This is why I don't play mobile games, let alone get invested in them. They're only ever a bad fiscal quarter away from being shut down, so what's the point?

@ThomasBW84 If I were to purchase this game, roughly how much will I have to listen to the words "monstie" or "monsties"? I only ask because MHS2 looks great, but that word makes me irrationally angry.

@twztid13 My opinion still stands. That's still £50/$50 more than I paid for my current Switch at launch, which still works perfectly. I'm not paying another £350/$350 for a .8-inch bigger screen, a kickstand I'll never use, better speakers that I'll never use (because in portable I'm either using headphones or with the volume most of the way down), more internal storage (which I don't need), a LAN port I'll never use and more Joy-Cons that'll probably knacker themselves in a few months time.

If my current Switch breaks then I'll replace it with one of these or, like I said, if someone is looking to get their first Switch then the OLED model is absolutely the one to get... but for now, I don't need this.

If you don't have a Switch yet then this is obviously the one to get. However, unless Nintendo lowers the price of Switch and Switch Lite, the OLED Edition is probably cost around £400, and I can't justify spending that when my current Switch serves me perfectly well.

That's a dangerously uninformative trailer. No parent unfamiliar with the word "hentai", let alone what it means, watching that trailer would think twice about the game being inappropriate for children.

@brunojenso Yeah, maybe, but unfortunately for him that's the note he went out on. I would gladly eat my words if he decided to make a comeback and had, as you said, maybe evolved as a person and developed some humility. I personally doubt it, though, and as it stands people will only ever remember him for being an arse and throwing public tantrum after public tantrum, so that's unfortunately what you're always going to hear and read about concerning him, sick of it or not.

@brunojenso You might be right; he might be an incredibly sensitive, deep and contemplative individual. If that is indeed the case, it's a shame that he always chose to convey the exact opposite whenever dealing with the public or press.

@Gavintendo From my experience, it was easier to just write "we", instead of waiting to be asked to edit it or just having it edited. It's not something I ever understood, personally; surely nobody reading this or any other site thinks that every member of staff played the game for review purposes?

@Gavintendo Nintendo Life's internal writing guidelines are (or at least were) to use "we" instead of "I" in most written articles, with the exception of opinion pieces. It's probably an attempt to dissuade arguments about whether a specific writer's review is too opinionated.

I will never understand why platform holders don't just put folders in day one. How much extra work could it possibly be when you already had folders in the previous gen?

I'm still in two minds about whether or not to pick this up. On one hand, it's a good value package (well, physically anyway) and it's going away soon, but on the other hand, I've played them already.

I don't understand the "x would be a great fit for Switch" sentiment that's been bandied about for the last 4 years. It seems like every game mentioned in regards to the console "is a great fit" or "would be a great fit".
