Why is Square so allergic to upgrade paths?

@Vortexeo Same. Not surprised that Square decided to be lazy with no upgrade path for any of their games that are already on Switch 1 (with the exception of FF: Tactics that did get an upgrade option).

I reviewed the PC version last year and can definitely say, aside from some tricky puzzle solving, it's indeed a superb adventure that is definitely worth a look!

One of the best games I played on PC last year. Definitely happy to see it's coming to Switch and Switch 2!

@MirrorFate2 That's still a mystery considering that the Switch 1 could possibly run DMC4 fine, even better on Switch 2.

Played it on PC when it came out and while I loved the presentation and crazy narrative, it wasn't good at all.

I've yet to play the update though, so it may be better now. But I'm curious on how it'll run on both Switch and Switch 2.

I'd be shocked (but happy) if Square ever does an upgrade path for Switch 1 owners of DQ IX since they rarely do that.

@Pillowpants This was a third party direct, not indie world so it wouldn't be one of the three that were pulled. Also the game has a playable demo at Gamescom coming up.

If they do a Switch 2 release of this, I'm betting it'll be a Game-Key card since WB Games loves to cheap out as much as possible.

I keen for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and I know a lot of people are keen for MH: Wilds but for the rest, it's rather underwhelming.

Played the demo and thought it was good, although the bit with getting the key under the stool using motion controls was awful, especially when using the pro controller as I was playing the demo on the TV, so I then hold it off and then played it again on handheld mode and it was much better.

They need to give the option to allow us to disable the motion controls in the full game.

Played the demo for this game at PAX back in October and came away really impressed. Definitely a day one purchase for me!

Hope we can get Hotel Dusk and it's sequel (that was only released in JPN and Europe) remastered/remade soon.

That's great to hear but can we also get Mistwalker's Fantasian as well, please? (For those who don't know, that's an RPG from the studio behind Lost Odyssey. Fantasian is currently an Apple Arcade exclusive)

Played the demo during Steam Next Fest on PC and it was outstanding! So I'm keen for this reboot of a franchise I never played before.

@xshinox It was also available on PC but not many people play games on computer, so I don't see a reason why this game shouldn't be remastered and not released on all platforms.

And some of us feel a little jipped since we jumped in on the LRG releases...Oh well.

@dmcc0 From what I can tell, you can play this without knowledge of the original but there is some references to the original (and even a certain character that makes a return).

I'm guessing that Panzer Dragoon listing on EB Games' website wasn't complete BS after all. But I got a copy from LRG, so I'm good.

That said, interested in the HOTD remake.

Played it on PC, was pretty funny!

The NA cover has a more less is more approach which I kind of like and has the tone of something big with the background image.

The Japanese cover is pretty bland in comparison but having the whole party of characters there is pretty cool.

Great to hear but kind of annoying that I got it for $10 for my Xbox and this version gets announced. Might wait for a price drop if I'm eager to get it again.

Been playing it on my Xbox and it's been really fun but Ubisoft really dropped the ball by making the early demo of this game as a Stadia exclusive instead of releasing it on all platforms from the beginning to gauge interest.

So shocked that this is the first time a Postal game has hit console and it's on a Nintendo system.

Disappointed that the Switch version is at 30fps since Burnout Paradise was able to do 60fps.

As much as I'd like the collector's edition but the price (including conversion and shipping) is too much to ask for, so I'll wait for the physical releases.
