Re: Parent Trap: Amiibo Charts A Fresh Course In The Toys To Life Sector

WanderingPB

@rbmoura85 thank u for the explanation it does sound promising( especially Toon Link) but im still more curious about actually seeing its execution in the game. Maybe they'll do a more in depth demo in a Direct before its actual release...after Skylanders im a bit skeptical and would rather avoid those type of games but the great thing is u dont need to buy the amiibos in order to access those characters in the game which as a gamer and parent i truly appreciate

Re: Hands On: Bewitching Bayonetta 2 Brings Action Gaming To A Climax On Wii U

WanderingPB

@sinalefa to me that sequence was LONG!!! LOL my son was laughing telling me to look at the screen and see their faces…i took a quick look but i was having a Mortal Kombat Test Your Might flashback and i was just smashing those buttons as if there was no tomorrow! Of course in retrospect i also wanted to save the world…yup that my answer and im sticking to it LOL!

Re: Don't Fancy Sonic Boom? No Problem, The Sonic 2 HD Fan Remake Is Back On Track

WanderingPB

Wow my Sega Genesis roots are strong because even though i have this game the HD remake gets me excited…i dont know what to really expect out of Sonic Boom but at least i could always play the classics whenever i want and remember the times when our Blue Hedgehog gave Mario a run for his money…even if Sonic Boom is a disappointment im still hopeful Sonic will come back to his full glory

Re: Hands On: Bewitching Bayonetta 2 Brings Action Gaming To A Climax On Wii U

WanderingPB

@MrGawain Roger! Team Engaging Unlimited Hope!!!!

@sinalefa my friend so far ive noticed when it comes to any of ur comments about Platinum games we are on the same wave length and if i could i would "yeah" all ur posts LOL! Any form of advertisment for W101 is welcomed in my book it just makes sense ya know and i was hoping for something more than a trophy in SSB but maybe there's still hope for Bayonetta. Wonder Pink would be perfect indeed! QTE seem to be kinda on that thin line of personal preference because i like them but its nerve wrecking when u dont expect them and are trying to not mess up! Or frustrating when the sequences are just not clicking.…

Or how about the Planet Destruction form of Jergingha i swear i was stressed throughout the whole thing because every time i thought it was over he came back…very stressful but as a final Boss…Epic or how about when suddenly had to start charging up and blasting to survive…my arm went limp after pressing the button so many times and the funny part is even when i saw the credits rolling i didnt believe it was over! Its was stressful and krazy and i wouldnt have it any other way b/c once u know what u have to do its not as bad the next time around but just as fun!!! But this is also coming from a person who actually really liked Beyond Two Souls on so yeah QTE…my body is ready…i hope LMAO!

Re: Mario Kart 8 Speeds Past The Two Million Copies Sold Barrier In Less Than A Month

WanderingPB

@DiscoGentleman I hear you there's always room improvement but ive seen more frequent sales on the eshop lately so hopefully this is a sign of things to come or even having Digital versions of games released early like WindWaker HD would be awesome! Or one day having crossbuy for all the VC games buying both versions for a cheaper price than paying for them full price separately is even an incentive for me.

I personally think when Peach64 is objective its like dropping bombs on sum fanboys and i cant help but laugh and agree but when it comes to the subjective…well i guess u can say we agree to disagree LOL!

Re: Mario Kart 8 Speeds Past The Two Million Copies Sold Barrier In Less Than A Month

WanderingPB

@Peach64 my friend your objective logic is sound no disagreements from me but its when u dabble in the subjective arena that u begin to sound like a broken record.

