Wow so much new nintendo news today…sweet! This is absolutely Day 1 for me i've been waiting so long at least we finally have a date now if they could somehow throw in the 5 disc Bayonetta 2 soundtrack i would probably lose my mind!
@rjejr im actually trying to teach my son to have more patience or sometimes just take a break and try again later but he's as stubborn as i am but im proud to get Platinum medals with him in W101 and Pikmin3 or watch him jump for joy when he beat Super Metroid by himself last year or Beat Megaman 6 by himself…yup i feel proud But his mom still gives me the evil when is determination makes him uh…a bit snippy…that's usually my cue to run to the bathroom LOL! But i agree nothing beats a peaceful household and no screaming is always an added bonus!!!!
@rjejr imagine playing Tropical freeze with the gamecube bongos now that wouldve been insane LMAO!!! The "super kong" feature in DKreturns always felt like Mr. chops was giving me the finger and asking me if i needed help…yup im one of those so i refused to ever use it b/c for me overcoming that challenge was everything…that and of course cursing out Mr.chops when he offered help but i do understand that we play games to have fun not be frustrated to the point we dont want to play. I personally love that challenge an watching my 8 year old son beat Lord Freddrick before me…well my pride wouldnt allow me to complain but i beat hard mode before him so that counts right…ok now i feel old. Though we may not agree on everything i do respect ur opinions my sarcasam just gets the better of me at times I wish u and ur family happy gaming because aside from rasing our kids right its great being able to share our hobbies with them too
@unrandomsam long time my friend but could u be a little more specific i didn't understand exactly what u were asking. As for Mario Golf the game included the same amount of content as past mario golf games i downloaded mine and that sweet sweet season pass but like all games im old school and remember the times when DLC did not exist and my genesis cartridge boxes stood proud on their own…maybe thats what made me a collector of sorts which still holds true today
@rockodoodle ur absolutely right my friend those games are worth mentioning too...and as for getting even more tracks than the 16 courses already announce sounds great but for selfish reasons i dont want Mario Kart to become overwhelmed with DLC. I wont complain of course but there is something to be said about good things come to those that wait ya know. People dont want to be ripped off by buying an incomplete game that tries to sell u dlc that should have been included and yet MK8 (a complete game IMO) adds much more and for a great price yet somehow some are complaining that the wait is too long…since when does nintendo really rush out games LMAO! I dont mind waiting because QUALITY takes time and i learned to be patient though while i wait i'll just bring out my gamecube and play sum double dash until November comes
Nintendo is so far doing DLC right in my opinion. Great amount of content at a great price the only downside for me is since im a bit of a collector i wish i had i guess the ultimate or GOTY edition of MK8…but i dont think that will happen. They also did DLC right with Pikmin3 which was really awesome and if they added online for mission or bingo battle would make Pikmin 3 superb!! I also dont have a problem with preordering the DLC for MK8 cuz i see it like an investment plus i want to make sure i dont spend that money on anything else…i know but im just silly that way

@rjejr i hear where ur coming from my son had his xmas list ready since last xmas and is constantly updating it. I just put money aside for what i know is coming out and what might be coming out…then cry when i realize my wallet is empty…but i had to change my nephews basic WiiU for a deluxe and all i did was call nintendo and after a 2 days i was able to link the NNID account to the the new WiiU but had to do it through them. Sure the saved progress was gone but at least i was able to re-download all the eshop games tied to that NNID. If ur that concerned than shoot them an email but me personally im more perplexed as too which color Yoshi im going to use later on today.

Yup the DLC wont be available until November than next May and yet i feel absolutely fine pre-ordering everything now because The REAL DILEMMA that everyone i seems to be ignoring is which color Yoshi will look best on the Yoshi bike? Im only interested in the Arrow cuz my Yoshi just looks to damn good winning in it!!! As for the other its a nice option but im fine without them. This DLC doesnt bother me because its optional but the other DLC cant get here soon enough…is it November yet???

