@Mahe i almost spit out my coffee laughing at that ambulance NICE!
@Peach64 hey be nice W101 was a flop but its damn good game probably one of the most creative games Platinum has made. Most people who've played it understand its awesomeness so spread the good word and maybe it'll get a cult following and maybe just maybe we could get a sequel in the future…dont say it...i know like The Last Guardian its just a gamers wishful thinking (tear drop tear drop)
Personally i dont care for Mii's in the game but im glad its out there as an OPTION for those that do want to use them.
Why get upset if u do face off with a Mii just pick Little Mac and…oh yeah that K.O. never felt better. Besides if u lose it just means u suck and have to train more. My 8 year old son and i played the SSB demo this past saturday and he destroyed 3 grown men including myself…sure they lost their pride but smash is fun and makes u want to get better
Sorry i couldnt control myself…i watched all these live and honestly the amount of information i got by watching the Treehouse Live was surprisingly awesome. Initially i thought they might be boring but i learned so much more about the games plus like Bayonetta 2 getting 1st time revealed information about the mech and hot/cold weapons…i just want to buy them all.
Devil's Third does look like it needs to be polished a bit but the gameplay is really good mix of shooting and melee! Plus te ridiculous amount of customization online made me speechless. Im definitely buying this game u can tell they really pit alot of effort into it trying to make something new…i respect that alot
And this is why i disagree with Oli Welsh of Eurogamer Miyamoto is not the problem at Nintendo in fact he's nurturing the future…the companies and the gamers…which we can all read about at Nintendo also hosting a Kids Event at E3. Those pictures those smiles…im proud to share this world of gaming with my son.
Im not against VR but am curious to see where it can grow because we all need change to evolve…this is a great time for gamers
My son is wants that Penguin Mario so bad! And maybe im biased but every Yoshi toy to me is awesome.
Hmmmm makes me wonder whats going to happen when they release their "Amiibo" line up? The possibilities make me wonder if Nintendo really kicked themselves for initially turning down The Skylanders idea at the beginning
@Peach64 That's a good point and it wouldnt surprise me that those numbers make up the uninformed consumer since unfortunately Nintendo hasn't truly made it clear that the Wii U aside from being a new console also has backwards compatibility. Funny i still have a backlog that helps me during droughts or new release dry spells. But still business aside this hurts the potential of the future customers who already own a Wii U. Sure out of the three its second but one shouldnt burn their bridges IMO
@Peach64 wow u r absolutely correct hell EA should release FIFA on the GBA or better yet the SNES cuz tthey have 2 things in common the install base was huge and it has no online features.…yay logic!
@LazyShell i know right but ur points on the Wii no longer having online i didnt even consider…EA really needs to wake up even though more people have a Wii FIFA is best online…this is just sounding more and more ridiculous
@Rin-go good point yeah i read that too but still once Bayonetta 2 was announced as an exclusive the internet flipped which im sure inspired this decision for the fans who havent played it or played the buggy version.
Honestly i wouldve payed extra for a special limited edition which had both retail copies…being free now…i can't really complain
My biggest concern is the lack of big releases from May MK8 up to Sept Hyrule Warriors. Sure we have some great indie games releasing in between but will it be enough to keep up the sales momentum? Should MK8 shoulder that? Or maybe it would be harder for other games to compete? Hard questions?
This article serves as a good point and perspective from a developers but it's difficult to make a choice because we're not in their position as a business.
As for the troll in the comments…the moment i respond i feel like i lost…and yet if i dont educate the stupidity its can be frustrating…what a catch 22…
This news much like it's negative comments is no surprise since we know where EA stands and we know the Wii U sales records…
As a business decision this makes sense whether u agree or not the numbers dont lie but they also dont tell the whole picture. Who expects Mass Effect 3 to sell well on the Wii U when they announce the Mass effect trilogy a few months later for everything but the Wii U…seriously thats just STUPID
Or a gimped Madden version…really?
The only good game EA released for the Wii U is NFS:MW
As a company EA seems to have given up on Nintendo fans regardless of the Wii U bad sales because when their sales increase and are no longer ridiculed im absolutely not buying their games
Hmmm honestly i would prefer a separate disc for the original Bayonetta because im old school i prefer retail as opposed to digital but i can't really complain because of two things:
1) Nintendo & Platinum actually listened and gave us the original! 2) IT'S FREE!!!!
