I played it on PS5 when it first came out since we got it for free on PS+. It's an okay game but once you've played it, there's no reason to go back. Plus the escape sections with insta death really, really suck. On Switch it'll probably run pretty poorly and/or look bad. If anyone interested is reading this, wait until it's discounted.

For that price, it better be epic and have great replayability. I'm currently playing Vampire Survivors which cost like $3 (not counting the DLC) and it has so much content for such a small price. I'll be sticking with that until the reviews for the TMNT game are in.

Can Nintendo also buy Crystal Dynamics and Tomb Raider so that the franchise will finally be in the hands of someone who'll treat it with respect?

As an (albeit former) hardcore TR fanboy, I'm pleased with this.

Sales numbers only matter to console fanboys and investors. It's the fun factor that really matters. I loved my WiiU and PS Vita, and they both sold poorly. And speaking of the WiiU, I'm still waiting for a Switch port of Xenoblade Chronicles X, Nintendo...

I would LOVE to have a Switch version of Xenoblade Chronicles X. I do have it on WiiU but can never be bothered to hook the console up again.

And Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 need to get a proper remake like Crash and Spyro did. I know Sonic fans see the SA games as some kind of holy grails, but they aged very poorly. I bought them on Steam years ago and my god are they terrible. Also the sound mixing is ridiculous. There's a conversation going in a cutscene while a song with corny lyrics is blasting in the background so loudly you can't hear the speech.

I still need to play this, mostly because I'm Czech and this game is the most expensive and ambitious one that we've made so far. I just hear the combat system is crap and I don't have time nor patience to struggle with a videogame.

I hope Big N takes them down. I pay for all my games, I don't see why someone else should get them for free. I can understand if it's college kids or something, but grown adults with actual income? Gtfo.

@ChaoticIgnorance Everyone keeps praising it which is why so was excited to buy it and disappointed when I just couldn't get the hang of it. I'll definitely try again when my younger kid is a bit older and can play with the older one. That should give me some free time at last. Happy gaming to you too!

@ChaoticIgnorance Oh I'm aware the problem is on my end, I just couldn't handle the controls. I'll admit I didn't try too hard to get into it. My backlog of games is absolutely massive with two young kids, so if something doesn't click with me within the first 30 minutes, I'm out. I might try again later when I have the ability to sit down and focus for more than a few minutes before a child starts screaming at me.

@Anti-Matter More power to you, man! I'm guilty of enjoying some less than stellar games myself. The Paw Patrol games in particular just annoyed me with how cheaply made they are. Parents like me throw money at the franchise buying merch and toys for our kids, so it would be nice to get a game that looks and sounds like current gen. They sure as heck can afford it.

Wait, the game is actually legit? It popped up on sale the other day and I just dismissed it as more shovelware based on its icon alone. I'll have to have another look at it.

@flighty We get so many origins movies because the studios hope there's gonna be an entire series set in that continuity. And when the first movie bombs, they just can the series, then try it slightly differently again and again and again...

@Anti-Matter I was forced to play the Paw Patrol Games and the latest Pony game for my 2yo who's too young to play herself but likes to watch the action. The terrible visuals I could excuse but the voice acting? Oh. My. Lord! A single voice actor who does the voice for Ryder and that's it? There's nothing else. Not even some stock sounds for the pups barking. It's so cheaply and lazily made I find it borderline offensive, especially considering the franchise is raking in millions every day, yet they cut corners anywhere they can. The only saving grace was the fact I didn't have to pay for this trash, it's free on PS+ - and I still felt ripped off. If the TMNT game will be anything like those other ones, it's a hard pass from me.

@Mana_Knight Sonic Chronicles is bizarre and kinda boring. I got it used because I was also curious about the only Bioware-made Sonic game, but I couldn't get into it.

Spirit Tracks would be nice, I've never played it before. A remaster of Link Between Worlds would be lovely too, but I still have it on my 3DS so it's not urgent.

Wanted to like this game but the zero gravity controls are so bad it's unplayable for me. Shame, I hear it's real good but I just can't get into it and have no time to torture myself and git gud.

Sounds great honestly. Make it like a PG version of Yakuza, throw in Pokemon, side missions, collectibles, finally add bloody voice acting and updated Pokemon sounds (please!), maybe add a music player to the Roto-phone... The possibilities are endless and so is Z-A's potential to be a hit.