Wow…so many leaks…i hope the hammer comes down at Nintendo's end because honestly all these leaks are taking away the magic of surprise which i truly relish in my video games. Sure u can choose to avoid the info but sometimes regardless the word gets around. But hey thats just my opinion.
I have it on my 3DS already and though its good i dont feel visuals alone are enough to make me want to buy it a second time. I'll admit i did for Shovel Knight but at least the 3ds had streetpass feature and the WiiU will soon have multiplayer. This is a perfect case where crossbuy should be implemented but who knows if we get a discount for already having the 3ds version maybe i'll cave…but without a question this game is worth exploring…take ur time learn, explore and upgrade and then u'll see why this game truly shines!
@Donjwolf i grew up with A! Infact bought all the dvds so my son could enjoy the lovely madness that i grew up with. Unfortunately much of the gloriously classic cartoons have been forgotten kinda like the Tiny toon episode when Babs helped Bosco and Honey…sad but true.

So basically it was between 64 and Galaxy for me…but Galaxy was just amazing not to say 64 wasnt it blew my mind when i first got it but Galaxy was out of this universe( yep corny i know) and overall was just packed with so much to do then luigi…and also i may be on of the very few that actually liked Rosalina story book…i know galaxy 2 improved and added more plus my main dino Yoshi but The first Galaxy to me is a masterpiece.

Every console of every generation has gems that are worth experiencing…there should be an option to buy all three.
The reason i get different consoles is for exclusives that i truly adore but Nintendo is always my primary because i love playing games that are fun and they have most of my favorite franchises. Second is PS4 because im still hoping for the Last Guardian amongst other and well third party is usually guaranteed and not messed up like it was w/ ps3. Now XB1 finally got me with Scalebound…and im curious to find out what else microsoft has up its sleeve even if i dont like their microtransactions and business decisions at the end of the day its all about the games. I play the games and the games are the reason every generation going with nintendo it an obvious choice and then i just research the other two until the time is right then enjoy all the games to my hearts content
I……I…I…I really really hope this comes here in NA but the original Bayonetta 5 disc soundtrack never made it here that im aware of…Hyrule Warriors may have to wait because this is a priority import that will impact my wallet greatly!!! I hope the eventually release a W101 sdtk too that Wonderful Anthem is epic!
Sure i would be lying to say i wouldnt buy an HD remake of gamecube or wii games but i want new games and experiences first with a little remake to tide me over during a drought or game delay. Im still playing gamecube games on my Wii and found a store that supplies my gamecube fix (cough double dash cough) and have a backlog still for my Wii…and eshop indie games i um will eventually get to.…video games are my vice but im ok with that LOL!!!

My deepest sympathies goes to the entire Williams family and i believe we all need to respect their privacy and time to grieve. This was a very respectful statement Nintendo has made and now im going to watch Aladdin, Hook and what dreams may come again.
While playing the demo i loved Greninja but am also a big fan of Megaman and once u learn their move sets…i was knockin people out left and right until my so knocked me out of course…
As far as Amiibo figures i love all these Nintendo figures and since im also a collector im going to buy them all…sounds silly honestly but pretty awesome nonetheless…if they had W101 or Bayonetta Amiibo figures i'd probably lose my mind!
Wow…this game just keeps looking better and better…please Nintendo advertise the hell out of this! I know Hyrule Warriors is getting most peoples attention but Bayonetta 2 deserves more praise this is shaping up to be GOTY…and like W101 i will support it and buy it day one!!!
Wind Waker…i love the whole franchise and every game is unique to me but Wind Waker is just the one i feel in love with even though the first Zelda game i played was the golden cartidge on the NES…storywise though Skyward Sword is truly special
I really wished Mew2king and Armada were part of the invitational they are amazing to watch and always look forward to hear more from them. I heard nintendo got alot of feed back from the players at the invitational and from people at E3 so im curious to what they're going to adjust for the final version

Wow so much negativity towards Fi…playing as has absolutely got me hyped for this game even more that and possibly being able to play as Ghirahim and online play this will definitely be awesome!
Being able to share my love for video games with my son has been one of the best experiences of my life every multi-player we get excited about and watching our co-op skills improve is amazing too! We easily get Platinum in Pikmin 3 and W101…the fact that an 8 year old can pull off multiple unite morph combos better most adults should put to shame anyone questioning W101 controls