So i will shut up and whine in a corner because Japan always gets the cool stuff. I would pay extra for the cool stuff NINTENDO!!!!!
@JaxonH there's no need for such violence towards our wallets my friend if Luigi has taught us anything this year is that the "death stare" will more than suffice
Ok...sorry but im just going to call it now…Zelda U will be DELAYED to 2016 but in an effort to help fans wait patiently Nintendo will release Majora's Mask 3D for the 3DS in 2015…
Personally i dont mind waiting because I want all my Zelda games given the Miyamoto thumbs up no matter how long it takes but MM on the 3DS would make my wait a whole lot better!!!
@sinalefa Absolutely!!! And good point about Monolith working with them…Xenoblade open world…im getting excited all over again! Excuse me im going to watch the Zelda U trailer again
@JaxonH you make some good points that's probably how Nintendo is hoping to get the non-designing gamers like us onboard…or maybe after playing enough levels actually be inspired to create one ourselves.
Still maybe Nintendo has made my standards too high with their quality games that i can only imagine that there's more to this game then designing levels or maybe more tools to truly create the mario levels that we've all imagined…not just difficulty like Lost Levels but insanity like Champions Road…
Either way im very interested to learn what else they have up their sleeves for this game and hope they allow or find an awesome 2 player co-op mode but regardless my wallet is crying in 2015
I agree the concept is awesome but if im not into designing levels how will keep me interested? Unless the constant challenge testing my platforming skills but i have DKCTF for that…
I need to know more details of what this game will offer before i consider if its something i would want to purchase at full price.
@sinalefa LMAO! This reminds of the SSB4 roundtable the press had w/ Sakurai and someone asked if they could beat Sakurai then could they help balance the game in which Sakurai replied "have u ever created a video game" (ooooohhhh and the crowd cheered)
If each Zelda game didnt change then it wouldnt evolve or be the Legendary franchise we all know, respect, admire and of course love to hate…this will forever be the Zelda cycle which is why Zelda games can only be compared to other Zelda games.
Sure the expectation is high and the pressure is ridiculous but regardless im confident that Miyamoto, Aonuma & the rest of Zelda team is going to blow our minds and regardless of the people whining about Skyward Sword motion controls guess u guys fall into the gamespot category and dont know how to play the game…sad because its truly one of the best video game experiences that we as gamers have ever had. Since i first played the Capt Toad level in SM3DW i thought to myself this is pretty kool i actually wouldnt mind more of these levels…maybe even its own game…
But a full game based on Capt Toad would have to offer more than just clever puzzles & designs to merit a full retail release especially full retail price.
Like when SM3DW was introduced last E3 everyone didnt really feel the magic until they finally got their hands on the finished product. I believe there's more to Capt Toad then meets the eye and Nintendo is holding back something whether its multiplayer or a new dynamic to Capt Toad which we haven't seen yet. But thats jus my assumption and we all know what happens when people assume things right?
Regardless im looking forward to how Capt Toad first game will end up and wonder if this might be the beginning of a new franchise that will find its way into the greats or dare i say Smash????
@Burning_Spear my sentiments exactly! It's the true sequel that the fans of the original have been waiting for and deserve.
@rjejr guess u never visited Funky's Shop in DKCTF huh? Or kept collecting bananas until u reached 100? Or banana coins or entered any of the secret stages…hmmm maybe Super Kong was meant for you. A challenging game shouldnt be treated so harshly for the challenge it presents.
My 8 year old son and i had a blast with the challenges DKCTF threw at us in fact he figured out the strategy to beat Lord Freddrick before i did but then again he did beat Super Metroid at the age of 7 so i guess we jus appreciate the games for what they are…great games
@Rafie i concur taking a poll about the winner of E3 on a Nintendo site seems a bit superfluous but then again there are a few of us that can actually take a step back and look at the whole picture and see how gamers in general truly won this year still in the end the polls entertainment value is going to be high! LOL!