Beat the game and for the first time in any Pokemon game, I've completed the dex. Loved it so much that I hope every main Pokemon game will play like Legends did. Which it might if Game Freak learnt anything from the Scarlet/Violet fiasco.

I hate these old-style beat-em-ups so much and they just keep bloody making them as if the turtles can't be in any other genre. What would I give for a good TMNT metroidvania.

I don't have time for it. My backlog is massive as it is, and I still bought more games cause they were on sale.

The character animations are so Sonic that it just looks like a cheap re-skin or a fan game that at the last second got Sonic removed so it can be sold. Will get it if it's good, though.

TR2 was the first one I've played and the very first 3D game I've ever experienced. It will always be the best one in the franchise for me. I bought the original 4 games several times on multiple platforms, so time to buy again on Switch too.

I tried the demo on PS3 back in the day and wasn't impressed. I like crazy over-the-top Japanese action games but this one just never clicked with me. Then again, I was deep into my Bayonetta obsession back then so nothing could compare to Bayo in my book.

Is it any better than Portia? Because I bought Portia at launch and it ran like garbage on Switch. It was a glitchy mess that Pathea never bothered to fix and they merrily ignored all customer complaints. So for now I think I'm done supporting this company. Might get Sandrock once it's free on PS+ or something.

@FatBeverly It completely defeats the purpose of the game too. I can understand lazy, I am the epitome of that, which is why I never bothered with Go. I just play the main series because I enjoy Pokemon and hate exercise. Why do people even download it if they don't want to play it, I don't understand.

So you play a game by buying a device that plays it for you? And the point is...?

Why's there never any love for Pancham/Pangoro or Ursaring? Their designs are adorable (Pancham) and cool (the other two). Yet they never make any popularity lists. Hell, I like Ursaluna too simply because of how dopey it looks. Praise our ursine overlords!

I played it for about half an hour on PS4 and the controls were so bad I had to quit. It may be great on PC but on consoles it's awful. Never again!

Bayonetta 1 was a fantastic game. I was obsessed with it for like 2 years and played it daily, got a platinum trophy for it as well. Bought merch and all that stuff. Bayonetta 2 was the only reason I bought a WiiU. Loved it, but not as much as 1. Then Bayo 3 came out and I absolutely hate it. I forced myself to play through about a third of it and then I gave up. Haven't picked it up since. I stupidly bought the Trinity Masquerade edition too, so I'm doubly annoyed. Under Kamiya the series has steadily declined so maybe it's better he's gone.

Nothing they do with the Sims will make me come back. I was fine with buying big expansion packs for the first 3 games, but 4 took it to the extreme when it comes to DLC. EA completely gutted the base game and sold the cut features back as DLC. Until they stop being so disgustingly greedy, I'm boycotting the series.

All of their statues are stunning but the prices are disgusting. I'll never be able to justify shelling out hundreds of dollars on a chunk of plastic that would just end up gathering dust on the shelf. I've really wanted some of their Sonic dioramas in the past, but it's just gonna have to be a hard pass until I win the lottery or something.

Microsoft can burn in hell. I'm sick of them gobbling up studio after studio and IP after IP and making them MS exclusives. They finally got their paws on ActiBlizz so that's another library of games that's lost to Nintendo and Sony. Wish Nintendo and Sony just teamed up and started working together.

Won't be getting any of these since there are no bear villagers.

It's a box. An empty box. A half-decent artist on Etsy could customise an existing box like this. A friend of mine did a Tomb Raider-themed box for me using an old Converse box. Looks like it's made of rock with the TR logo chiseled into it and fake moss growing all over it. Inside has an old map covering. If an amateur artist can do that, this is weak. A multi-billion dollar international corporation can surely do better.

@VioletSword I wouldn't be too optimistic. This shovelware garbage is everywhere now. PlayStation didn't allow it on their store for the longest time, but now the PS Store is also full of absolute junk. Don't think Nintendo will do things differently. :/

There's no competition now that a new Zelda is out. Tears of the Kingdom is the best game I've played in a very, very long time.

The first game got me through a terrible flight from Europe to Australia, so I'll always have fond memories of it. Looking forward to the sequel.

@CMS_Glalie The Mario movie is pure fanservice. The Lion King remake was a soulless cash grab that only exists just so that Disney can claim they're still using the license and it doesn't go public domain. I know where I'd rather put my money, and it sure ain't in Disney's pockets.