Positive Wii U articles are always welcomed but all that biased negative hate is not forgotten and have educated more about how some gamers forgot that games are about having fun playing not nonsensical rhetoric…I personally think the Wii U was a great day 1 purchase for me but once Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 came out that's when the Wii U was shinning!
Alright this is one of the many ways Skyward sword surprised me…Fi at first was interesting...then it felt like she was naggingly annoying...then her dancing was simply majestic…then she was right back to annoying but made the Peanut adult noises(whomp whomp whomp) so it was easier to ignore…and then at the end i didnt want her to leave and felt very sad because i understood she had to……that goes to show the craftmanship in the Zelda games kinda like in WindWaker the way u feel empathetic with Ganon at the end of the game…remarkable
So long story short im glad Fi is a playable character and am looking forward to seeing what she'll bring to the table
To be honest any game can be a system seller it just depends on the gamer making the purchase. A system seller to me would be Wonderful 101 or DKCTF but unfortunately 'system seller' is bunched in with statistics on whether the majority of people purchased that system for that particular game.
This game looks very promising and the gameplay looks like a ridiculous amount of krazy fun. I cant wait to hear more about this but so far definitely on my 2015 wish list for next year
This is the first kickstarter i backed and very happy i did…but hearing this even though they separated this new one it's just a bit odd…this was one of the most successful kickstarters last year and though i have no problem with them starting another one i want then to focus on delivering what they promised on the first one before i invest anymore…
Weird but sounds like what Sega is doing with Sonic Boom they made all these plans for the franchise but the game isnt living up to the hype…i just want them to focus on the game and deliver us a great quality game that was worth the wait like Shovel Knight
Bayonetta 2 is the game im most excited for next to Captain Toad but i must say im actually excited for all these games minus Sonic Boom…i really hope they surprise us with a better sonic game than what they had for their demo.

I wasnt personally impressed with project giant robot or project guard but im going to wait for all its ideas be completely implemented after all they did have the Starfox logo on them so maybe there's a bigger picture we aren't seeing now that Miyamoto-san has in store for us

The original NES Legend of Zelda founded what oracle of seasons/ages BUILT upon if ur picky about the Zelda games u prefer…hey i hear ya join the millions that complain about the game when it comes out then praise it when the next one is released or just complain about it not being the Zelda game u wanted…i fell victim to that insanity years ago until i learned to appreciate how unique & different each game of the series was…of course Link between worlds is not like oracles/ages but neither is ocarina of time or Majoras mask…so ur saying it wouldve been better to improve solely on Oracle/ages than create those other classics? Negative my friend this is where ur argument fails in my opinion…the exploration of each unique title serve as tool to improve the experience and make a better game in the series…and yet u want something like Oracle or better…well they have and this is why Legend of Zelda games can only be compared to other Legend of Zelda games…while i would love another Oracle/ages i wouldnt be against the creative growth of the franchise thats just obtuse
And for u to even compare the MarioKart franchise to Sonic Allstar Racing Transformed which is using mariokart as a foundation…im just going to shake my head and politely disagree b/c i don't want to have this go on longer than it already has…good luck gaming my friend enjoy that fun of urs makes me more empathetic to the developers who have to deal with our krazy gamer requests LOL!
I absolutely agree with VC games or even indie games that are exactly the same on both versions you shouldnt have to pay twice but what about the other games that have unique features that are to each specific version? I'd be happy with a nice bargain bundle price for those games. But for the VC honestly we shouldnt have to pay to transfer it from the Wii to the Wii U or 3DS to Wii U and vice versa
Still looking at all the eshop discounts and this cross buy…im hopeful that some change is coming

When u talk about change u must be one of those who wanted starfox on land i assume? All those games u mentioned BUILD upon what they're predecessors have done…and again some times it awesome and sometimes its not but they try and im ok with them doing that because what Nintendo doesnt do is a yearly stuff ur face COD rehash usually u get certain games every console with an occasional sequel on the same console.
We all want new sequels of our favorite games my friend but we must be honest as well with our expectations because if u really want to look at it every game is a copy of a game before it but its a great foundation we gamers have not more of the same…because regardless if they do something completely different people will still whine and complain while a great incredibly creative game like W101 just sits on the shelf. Enjoy games for what they are FUN if its not for u then okey dokey but that has nothing to do with the fact that those games are still FUN

Um Nintendo has unofficially been there own genre for a long time isnt that why people are so reluctant to support them? "People buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games"…is what they say forgetting the fact that they make great high quality fun games…

