Wow…we went from being in the dark for so long and now getting so many answers! I dont want to complain about anything else for the rest of the year cause with DKCTF, MK8, Shovel Knight, Pushmo World, Armillo, Teslagrad, Scram Kitty, Hyrule warriors, Bayonetta 1 & 2, Smash & Capt Toad this year is just incredible for Gamers!!!!
Im sure i sound like a broken record now but i think having a Direct to answer all our Amiibo needs would be great! How will it work in MK8 and Captain Toad? Sure they're incredibly awesome but what else will these magical figures do?

I bought a physical copy for my son but i downloaded mine…ive said this before and i'll say it again Smash on the go is freaking AWESOME! But that does not compare to Smash at home with my gamecube controller…oh yeah…but i still want an Amiibo Direct because its uses in smash seem very limited to me. How will it work with other games?

Im mostly excited for Bayonetta 2, then Captain Toad and then SSB WiiU…regardless of the order im getting all three. Smash is great but doesnt come before my Cereza. As for the amiibos they look nice but if Nintendo doesnt do a direct to better explain how they will work on the games coming out then there's no real reason for me to be excited. Plus im curious why are they waitin so long to give release dates and advertise…im excited for quality games but am concerned about their consumer advertisement for those parents who arent aware of these great options Nintendo is goin to have this holiday season

Amiibos arent even released yet so advertising its features at this particular moment isnt as important as sending out the message that smash on the go is freaking awesome! Long commute? Waiting on a line? Have some time to kill? Then take out ur 3DS and SMASH!!! Again not to say we dont need that information at all…but at this moment in time we really dont.
Now when the OFFICIAL release date is finally given for SSB WiiU version i'll be there beside u leading the charge because i expect SSB WiiU version to get its own Direct because THATS the game that they're banking on to persuade us to buy Amiibos for (aside from the great quality crafted figures which is hard for some including myself to resist). We definitely without a question need more information about amiibos THEN but do we really need it right now when they even havent released the main game that will fully utilize them…no. Plus im sure everyone right now is coming to the conclusion that the 3DS version is an appetizer for that delicious main course that we're all so anxiously waiting for! plus the current 3DS will need that little adapter NFC reader to even utilize the amiibos since they're not releasing the "new" 3DS until next year. So is Nintendo's gamble on releasing the 3DS version first working?…i was at the smash event last night with my son and i would have to say absolutely! This version only makes ur mouth water at the possibilities that the WiiU version is going to bring…excuse me the DEFINITIVE version is goin to bring LOL!
And as for the 3DS as a WiiU controller well i guess from what we know its to bring those that dont have a WiiU easy access and transition to the console version. Plus not everyone is really about the plugged in gamecube controllers so u dont need an adapter for the 3DS. It connects wirelessly just like playing MH3U co-op. my son always played on the WiiU and i played on my 3DS without any problems so the connection sync is great! I believe the gamecube adapter for the WiiU is for those who prefer the GC controller or play competitively (to decrease the likelihood of input lag). But i have a feeling that there's so much more they're not telling us on how they will connect which to me is fine because i love surprises.

As a longtime Starfox fan this stage is simply awesome! I want a new Starfox game so bad but im willing to wait so they can do it right…these pics get me so excited!!! So are we ever getting a release date for SSB WiiU Nintendo?!

@rjejr I concur my friend sometimes i forget how much research i actually do before hand…and how others may not have that information on hand. Also thats true about miiverse i sometimes try to scroll through to read others opinions or help some find out where the new Club Nintendo codes are hidden LOL!!! But i also appreciate having so many people ready to help me when im stuck…im really surprised how much i ended up liking miiverse eapecially the Art Academy both my son and i are blown away by some drawings…and all that created with the gamepad…amazing!
@rjejr Your absolutely right i had to look up what those packs entail before i bought the season pass as we've spoken about before. They definitely need to better communicate the details of this season pass especially in the eshop and im sure more people would be inclined to purchase it up front instead of waiting and missing out on the season pass altogether.

Update is kinda nice i was actually getting worried i wasn't going to have enough room for the rest of the indie games coming out this year but now with the folders…there's…ummm…just so much space now…i wonder if we're going to be able to customize our home screen like the New 3DS?? I got this the first week it came out and it's a lot of fun but not enough people are online playing it and when they are matches aren't set up properly and can become frustrating. Still over all once u get a good strategy down those victories are very satisfying.