Choosing a winner ends up being purely subjective no matter how objective you make it sound. So even though gamers won in the end in my biased opinion i voted for Nintendo because that's just me
Overall i was very happy with Nintendo's Digital Event…honestly the mii fighter and amiibo didnt really interest me but i can see the potential there.
But as for all the games…YES! Every game showed is going to be a day one buy for me! After 3D World i always thought that if they made a game of Captain Toad i would buy it…then Zelda…the moment he snapped his fingers…yeah…Bayonetta 1 & 2 coming packaged together…i still cant believe it…Splatoon honestly just looks like so much fun especially being able to launch to assist a team mate!
And i agree with Tom…it feels like there's more to come. Retro an Next Level what are you working on????
As a huge Yoshi fan im very excited but as a gamer im left a bit hurt by 3DS yoshi new island…im sincerely hoping that they add new creativity to blend with the exploration style Yoshis Island is known for
Was i the only one who thought it couldve been Metroid Prime in the beginning when Emma was logging on?
The delay sucks but this game keeps getting more and more interesting
I heard some complaining about not showing any gameplay LMAO didnt they show gameplay in the first two trailers?! Wow people just want to complain huh?
I thought it was going to be a DLC to SM3DW but as a stand alone release…NICE! I honestly really enjoyed Capt Toad and wished they would expand on this…how does Nintendo keep listening to its fans…im scared
My jaw dropped…then a few seconds later the word "whoa" came out of my mouth…
It says 2015 but i have a feeling it will be 2016 or 2017…lets be realistic what they're trying to accomplish is huge so if they need tht time im alright with that besides good things are worth waiting for
What a nice surprise. Ive been waiting to buy it since they announced it as an exclusive. Ive heard the 360 version was the best and the PS3 version was really bad but was improved with a patch. Im curious to know how the original will hold up on the Wii U also are costumes the only new thing added? I wonder…
Ive been waiting for a true sequel since Starfox64…no offense to Adventures but it just wasnt for me. Its not coming out soon but good things are worth waiting for an since ive waited this long i can wait a little longer
More games, make more use of the gamepad, more titles to the VC, Gamecube VC, and cross game voice chat.
As for games well im greedy i want them all for the Wii U Starfox, Fzero, mario galaxy, luigis mansion, a new IPs but what i truly want is a new Metroid game for the Wii U that like nintendo land has co-op features as Samus and the gunship for local and online play but still keeping true to the series which is immersive and incredible to explore!
@JQuest absolutely!!! ur reading my mind which is the reason Zelda games can ONLY be compared to past Zelda games…not to sound like a fanboy but there's no real competition. great contenders of course but one game pales in comparison to what the franchise has offered throughout all these generations…ok now i feel old…im going to go play Four Swords with my son and just randomly blow the whistle while exploring LOL!!!
@Rafie i believe i have the answer that would shut down any argument when it comes to what tracks an how many if any nintendo should release as DLC…i believe Nintendo should release NO DLC…what nintendo should do is release an HD remastered version of MK Double Dash for the gamecube VC and add online to it!!!!
No need to thank me im just glad that im not the only one who holds Double Dash as the holy grail of the series LOL! Oh and i challenge you to race me in the Double Dash Rainbow Road the mayhem would be glorious LOL!
Regardless i do understand where ur coming from and agree with ur perspective…hmm imagine if they would sell remix version of all the new tracks and during each lap the track transforms and changes?! Im goin to put in a resume at Nintendo and make this so!
Whats wrong with Sony taking the lead? Seriously this to me sounds like good healthy competition to me the only difference is the subjective spin fanboys put on it. If nintendo was the only one making games we as gamers would lose. We need the different companies to push each other to create great games and new IPs. There used to be a time where we all played games because they were fun regardless of the console…this fanboy bias attitude is whats wrong with gaming today
I had alot of fun playing it on my 3DS but they would have to show me something new in order to justify me double dipping. Great interview though i'll definitely keep my eye out for future updates
@Peach64 glad ur so focused on people who whine to you about numbers but aside from ur astute financial predictions do u even play games? I mean seriously play some video games and just enjoy them unless arguing with others really tickles ur noodle. Regardless enjoy the attention im going to play some MK8 maybe in 8 years when u supposedly get a Wii U and praise it we could race and laugh about all these childish antics
@JQuest i concur i want to be surprised. Each Zelda game is unique and stands on its own and honestly thats what keeps it fresh to me and why each one holds a special place in my gaming memories…so I just want Nintendo to do what it has always done and create something some people will love, some will hate and after a few years or should i say the next installment we can all agree that each entry has made the Zelda franchise LEGENDARY
@Rafie i agree before any new characters or modes as DLC i would want more tracks! Im probably sounding greedy but another four cups could fit on the menu but honestly anything from Double Dash would win me over especially that version of Rainbow Road!!!