The way they dont just copy and paste most of their games but actually try to add something new or different to it…sure they're not always successful like The "new" yoshi island but they do strike gold like in Metroid Prime but then again look at Woolly World is looking to be Yoshi's comeback!
I really appreciate the different directions they take which to me make all the Legend of Zelda games classics and as for Tropical Freeze…Retro PERFECTED platforming with Tropical Freeze…the gameplay, controls, the challenge and music damn that game was just great probably why i got 200% but faulting this game for improving the last is like getting angry about Mario galaxy 2 perfecting the original Galaxy which though it did the original is my favorite.
Im very excited about this game especially after watching the Treehouse Live because honestly the trailer doesnt do the game that much justice if u ask me.
But it's a bit annoying the way the interviewer asked its questions…makes me feel like even though this game has awesome concepts people are just slamming it b/c its on the Wii U…so who cares about gameplay b/c the graphics just look outdated…its disheartening to know there's a large amount of gamers who dont play games to have fun but to say it looks so pretty
@Mega719 u misunderstand my friend im not trying to say every game released on the eshop is bug or glitch free but each of the big Three has certain standards and requirements before meeting approval so if there's a delay in one version it could be used to improve all versions especially when it comes to bugs and glitiches.
And if developers were the sole and only reason for delays then EA just pretty much said they can sell us anything and we would buy it with Battlefield huh but wait they did apologize and offered us more PAID DLC that we could purchase…yay…
If it will give them time to fix up and improve the game in all versions im all for it. Nintendo themselves are tough on their requirements as well especially finding bugs look at Shovel Knight and Armillo for example those games have been ready for awhile but were held back b/c of bugs infact didnt a few people report sum glitches in Shovel Knight after its release?
Id rather have an incredible game like Shovel Knight that needs a small little patch then a completely broken game like Battlefield 4…im always willing to wait for a good game
@Parasky @MysticX i absolutely agree it's the convenience of having an all in one device which also happens to have some of the most popluar games kids are playing and talking about. With a simple push of of a button kids can play games, watch video, stream shows or take pictures…an all in one package thats more tempting than a handheld that's primarily a great gaming device but has a slow sluggish everything else…
@Peach64 i couldnt agree with you more i wonder if maybe it's just denial or maybe since we grew up playing with dedicated game controllers that maybe we just dont want to see it's appeal? This is what Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft should really keep an eye out for before they get swept up by this underestimated contender. But like consoles it comes down to software and exclusives you wont get anywhere else and thats what these devices have to compete with because i wouldnt trade my gameplay experience of W101, Halo 2, or Shadow of the colossus for a simple and non immersive touchscreen device but that's just me…im just old school
@raith im with you 101%!!! And most people that have played W101 feel the same way and want it to have the recognition that it truly deserves…it shall become a cult classic and maybe just maybe we'll have a wonderful sequel!

Im only interested in the Arrow cuz my Yoshi just looks to damn good winning in it!!! As for the other its a nice option but im fine without them. This DLC doesnt bother me because its optional but the other DLC cant get here soon enough…is it November yet???

I have it on my 3DS already and though its good i dont feel visuals alone are enough to make me want to buy it a second time. I'll admit i did for Shovel Knight but at least the 3ds had streetpass feature and the WiiU will soon have multiplayer. This is a perfect case where crossbuy should be implemented but who knows if we get a discount for already having the 3ds version maybe i'll cave…but without a question this game is worth exploring…take ur time learn, explore and upgrade and then u'll see why this game truly shines!

@Donjwolf i grew up with A! Infact bought all the dvds so my son could enjoy the lovely madness that i grew up with. Unfortunately much of the gloriously classic cartoons have been forgotten kinda like the Tiny toon episode when Babs helped Bosco and Honey…sad but true.

