or so moons in Odyssey. Maybe. I never wanted it to end. Also going to at least finish the story in Sonic Forces.
Besides that, Splatfest tomorrow, and I’ll try to get in more Arms and Bomberman with my wife.

Very cool. I still can’t decide between Mario and Zelda on what to vote for in the Game Awards, but it seems most fans (online anyway) are going with Zelda.
As for handheld this year, Metroid Samus Returns, hands down.

Actually going with this over Xenoblade 2. It’s not often I’d go with the “less Nintendo” option, but I may actually be able to fully understand the systems of this one, and no anime.

As a Sonic fan, I’m glad Sega isn’t quite like Nintendo when it comes to low sales in Japan. If a series did that bad in Japan for Nintendo, you’d almost never hear from it again.

I’m close to beating it, and I don’t think Sonic is near as terrible as some seem to think. I’ve had fun.... though there have been about two spots in Modern Sonic levels that are pretty poorly designed, leading to constant death after death.

I have no idea who most of these characters are, but always cool to have new options. Glad I got this with Zelda at launch.

Good team. Might not be Pixar but Illumination does good, fun work usually. I’m just glad it’s not an anime.

I want Runbow again for more multiplayer fun, but I’d love to have Pirate Pop Plus back as well. Love that one.

It was handy sometimes to share game moments with people, but it was the worst moderated place I have ever seen almost. The Smash Bros stage was basically rated R most of the time, yet when I mention adding me on the Switch or have a small give away to my followers a while back a moderator shut me down in minutes.

That reminds me, where are all of these first party arcade games? Still jus Mario Bros.

I still don't know why they want to keep putting multiplayer focused games on 3DS instead of Switch, especially for Mario Party soon. Wanted to actually play with friends and family.

@shani Honestly, I think at this point they need to do something. Why not give a good, trusted other group have a go at it? Mania turned out awesome. A bit of a different situation but still. They can't be satisfied with themselves

@Yorumi Freedom Planet is pretty good. The story and voices are pretty terrible just in my opinion, but some think the same with Sonic anyway

I'm still ready for them to go back to the Adventure 1 and 2 style games when it comes to physics, the speed (and lack of a boost button), the various missions instead of finding red rings by luck pretty much, a chao garden, multiple characters that I though were all fun to use (well, Big was a little bit of a pain...) and a story that, while cheesy, didn't make me feel like I was 4.

Looks like a cool one. I hope we get a tiki like character or something.

I loved Galaxy but definitely Odyssey a bit more. It is a joy to play.

@timson72 That's a pretty big reason why I use handheld from time to time if it is a single player game. Even with those though, my wife and our little girl enjoy watching Zelda and now Mario at times. Definitely handy to have handheld as an option though with a family.

I only use handheld when I have to. Sort of takes away some of the epicness, being able to share moments and being able to play multiplayer when you're hunched over the system in handheld mode.

The game feels good I think, but yeah, not sure why anyone thought 1 minute was a good idea. Of course I still don't know why never brining chao back seems like a good idea.

The only good sale is Snake Pass, which I've already got but it was worth it.

That is super cool, and I love the look of it, but I don't personally have $200 sitting around to get another system I already own just for another look unfortunately.
Also, I love Super Mario Kart, but why a multiplayer focused game when the multiplayer doesn't even work on the 3DS version?

Did they really need to give better items to anyone? How about turning down the amount of times lightning appears by like less than half of what it is now?

Does this have local multiplayer (actually on the same system with one game)?

Probably more Star Fox 2 and other SNES games when I get a chance. As for SF2, I've gotten really good at Hard mode but Expert... that didn't go so hot.
Also, Splatoon 2 for Splatfest, and probably some other multiplayer games as well with my wife and friends as we are going to be having a game night.
