@dougphisig I agree about the AI. The big world boss is super annoying too but that's another story...
When you can, maybe unlock Karaoke Bomber first. She has been useful against the bombers with her special.

So we got that trailer with several characters and stages shown off...then several weeks later we get one stage... better than nothing.
I hope that difficulty adjustment helps. The bomber AI is ridiculous. Need coins easier as well. A lot of fun to be had with the game but a decent bit of frustration

If they would have done this a few months ago, yes. Probably not now. I wish the VC would open up on Switch already.

Maybe now we'll have a bit more pure racing...with crazy items....Maybe I'm over thinking Mario Kart a bit. Ha.
All seriousness though I'm fine with this. I've enjoyed this seried a ton since the original on SNES, and always have enjoyed playing against friends and family through the years, but the super competitive stuff is just not for me.

I'd love this more than my NES Mini, but just the thought of the stock issues for this is already strssing me out.

Awesome to know our little one can have a little fun with us. Super Mario Kart was one of my first games after all.

Odd being a backer of Yooka-Laylee and being one of the few to never play it yet. It was a sucky situation the team was put in, and knowing some of how they work, I'd assume this wait is more Nintendo's fault than Playtonic, but man I am getting impatient

I only got one by taking a day off from work and showing up 2 hours before Gamestop opened. A bunch of family and friends I know wanted one but never did.
I have loved Nintendo's games and such for many years now, and probably always will, but as a company, I never have understood them.

Strategy guides for games that have been out for years now and crappy discounts for VC games on Wii U. Good games but 20 percent off an 8 dollar game that you have to download on the previous console? Really?

Most wanted...a good local multiplayer mode (On one Switch) for Splatoon. That was my wife and I's biggest complaint in the first game.

I'd like to hear Yooka-Laylee's release date, and that Disney Afternoon Collection (WHY IS THIS ON EVERYTHING BUT A NINTENDO CONSOLE) and FFVII Remake is coming to Switch, though I highly doubt any if that.
Interested to see if the direct sells me on Arms a bit more. I was iffy on Splatoon before it came out then loved it when I tried that first testfire before it's release. Maybe this will be similar.

The way I see it (not that everyone else has to) is that I'm buying a game for a second time for full price, but with a new battle mode, a few new characters and car parts, handheld mode, and a few other smaller things. That all being said I know my wife and I along with friends and family will get a ton of hours out of this game once again, and it's nice knowing I won't have to drag the Wii U around or even hook it up again just to play some Mario Kart 8 with everybody.

Any idea exactly when?

I kind of wish it was an awesome new Metroid game, just to watch the world burn (along with myself perhaps though).

@ThatNyteDaez It kind of depends. I can see how some wouldn't get much out of it. For myself, we've gotten over 30 hours out of it so far, so I think I've got my monies worth. A lot of local multiplayer time eith my wife, some freinds, and family is the best part. Story mode isngood, but short. Unlockables requirensome grinding unfortunately.

Good to hear. I was afraid they'd release this and never support it much. We've had some good times with local multiplayer already, and co-op. I've unlocked all 4 of the new levels in the store and 2 characters so far...but I'm kind of tured if having to grind the story mode over and over and over and over again just to be able to try to afford something. Story mode is good, but not as much the 30th time through. And the bomber fights can be super annoying, even on Beginner.

I am just not into the darker, almost distrubing theming of some of these. Kind of a big turn off.

Sucks that we have to wait but I'm still happy to be a backer. I'd rather have it on Switch than Wii U anyway. Sad to see so many kind of turn on these guys though as soon as they had to make this decision to move onto Switch.

I've really been a fan of Splatoon since the original came out, along with my wife playing from time to time. The concept of turf war itself is great, and can be a blast, but what pulls me away from it at times is the Super competitiveness of online play, which I'm usually not into. Getting shot a thousand times by a stranger gets old after a while for me. I'd prefer to see more local fun.

@MegaVel91 Well you've got a bit of a point. I don't understand all of the fuss. Seeing someone starting off a convo with saying to Get with the program and telling someone to shove it was were I felt like it wasn't even worth discussing anymore.
To me acting like it's a personal attack that they made this cartoon seemingly strictly for kids is a bit overkill, even if you're a huge fan of something. Yeah it sucks adult fans can't enjoy it (Sonic Boom is a bit off putting to me for example) but it's just a cartoon/entertainment franschise/etc.
Sorry for my own attitude a bit, but that's pretty much where I'm coming from.

Hm. Well, it may be something kids enjoy. Looks colorful and sort of Saturday morning like. I'd rather see this then some anime thay takes itself too seriously.

When i got a maxed out 5 star team and "beginner" was still too difficult at times in the areana, I almost completely have stopped playing.

Uprising is a mostly fantastic game. The ground controls are a little odd, and the difficulty gets a bit ridiculous, more thr good definitely out weighs the bad.

Noooo. I've been looking real forward to this one. Thankfully I preorded the Special Edition for Switch on Amazon back in January though

I love Disney slightly more than Nintendo. I would have loved this collection. Needless to say I'm not happy with this skipping Nintnedo systems for whatever reason, and makes me consider if I one day need one of the other consoles.

Well I was interested in this. I don't have enough money to get whatever I want, and other games may have just taken priority.

As difficult as "beginner" is in arena, it wouldn't suprise me if some losers are cheating.

That's pretty awesome, but I've beat a Link to The Past several times over the years, and honestly, I think I'm enjoying BotW more.

Show me Yooka-Laylee's release and I'll be satisfied. As a backer, it sucks not getting it when everyone else will now, but I wpuld rather have it on the Switch than Wii U anyway