But seriously like i said about the MK8 DLC im investing in those 16 new tracks and in Hyrule Warriors those adventure maps by themselves are definitely worth it! But why dont u play some of the adventure mode and see how u like it and that should help ur decision on whether this season pass is for u

Bayo 1 in its 1st week ( to which it was ALSO available for 4 days) sold in Japan 64K on X360 which had an install base of around 1 million and with TOTAL lifetime sales of 90K.
Now Bayo2 in its first week ( to which it was available for 1 DAY…yup just 1 day) sold in Japan 38K on the WiiU which has an install base of 1.9 million or that it sold about 68% of its initial shipment.
Hmmm do u also realize that Platinum games usually sell better on the West than in their own Japan? Why dont we wait judging Bayo2 until the end of this year or better yet when its LIFETIME sales are out? Did u realize that Bayo2 in JAPAN out sold Infamous 2nd son 36K? But that shouldnt matter b/c it sells well in the West right?

November 2014 - 1 new character, 1 new weapon, new adventure map, 2 new costumes. January 2015 - 2 new characters, New adventure map & 3 new costumes. February 2015 - 2 New game modes.
If im not mistaken the adventure map in itself is huge and has a ridiculous amount of replay value and we're getting 3 as part of the Season pass which in my humble opinion i worth it alone! But u could wait to get it separate i remember how u felt about all the glorious Yoshi skins LOL also i believe i gave ur comment a yeah on miiverse when u asked about registering this on club nintendo im sure u could tell which was my comment LOL either way my friend this is a season pass im absolutely going to support!

@rjejr the Hero Pack is the DLC (season pass) that's available in the eshop to buy. The other DLC like ganon costumes or pre-order DLC u can just enter the download code at the eshop home screen……overall this is sum sweet DLC! Now all we need is the SSB WiiU & Captain Toad release dates right LOL!

This bundle has been available on Amazon since the announced the GC adapter the only difference now is that they have a pretty nice picture.

All i keep hearing from my son is how this is going to be the best Pokemon game ever and all because Treeco is in it. I also had to import a Treeco plush last year from Japan…we really live in a Pokemon world LOL!

@Peach64 i think we can both agree that any great game that doesnt sell great is a great travesty especially since people are swarming over incomplete games like Destiny or any other game that pretty much will sell u DLC that shouldve been there to begin with. We are to blame because we support that and not great games packed with content unfortunately. Well this is a surprise review out of the blue…so um is it Oct 24th yet??? Good review. Lately ive been replaying a lot W101 to get my Platinum fix until Bayo2 & 1 come out but also with a side of Xenoblade ive been able to wait as patiently as i can LOL!
@sinalefa no worries friend go to something.com they have the W101 sdtk for regular PC downloads. 2 albums $9.99 each. first album has 62 tracks 2nd album has 65 tracks both albums have Won-stoppable Wonderful 101 so if by chance u dont want both which im sure u will u will have the wonderful anthem! @rjejr i agree completely if Captain Toad does release this year i will delay my Bayonetta 2 sdtk purchase in order to support the good Captain but as for WatchDogs…Ubisoft is going to have to work hard for me to support them and unforutnately i dont see that in the future.

My son has been playing the SSB demo nonstop thanks to a generous friend but surprisingly im ok with playing it once and awhile watching his face when he unwrapped the demo was good enough for me LOL! @rjejr dont get me wrong i appreciate demos but they way they handled the SSB 3ds early demo to platinum members was hectic to say the least. Genius marketing but it also made many fans restless. My son told me we need to learn Japanese so we could just get a Japanese 3ds and get all the games early because they always get the good stuff LOL! My son's list is already done which includes both SSB and Pokemon games so anything else would just be extra but as for myself Bayo2 and the Bayo2 soundtrack is my gift to myself…oh and Captain Toad cuz seriously how could i say no after seeing those awesome levels in the treehouse stream last friday oh and of course the doggy paddle…

Now when the OFFICIAL release date is finally given for SSB WiiU version i'll be there beside u leading the charge because i expect SSB WiiU version to get its own Direct because THATS the game that they're banking on to persuade us to buy Amiibos for (aside from the great quality crafted figures which is hard for some including myself to resist). We definitely without a question need more information about amiibos THEN but do we really need it right now when they even havent released the main game that will fully utilize them…no. Plus im sure everyone right now is coming to the conclusion that the 3DS version is an appetizer for that delicious main course that we're all so anxiously waiting for! plus the current 3DS will need that little adapter NFC reader to even utilize the amiibos since they're not releasing the "new" 3DS until next year. So is Nintendo's gamble on releasing the 3DS version first working?…i was at the smash event last night with my son and i would have to say absolutely! This version only makes ur mouth water at the possibilities that the WiiU version is going to bring…excuse me the DEFINITIVE version is goin to bring LOL!
And as for the 3DS as a WiiU controller well i guess from what we know its to bring those that dont have a WiiU easy access and transition to the console version. Plus not everyone is really about the plugged in gamecube controllers so u dont need an adapter for the 3DS. It connects wirelessly just like playing MH3U co-op. my son always played on the WiiU and i played on my 3DS without any problems so the connection sync is great! I believe the gamecube adapter for the WiiU is for those who prefer the GC controller or play competitively (to decrease the likelihood of input lag). But i have a feeling that there's so much more they're not telling us on how they will connect which to me is fine because i love surprises.