As for third parties i see both arguments: i wouldnt buy a gimped or cheap port of a game and i also wouldnt complain about not having any 3rd party support because with those low sales numbers business-wise it makes sense not to port the game over but what does that say to the fans that are expecting the game? Long gone are the days when u could get most games on just one console besides why complain when u can just save up and buy another console the games will still be there and usually cheaper. So to complain when u have the choice is kinda silly to me or to complain about games when u don't own the console is just ridiculous

As for digital im all for digital sales and lower prices but im a retail guy but if im not mistaken Indie developers set their prices and discounts so yeah. And as for Nintendo they're starting to do more digital discounts as well so slowly we're getting there and if its not enough well at least we dont have the Playstation Now Beta prices so whoopee for that. Cross buy VC games i can understand but games like Shovel Knight have different features unique to each version plus they're developing more features again unique to each version so i think that's reasonable. But to expect discounts or request cheaper prices when u dont even support/own the console is just ignorance. You wish the games sell well but you yourself dont support them??? So its better for others to support and buy games while u just talk about it? Sounds hypocritical to me but hey what do i know im just a gamer that supports games i like and play games to have fun

Re: Hands On: Bewitching Bayonetta 2 Brings Action Gaming To A Climax On Wii U

WanderingPB

@MrGawain that's funny i posted a similar comment on the MK8 selling 2 million article. I personally wish that success for any Platinum game and hope that this will shed some well deserved lime light to the W101 and if it can boost its sales then maybe just maybe we could get a "wonderful" sequel that it truly deserves! My favorite battle though is still operation 001-C with Ohrochee…getting Pure Platinum on that was one of the best feelings ive ever felt an just cemented this as my GOTY 2013!!!

Re: Mario Kart 8 Speeds Past The Two Million Copies Sold Barrier In Less Than A Month

WanderingPB

@Peach64 sounds like the same old song and dance with u my friend…"if the Wii U had better sales figures i would buy, 3 party sales are horrible people need to support even though i wont cuz i do t have a Wii U but u should, this game got a mediocre from edge or eurogamer so its obviously meh (few months later) this game is great too bad it bombed i wouldve supported it if i had a WiiU, if digital games would count for both the wiiu & 3ds i would buy them all even though i dont own a wiiu and might not even have a 3ds but if i did nintendo wouldve made so much money…"

Do u actually play any games? There are so many great games across all consoles past and present…u should try playing them it's much more fun than singing that old song of yours…dont be ashamed be honest with yourself and just have sum fun

Re: Mario Kart 8 Speeds Past The Two Million Copies Sold Barrier In Less Than A Month

WanderingPB

Great sales numbers for a great game and sum still find a way to complain about it…that's quite amusing. Infact it's so funny im going to play some MK8 online races and curse out that group of kids from Japan that keep beating me…man i feel old but i did beat them once so that must count for something right?

My only hope is that this trend of great sales numbers for great games continues with Bayonetta 2 and maybe the W101 will find the bigger audience that it truly deserves.

Re: Bayonetta 2 Director Eager to "Nurture" the Series With Nintendo Again in the Future

WanderingPB

@sasoriobi seems like ur avatar fits ur mentality perfectly…but like Aizen underestimating Ichigo(Nintendo) shall be ur downfall…but i ain't mad at cha actually i feel sad b/c im sure in some way u actually believe that rhetoric maybe when u grow up ur perspectives will grow too…good luck buddy

@kensredemption im going to have to copy & paste ur comment because i couldn't have said any better myself. In fact i dont even bother with the whole "next gen/current gen" debate im too busy playing great games to really care just like i still go to my corner store that still has a Marvel vs Capcom arcade because regardless of how old it is i still have fun playing it! …oh and all the buttons still work so there goes all my quarters LOL!

@sinalefa i hear ya that price drop put it back on my radar but like u im waiting for those exclusives to sway my decision because honestly most of the games i want are coming out in 2015 and are multiplats but definitely will have one when Phantom Pain comes out…i must have it!!! But im still weighing my options because like u my friend i go to where the games are…im just a simple gamer playing games to have fun ya know LOL!!

Re: Bayonetta 2 Director Eager to "Nurture" the Series With Nintendo Again in the Future

WanderingPB

I want more games from Platinum period!

Also sum more teaser trailers to increase the HYPE up until it's release date would also be sweet Nintendo!

@sinalefa im with u on this too…personally i prefer PS4 but Scalebound has me reconsidering the XBone…but regardless i wish Platinum games success on whatever platform they develop for…

Remember boys and girls its all about playing great games and having fun with those experiences…console wars are truly redundant because its just stupid to miss out on such incredible games due to a self deluded bias

Re: Review: Shovel Knight (Wii U eShop)

WanderingPB

Downloading the Wii U version as soon as i get home…if its as awesome as everyone says i personally wouldnt mind double dipping and getting the 3DS version as well because being able to play a good quality on the go to me is worth it!