So basically it was between 64 and Galaxy for me…but Galaxy was just amazing not to say 64 wasnt it blew my mind when i first got it but Galaxy was out of this universe( yep corny i know) and overall was just packed with so much to do then luigi…and also i may be on of the very few that actually liked Rosalina story book…i know galaxy 2 improved and added more plus my main dino Yoshi but The first Galaxy to me is a masterpiece.
2D are great as well but my heart is in 3D

Every console of every generation has gems that are worth experiencing…there should be an option to buy all three.
The reason i get different consoles is for exclusives that i truly adore but Nintendo is always my primary because i love playing games that are fun and they have most of my favorite franchises. Second is PS4 because im still hoping for the Last Guardian amongst other and well third party is usually guaranteed and not messed up like it was w/ ps3. Now XB1 finally got me with Scalebound…and im curious to find out what else microsoft has up its sleeve even if i dont like their microtransactions and business decisions at the end of the day its all about the games. I play the games and the games are the reason every generation going with nintendo it an obvious choice and then i just research the other two until the time is right then enjoy all the games to my hearts content

I……I…I…I really really hope this comes here in NA but the original Bayonetta 5 disc soundtrack never made it here that im aware of…Hyrule Warriors may have to wait because this is a priority import that will impact my wallet greatly!!! I hope the eventually release a W101 sdtk too that Wonderful Anthem is epic!

Sure i would be lying to say i wouldnt buy an HD remake of gamecube or wii games but i want new games and experiences first with a little remake to tide me over during a drought or game delay. Im still playing gamecube games on my Wii and found a store that supplies my gamecube fix (cough double dash cough) and have a backlog still for my Wii…and eshop indie games i um will eventually get to.…video games are my vice but im ok with that LOL!!!

Being able to share my love for video games with my son has been one of the best experiences of my life every multi-player we get excited about and watching our co-op skills improve is amazing too! We easily get Platinum in Pikmin 3 and W101…the fact that an 8 year old can pull off multiple unite morph combos better most adults should put to shame anyone questioning W101 controls

Alright this is one of the many ways Skyward sword surprised me…Fi at first was interesting...then it felt like she was naggingly annoying...then her dancing was simply majestic…then she was right back to annoying but made the Peanut adult noises(whomp whomp whomp) so it was easier to ignore…and then at the end i didnt want her to leave and felt very sad because i understood she had to……that goes to show the craftmanship in the Zelda games kinda like in WindWaker the way u feel empathetic with Ganon at the end of the game…remarkable
So long story short im glad Fi is a playable character and am looking forward to seeing what she'll bring to the table

To be honest any game can be a system seller it just depends on the gamer making the purchase. A system seller to me would be Wonderful 101 or DKCTF but unfortunately 'system seller' is bunched in with statistics on whether the majority of people purchased that system for that particular game.
This game looks very promising and the gameplay looks like a ridiculous amount of krazy fun. I cant wait to hear more about this but so far definitely on my 2015 wish list for next year

This is the first kickstarter i backed and very happy i did…but hearing this even though they separated this new one it's just a bit odd…this was one of the most successful kickstarters last year and though i have no problem with them starting another one i want then to focus on delivering what they promised on the first one before i invest anymore…
Weird but sounds like what Sega is doing with Sonic Boom they made all these plans for the franchise but the game isnt living up to the hype…i just want them to focus on the game and deliver us a great quality game that was worth the wait like Shovel Knight

@XCWarrior Aonuma was the director for Majoras Mask and the one who got the ball rolling not Miyamoto…and Miyamoto had nothing to do with Metroid until Prime…it's very easy to critique a legendary developer to constantly create more but how many games XCWarrior have u created…yup…
I wasnt personally impressed with project giant robot or project guard but im going to wait for all its ideas be completely implemented after all they did have the Starfox logo on them so maybe there's a bigger picture we aren't seeing now that Miyamoto-san has in store for us

@unrandomsam yup…ur response answered my query about ur perspective taste. U sound intelligent and im sure we could debate this topic in depth being both gamers at heart but im just going to point out a few things…
The original NES Legend of Zelda founded what oracle of seasons/ages BUILT upon if ur picky about the Zelda games u prefer…hey i hear ya join the millions that complain about the game when it comes out then praise it when the next one is released or just complain about it not being the Zelda game u wanted…i fell victim to that insanity years ago until i learned to appreciate how unique & different each game of the series was…of course Link between worlds is not like oracles/ages but neither is ocarina of time or Majoras mask…so ur saying it wouldve been better to improve solely on Oracle/ages than create those other classics? Negative my friend this is where ur argument fails in my opinion…the exploration of each unique title serve as tool to improve the experience and make a better game in the series…and yet u want something like Oracle or better…well they have and this is why Legend of Zelda games can only be compared to other Legend of Zelda games…while i would love another Oracle/ages i wouldnt be against the creative growth of the franchise thats just obtuse
And for u to even compare the MarioKart franchise to Sonic Allstar Racing Transformed which is using mariokart as a foundation…im just going to shake my head and politely disagree b/c i don't want to have this go on longer than it already has…good luck gaming my friend enjoy that fun of urs makes me more empathetic to the developers who have to deal with our krazy gamer requests LOL!