Also thats true about miiverse i sometimes try to scroll through to read others opinions or help some find out where the new Club Nintendo codes are hidden LOL!!! But i also appreciate having so many people ready to help me when im stuck…im really surprised how much i ended up liking miiverse eapecially the Art Academy both my son and i are blown away by some drawings…and all that created with the gamepad…amazing!

@rjejr Your absolutely right i had to look up what those packs entail before i bought the season pass as we've spoken about before. They definitely need to better communicate the details of this season pass especially in the eshop and im sure more people would be inclined to purchase it up front instead of waiting and missing out on the season pass altogether.

If u click on it it will break it down for u. As for the DLC…well i believe any DLC is pretty much a gamble that the player takes trusting that the developer will give them more quality content thats similar to the final product that was delivered. Since Nintendo is a part of this i feel that that this DLC will deliver besides kinda like the glorious Yoshi colors that u loved so much soon you'll have the exquiste Epona to calm ur fears LOL! But seriously like i said about the MK8 DLC im investing in those 16 new tracks and in Hyrule Warriors those adventure maps by themselves are definitely worth it! But why dont u play some of the adventure mode and see how u like it and that should help ur decision on whether this season pass is for u

Bayo 1 in its 1st week ( to which it was ALSO available for 4 days) sold in Japan 64K on X360 which had an install base of around 1 million and with TOTAL lifetime sales of 90K.
Now Bayo2 in its first week ( to which it was available for 1 DAY…yup just 1 day) sold in Japan 38K on the WiiU which has an install base of 1.9 million or that it sold about 68% of its initial shipment.
Hmmm do u also realize that Platinum games usually sell better on the West than in their own Japan? Why dont we wait judging Bayo2 until the end of this year or better yet when its LIFETIME sales are out? Did u realize that Bayo2 in JAPAN out sold Infamous 2nd son 36K? But that shouldnt matter b/c it sells well in the West right?

November 2014 - 1 new character, 1 new weapon, new adventure map, 2 new costumes. January 2015 - 2 new characters, New adventure map & 3 new costumes. February 2015 - 2 New game modes.
If im not mistaken the adventure map in itself is huge and has a ridiculous amount of replay value and we're getting 3 as part of the Season pass which in my humble opinion i worth it alone! @rjejr the Hero Pack is the DLC (season pass) that's available in the eshop to buy. The other DLC like ganon costumes or pre-order DLC u can just enter the download code at the eshop home screen……overall this is sum sweet DLC! Now all we need is the SSB WiiU & Captain Toad release dates right LOL!

@Peach64 i think we can both agree that any great game that doesnt sell great is a great travesty especially since people are swarming over incomplete games like Destiny or any other game that pretty much will sell u DLC that shouldve been there to begin with. We are to blame because we support that and not great games packed with content unfortunately. But i also cant help but laugh because what im sure u consider "hardcore gamers" is in actual fact the NEW casual gamers now and days…buy the console or consoles where u can enjoy a plethora of games…and i mean different genres not just the same old stuff over and over again but sadly that perspective is also frowned upon…hardcore gamers is a silly term we all play games but it is unfortunate that these NEW casual gamers prefer quantity over quality

@sinalefa no worries friend go to something.com they have the W101 sdtk for regular PC downloads. 2 albums $9.99 each. first album has 62 tracks 2nd album has 65 tracks both albums have Won-stoppable Wonderful 101 so if by chance u dont want both which im sure u will u will have the wonderful anthem! @rjejr dont get me wrong i appreciate demos but they way they handled the SSB 3ds early demo to platinum members was hectic to say the least. Genius marketing but it also made many fans restless. My son told me we need to learn Japanese so we could just get a Japanese 3ds and get all the games early because they always get the good stuff LOL! My son's list is already done which includes both SSB and Pokemon games so anything else would just be extra but as for myself Bayo2 and the Bayo2 soundtrack is my gift to myself…oh and Captain Toad cuz seriously how could i say no after seeing those awesome levels in the treehouse stream last friday oh and of course the doggy paddle…