Re: Devil's Third Developer Discusses Its Unique Approach, and Learning From Nintendo

WanderingPB

@audiobrainiac "makes multiplayer sound like Kill Bill"…i dont think i couldve worded it better my friend!!!

This game overall sounds very fresh and interesting. its like a melting pot of the best concepts of all these violent games that were getting old and bringing back to life…im honestly impressed by the multiplayer and watchin them play it on the Treehouse Live at E3 well im very interested in this game and cant wait to see the final product!!

Re: Talking Point: New Ideas, Not New IPs, Are The Key for Nintendo

WanderingPB

I think overall its difficut to balance both…people will always want established IPs and when thy get them they will complain about not having new IPs…and when they give us new IPs people will complain they want more of an established IPs…pretty vicious cycle if u ask me.

@Peach64 Then u also have people complaining about Wii U sales numbers but don't own the console or complaining about people not supporting 3rd party on the Wii U when they themselves dont own the console. I buy a console to play games…i buy games to have fun…i could care less about reviews or sales. Sure being aware of whats going on is good but im more interested in playing good QUALITY games!

Nintendo tries to please fans and pushes different forms of gameplay which is why we have 2D Metroid & 3D Metroid and every other one of its franchises as well. People should just enjoy playing great games instead of nitpicking about things that aren't really relevant because at the end of the day after they play the game the realized it was fun…but shhhhh dont tell nobody it'll be our little secret

Re: Eiji Aonuma Hints at The Legend of Zelda on Wii U Being "More Than Just a Single-Player Experience"

WanderingPB

@aaronsullivan My friend im with u 101%!!! The possibilities are simply glorious! What if Nintendoland was really a game that tested the waters for the future games?? Very sneaky Nintendo but i like it LOL!

@JaxonH i also agree with u and not just cause ur avatar is awesome but because ur comments are always from an open minded perspective. But i believe we meant more of delving into all the gloriously rich possibilities that could come from a Zelda multi-player with gamepad awesomeness LMAO!

Like i said b4 i'd be happy with either or but im greedy and want both but am patient enough to see how they're going to implement the game pad and show us gameplay innovation like Skyward Sword or just a damn good game!

Re: Eiji Aonuma Hints at The Legend of Zelda on Wii U Being "More Than Just a Single-Player Experience"

WanderingPB

Im in a tug of war…i absolutely want my single player Zelda but my son and I love playing Four Swords together…guess it would be greedy of me to want both huh?

@sinalefa i absolutely agree LOZ in Nintendoland was a great mechanic in dividing up wiimote and gamepad and if they could allow the person controlling the gamepad only play on the gamepad so the tv screen didnt have to be split than YES!!!

Regardless making a new Zelda game that makes fans happy and innovates is an arduous task no questions asked. I dont mind, I'll patiently wait to see what great adventure the creating for us

Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Defends Wii U Prospects as Shigeru Miyamoto Highlights Nintendo's Creativity

WanderingPB

@sinalefa Unfortunately ur absolutely right my friend…quality games but no mass appeal…the gift and the curse i suppose. And yet it seems so unfair for such a talented team which probably why i always mention W101…im compelled to spread the word.
Capcom, Clover studios to Platinum games…their games speak for themselves which im glad to be a gamer. I wish them the best of luck on XB1 with Scalebound and hope that we can still get another Platinum game on the Wii U after Bayonetta 2.

Re: Video: Watch Our Handy Highlight Video To See How Nintendo Silenced Its Critics At E3 2014

WanderingPB

@absuplendous U make a good point my friend but still i wonder how long u have visited gaming websites? Every gaming website writes a variety of different articles from a variety of perspectives and when u read the comments u either laugh, concur, disagree or smack ur head at the level of peoples ignorance and stupidity…ahhh the gaming community can be jus as ridiculous as real life LOL!

Of course u dont need to agree with everything written i surely dont all the time but the title of this article clearly states "Watch Our Handy Highlight Video To See How Nintendo Silenced Its Critics At E3 2014"…what did u actually expect to see? Also if u didnt want to read another article about "nintendo winning E3" why even click it?