I absolutely agree with VC games or even indie games that are exactly the same on both versions you shouldnt have to pay twice but what about the other games that have unique features that are to each specific version? I'd be happy with a nice bargain bundle price for those games. But for the VC honestly we shouldnt have to pay to transfer it from the Wii to the Wii U or 3DS to Wii U and vice versa
Still looking at all the eshop discounts and this cross buy…im hopeful that some change is coming

When u talk about change u must be one of those who wanted starfox on land i assume? All those games u mentioned BUILD upon what they're predecessors have done…and again some times it awesome and sometimes its not but they try and im ok with them doing that because what Nintendo doesnt do is a yearly stuff ur face COD rehash usually u get certain games every console with an occasional sequel on the same console.
We all want new sequels of our favorite games my friend but we must be honest as well with our expectations because if u really want to look at it every game is a copy of a game before it but its a great foundation we gamers have not more of the same…because regardless if they do something completely different people will still whine and complain while a great incredibly creative game like W101 just sits on the shelf. Enjoy games for what they are FUN if its not for u then okey dokey but that has nothing to do with the fact that those games are still FUN

The way they dont just copy and paste most of their games but actually try to add something new or different to it…sure they're not always successful like The "new" yoshi island but they do strike gold like in Metroid Prime but then again look at Woolly World is looking to be Yoshi's comeback!
I really appreciate the different directions they take which to me make all the Legend of Zelda games classics and as for Tropical Freeze…Retro PERFECTED platforming with Tropical Freeze…the gameplay, controls, the challenge and music damn that game was just great probably why i got 200% but faulting this game for improving the last is like getting angry about Mario galaxy 2 perfecting the original Galaxy which though it did the original is my favorite.

Im very excited about this game especially after watching the Treehouse Live because honestly the trailer doesnt do the game that much justice if u ask me.
But it's a bit annoying the way the interviewer asked its questions…makes me feel like even though this game has awesome concepts people are just slamming it b/c its on the Wii U…so who cares about gameplay b/c the graphics just look outdated…its disheartening to know there's a large amount of gamers who dont play games to have fun but to say it looks so pretty

@Mega719 u misunderstand my friend im not trying to say every game released on the eshop is bug or glitch free but each of the big Three has certain standards and requirements before meeting approval so if there's a delay in one version it could be used to improve all versions especially when it comes to bugs and glitiches.
And if developers were the sole and only reason for delays then EA just pretty much said they can sell us anything and we would buy it with Battlefield huh but wait they did apologize and offered us more PAID DLC that we could purchase…yay…

If it will give them time to fix up and improve the game in all versions im all for it. Nintendo themselves are tough on their requirements as well especially finding bugs look at Shovel Knight and Armillo for example those games have been ready for awhile but were held back b/c of bugs infact didnt a few people report sum glitches in Shovel Knight after its release?
Id rather have an incredible game like Shovel Knight that needs a small little patch then a completely broken game like Battlefield 4…im always willing to wait for a good game

@Parasky @MysticX i absolutely agree it's the convenience of having an all in one device which also happens to have some of the most popluar games kids are playing and talking about. With a simple push of of a button kids can play games, watch video, stream shows or take pictures…an all in one package thats more tempting than a handheld that's primarily a great gaming device but has a slow sluggish everything else…
@Peach64 i couldnt agree with you more i wonder if maybe it's just denial or maybe since we grew up playing with dedicated game controllers that maybe we just dont want to see it's appeal? This is what Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft should really keep an eye out for before they get swept up by this underestimated contender. But like consoles it comes down to software and exclusives you wont get anywhere else and thats what these devices have to compete with because i wouldnt trade my gameplay experience of W101, Halo 2, or Shadow of the colossus for a simple and non immersive touchscreen device but that's just me…im just old school
