@Jokerwolf I wouldn't mind them being so easy to steamroll through if they had difficulty settings. Like keep the default difficulty for those who want it, but put in a "hard" mode that ups the levels of opponents and makes them actually play strategically instead of doing dumb **** like spamming Refect (or Protect; whichever move it is that negates all damage that turn) until it doesn't work.
Isle of Armour was pretty mediocre, so I doubt I'll look at Crown Tundra. I really should stop buying Pokémon games; I always end up blowing right through them because they're so easy and then the endgame content never holds my interest.
In fact, looking at this list, I've struggled with a lot of them. Fire Emblem, Skyrim, DQB2, Hollow Knight, Hyrule/Fire Emblem Warriors, MK11, MUA3, Octopath Traveler, Minecraft, Team Sonic Racing and Warframe have all given me real issues; some only in portable, some on my TV.
As someone who is severely sight impaired, I've been tripped up a few times with tiny text on Switch games in portable mode. Fire Emblem: Three Houses was the worst offender, personally. I absolutely adored the game but had no choice but to play it on TV (43-inch, which I'm literally sat a foot away from) and even then I struggled. I've also steered away from Darkest Dungeon because even though it is absolutely something I would love, after seeing the screenshots on the eShop I was like "what's the point? I'm not going to be able to read any of this".
@Thirteen1355 I played these games when they originally released on their respective original hardware and guess what: I still don't care about debug cubes. The arguments for why this is such a big deal and so outrageous are legitimately absurd. I'd be sympathetic if people were paying for this game and it was unequivocally unplayable and full of crashes and game-breaking bugs because at that point they've paid for something that doesn't work, but the people whining and throwing their toys out of their pram over this tiny, unobtrusive and inconsequential little detail need to get a grip and get over themselves, honestly.
@Pigeon okay... but seriously, this whole thing is absolutely not that big a deal. It never ceases to amaze me how up in arms people on the Internet get over the stupidest little things. Like, how do visible debug cubes actually adversely affect you?
If this is the sort of thing that upsets people, I truly envy them. I'd love my own life to be so utterly perfect that debug cubes were the one and/or only thing I needed to complain about.
EA Play would be a nice enough addition, but as a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber I'd probably rarely use it on Switch. I'll be more inclined to check out the few EA games I have a vague interest in/actually wanted to play on Xbox but didn't for whatever reason. Unless they bring OG Plants vs. Zombies to Switch, in which case get the f**k out of my way.
@holygeez03 because this game was funded on FIG three or four years ago. When all the deals regarding the guest characters were signed, there wouldn't have been any reason to think Bounty Battle would be as bad as it turned out.
I have no interest in football, but I picked this up on Friday and have been having a blast with it. I finished Episode: Tsubasa earlier today and will be jumping right into Episode: New Hero (which by the looks of things is where the real meat of the game is) tonight after work.
I'd be up for playing the other Commander Keen games again if they came to Switch, but Keen Dreams is by far the worst one. I didn't particularly like it as a kid and I doubt I would now.
At the end of the day, why care? It's not like none of us has nothing else to play, watch, read, make or do until Bayonetta 3 comes out. I have a 256GB memory card full of Switch games I've mostly not finished, along with a Game Pass subscription, a job and God knows what else to occupy my time. Personally, I'll live if Bayonetta 3 takes a while.
@ninoishi it's just a case of it being announced too early. There's every possibility that development on the game hadn't even begun when it was announced. People forget that Platinum is a developer roughly the size of Sony Santa Monica, except the former is a) independent, and b) cranks out multiple titles a year.
I'd be surprised if Crash 4 didn't make it to Switch at some point. Let Toys for Bob get the PS4/XBO versions complete first, before letting someone like Saber or Panic Button get to work on Switch optimisation.
@Damo "Hot Pursuit, lest we forget, was a PS4/Xbox One launch title".
Probably best we do forget that, due to the fact that it wasn't. It was a 2010 PS3/360/Wii game. It was never even ported to PS4/XBO, let alone a launch title for them. You're thinking of Need For Speed: Rivals.

@The_Top_Loader correct answer.

@Clyde_Radcliffe best 3D platformer of all time? Sonic Adventure? The best? 3D platformer? Of all time?
Are you high?!

In a way, getting all those Nintendo first-party exclusives on day one is pretty cool.