I dont always agree with the articles i read or videos i watch but in the end its my choice to watch it or not. Hell sometimes i cant even comment because the comment section gets so ridiculous i cant bring myself to comment but its my choice ya know. I apologize if it sounds like im arguing but i guess if u have a choice then why complain when u make one u disagree with?

Re: Video: Watch Our Handy Highlight Video To See How Nintendo Silenced Its Critics At E3 2014

WanderingPB

@absuplendous And yet u read an article specifically stating in the title Nintendo Highlight Video on a Nintendo related website and then question is why are fans happy about a presentation that silenced the negativity that has surrounded Nintendo when most "experts" had already counted Nintendo out……did u complain also when they reported the constant bad news about Nintendo? Whether its news or an opinion piece its ur choice to click it…Nintendo fans are rightfully proud of of watching their company change in the right direction and get some positive news. n4g im sure is willing to hear ur complaints about this

Re: Video: Watch Our Handy Highlight Video To See How Nintendo Silenced Its Critics At E3 2014

WanderingPB

Um ok that was a good attempt at a highlight video but how do u skip Bayonetta 2 and 1, Yoshi Woolly World, Mario Maker, Xenoblade X, and Kirby Rainbow curse?

And at least honorable mentions that project robot, project guard, Starfox and the 2D & 3D Metroid…i mean that also increased the momentum of E3

Also maybe editing the video differently so we didnt see the guy talking in the middle of the footage ur trying to highlight…just a thought

Re: Bayonetta Wii U Director Shows More of What Those Nintendo Costumes Do

WanderingPB

@sinalefa nice! you're far ahead of me my friend i havent beaten Hard mode yet but look at that werent u concerned about Champions Road awhile back? its a walk in the park compared to W101 LOL!!! ive started Hard mode but havent gotten past Pure Platinum battling Orochee the time keeps getting me and im stubborn i refuse to lose on my favorite level of the game especially after getting Pure Platinum on normal…anything less hurts

The extra enemies arent a problem in Hard mode its the shorter time limit…no mistakes allowed so even though i dont take damage my time gets me silver or gold…and like i said before after getting pure platinum anything less hurts LOL! Good luck to you im sure ur as excited for the Bayonetta package like i am

Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Defends Wii U Prospects as Shigeru Miyamoto Highlights Nintendo's Creativity

WanderingPB

@sinalefa I wonder if its art style will stand the test of time kinda like Wind Waker or dare i say the original Looney Tunes cartoons?

My son and i still play the multiplayer in W101 and after alot of practice we finally got a Pure Platinum trophy though the rest were bronze but we're just happy we no longer get consolation prizes LOL! The hardest thing is recruiting civilians after beating a each section.

I believe one day will give W101 the respect it truly deserves and wonder how they couldve over looked such a creatively awesome game or they'll leave PEACHY comments about WiiU sales and games while never owning the console or playing its games ya know LOL!

Re: Bayonetta Wii U Director Shows More of What Those Nintendo Costumes Do

WanderingPB

@sinalefa True most might never unlock them but what i found disturbing is that once u set up the custom blocks that fit ur play style it takes the game to a whole other level but people still complained about the gameplay…makes me wonder if people even really played the game or just rushed through it. Guess its crazy now and days to look through the games menu and options…krazy. Aside from its creativity, humor and action it gives the players so many options on how to play and replay value…my goal is to beat it on very hard which i hear even Kamiya wasnt able to do LOL!

Re: Bayonetta Wii U Director Shows More of What Those Nintendo Costumes Do

WanderingPB

The first line in the article reminds me Simpsons episode when Homer is laying on a cloud like a recliner saying "cloud goes up, cloud goes down" LMAO!

W101 has taught me that the amount of unlockables in Platinum games is quite beefy also Bayonetta is an unlockable in W101 for those who didnt know…

Bayonetta 2 is the game ive been waiting for and am most excited about this year…Platinum truly gives gamers a unique experience i truly hope this will be successful for them and i also believe years later W101 will have a cult following because of its one of the most creative games we got on the Wii U

Re: Two Separate Bayonetta 2 Retail Releases Confirmed for Europe

WanderingPB

So many mixed messages hopefully they stick to this recent announcement.