But at the same time i can understand why they wouldnt…oddly enough they have always a good mix of old and new tracks an if they use all the retro tracks why will be left for the next mario kart? Maybe the fact that we want more tracks for this fun game proves that they gave us just enough...id rather wait than drown with DLC like COD.
Wait a minute it has Professor E. Gadd?! Forget it im happy Nintendo gimmie gimmie gimmie. Imagine if his horn is the Luigis Mansion theme song! Now thats just P.I.M.P.! I apologize but im a huge Luigis Mansion fan so this and a new installment on the Wii U would probably make me jump up and down in pure joy
@JaxonH my friend though our lists are slightly different i completely agree with what you wrote. Glad to know more people share this perspective or should i say see the games for games without any BS!
1) Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze 2) Mario Kart 8 3) The Wonderful 101 4) Super Mario 3D World 5) Pikmin 3 6) Wind Waker HD 7) ZombiU 8) Deus Ex Human Revolution DC 9) Rayman Legends 10) Batman Arkham City AE
And with a total of 25 games in my Wii U library im a happy camper
Im honestly surprised they haven't fired anyone after reporting all their loses. Im glad Nintendo tried to hold out as long as they could but i truly hope everyone that lost their job finds another one soon.
The concept sounds cool for "Mario maker" but honestly it doesnt really interest me kinda reminds me of when they first showed Hyrule Warriors i was like meh but then when they showed off more i was like wow i gotta get this game. Maybe this will be the same once i get more details i will get more excited but right now im jus on the regular E3 hype train

Re: Sony Overtakes Nintendo In Global Hardware Sales For The First Time In Eight Years
Whats wrong with Sony taking the lead? Seriously this to me sounds like good healthy competition to me the only difference is the subjective spin fanboys put on it. If nintendo was the only one making games we as gamers would lose. We need the different companies to push each other to create great games and new IPs. There used to be a time where we all played games because they were fun regardless of the console…this fanboy bias attitude is whats wrong with gaming today
Re: Interview: Image & Form on its SteamWorld Dig Adventure and Hopes for Wii U
I had alot of fun playing it on my 3DS but they would have to show me something new in order to justify me double dipping. Great interview though i'll definitely keep my eye out for future updates
Re: Mario Kart 8 Stays Second in UK as Tomodachi Life Has Modest Début
@Peach64 glad ur so focused on people who whine to you about numbers but aside from ur astute financial predictions do u even play games? I mean seriously play some video games and just enjoy them unless arguing with others really tickles ur noodle. Regardless enjoy the attention im going to play some MK8 maybe in 8 years when u supposedly get a Wii U and praise it we could race and laugh about all these childish antics
Re: Talking Point: The Legend of Zelda on Wii U Can Wear Many Masks
@JQuest i concur i want to be surprised. Each Zelda game is unique and stands on its own and honestly thats what keeps it fresh to me and why each one holds a special place in my gaming memories…so I just want Nintendo to do what it has always done and create something some people will love, some will hate and after a few years or should i say the next installment we can all agree that each entry has made the Zelda franchise LEGENDARY
Re: Rumour: Mario Kart 8 DLC to Feature Expanded Roster and New Battle Modes

Re: 130 Jobs To Go In Nintendo Of Europe Reshuffle
Im honestly surprised they haven't fired anyone after reporting all their loses. Im glad Nintendo tried to hold out as long as they could but i truly hope everyone that lost their job finds another one soon.

Re: Rumour: Grainy Image of "Mario Maker" and Nintendo's 2014 E3 Show Floor Emerges