As for the 2 games packaged together as discs…YES!!!!! i understand most are moving towards digital downloads but im fighting it to the bitter end!!! Maybe im just old school but having the physical copy to me is like a trophy

Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Defends Wii U Prospects as Shigeru Miyamoto Highlights Nintendo's Creativity

WanderingPB

@R_Champ Funny back in February i showed my older brother the battle with Orochee and he was jus like wait u were just on a ship & now ur on the back of that dragon? Then when ur free falling my brother just said "i cant believe they actually have games this krazy!" to which i told him it was only half way done…to which he exclaimed whoa!

The reality is that developers want that quick money and hey i understand from a business perspective these yearly franchises are a gold mine…but those games dont interest me anymore. And games like The Wonderful 101 are so creative that ir reminds me why i started playing video games…to have a lot of fun

Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Defends Wii U Prospects as Shigeru Miyamoto Highlights Nintendo's Creativity

WanderingPB

@Sinalefa i agree.

I'd prefer a new creative game as opposed to one that sells millions…and The Wonderful 101 is proof of that if u dont believe me look up on youtube Operation 001-C…this is one of the most Epic boss battles ive ever played and The Wonderful 101 is filled with them.

When did people stop appreciating games and simply focus in numbers? Apparently to some people its more fun to comment about bad sales then play great games…now that we can agree is just STUPID

Re: Nintendo 64 Titles Heading to the Wii U Virtual Console

WanderingPB

@Peach64 I agree Nintendo needs to focus primarily on the New Wii U games being developed but its also important to continue to improve the Operating system b/c its ridiculous that the Wii has features the Wii U doesnt. Also since we've already seen or have purchased the VC games from the Wii why not focus on bringing something fresh to the VC like the entire Gamecube library. Still im glad that Nintendo is really trying

Re: Capcom Could Be Up For Sale After Shareholders Reject Anti-Takeover Plan

WanderingPB

@Guybrush20X6 Im sure Rare is doing well but let me clarify all the IPs Rare has werent being used an it seemed like they were destined to make more and more uh kinect games?…sad but true the old Rare is far and gone but i still believe in that studio though with such a history why would any gamer not want them to succeed. But i dont believe Microsoft has really allowed Rare to shine instead of tapping into their creativity they have them making mediocre games good when i believe they're destined for so much more. But i also believe Nintendo dropped the ball by not buying them still i trust Nintendo over microsoft any day

Re: Capcom Could Be Up For Sale After Shareholders Reject Anti-Takeover Plan

WanderingPB

The perfect example of why Microsoft shouldnt buy Capcom is Rareware…remember that great studio with classic IPs? And what happened to them again and their IPs?

Like i stated in my previous comment regrdless it's truly sad to watch this happen to Capcom either they'll be bought out completey or get torn into pieces by a bidding war…this is a dark day in gaming history

Re: Capcom Could Be Up For Sale After Shareholders Reject Anti-Takeover Plan

WanderingPB

Let's be honest here it would be a fantastic time for gamers if Nintendo boughtout Capcom…but it's not as easy as that.

Others have pointed out that they'll own the IPs but it takes a specialized studio team to make that game come to life. Nintendo QUALITY games dont just come out of a quality gumball machine? it takes time, dedication and diligence to make games of that caliber and though Capcom has some talented studios how far do u believe can Nintendo be stretched?

And not every IP would make sense on Nintendo Platforms especially considering that Nintendo always pushes the envelope when it comes gameplay and like Zelda games fans will hate it or love it…

Though i want Nintendo to have Capcoms IPs especially the "Super Fighting Robot" i just dont feel its realistic and im honestly sad to see Capcom go

Re: Mario Kart 8 Speeds Into Second Place In NPD May Sales, Kirby Powers Up In Ninth

WanderingPB

@sinalefa ignorance is bliss my friend…much like everything else Nintendo makes its ahead of its time so people will complain, claim to be fans because they bought the console and its games so they could talk crap and then when its looked back on as being on of the best Nintendo consoles then they'll flip flop and boast about how great it was to have a Wii U…

To feed the troll or not feed the troll…that is the question
