Already got all of them, some more than once. If Sega took the effort they spend on reselling old content and invested it into making good Sonic games, now that would be great.

Fusion was the first one I've played. Heard about the series before, but was a hardcore Sega fan as a kid so I missed out on the classic Nintendo 8 and 16-bit era. Then I finally got into Nintendo and never looked back.

@LUIGITORNADO Platinum went kinda downhill ever since they sold out to Tencent, so it's possible. Games as a service, mobile cash grabs and microtransactions are big in China, so it would make sense. I'm still bitterly disappointed because old Platinum made fantastic games where you unlocked stuff simply by playing the game. Miss those days.

@TommyTendo Don't count on it. Doesn't matter how good it looks anyway if the framerate tanks and the game becomes unplayable. Kingdom Hearts was an absolute mess on Switch, this will be the same. If you like a game, please do not "buy" a cloud version of it. You'll always end up being disappointed by its performance.

Oh yes, anything made by Tencent, a corporation that famously promotes and supports China's fascist dictatorship, is totally the future of gaming. Especially if it's some cloud-based nonsense.

"Free to play" and "Gameloft" is all I need to know I should avoid this thing. If I wanted predatory microtransactions pushed on me every 2 minutes, I'd play Chocobo GP.

@Narrator1 I also think you should be required to link your Nintendo/PlayStation/Steam/etc profiles and have certain amount of playtime there before you're allowed to review a game. Would weed out the whiny babies who just hate on games they haven't even played.

Made a mistake and logged on to WoW for the first time in a year. Now I'm compelled to go back.

I've got the original shiny boxed Daggerfall. And the Bayonetta/Jeanne PlayArts Kai action figures. Some old Playmates classic Tomb Raider dioramas as well. Got quite a lot of stuff which was cheap at launch and now goes for $100+ a pop.

Avoiding spoilers really isn't that hard. Don't click on articles and videos, don't watch streamers and you'll be fine. It always blows my mind when I go watch a video with spoilers and there are people crying in the comments about how the game is ruined for them. Why are you even there watching when you don't want spoilers?

@Chocobo_Shepherd She looks weird, in fact the whole franchise is so bizarre and unmistakably Japanese. That was one of the reasons I even got into it, to tell the truth. When it was first announced, I thought the name was stupid and the game insane. Downloaded the demo on PS3, and as soon as I finished it I rushed to pre-order. Never did that before or since. Some games just speak to you and you're not even sure why.

@Fazermint Don't get me wrong, I couldn't care less whether some billion dollar corporation makes slightly less money. I just feel really bad for the actual people who made the game.

@Chocobo_Shepherd I don't even know lol. Guess it was your use of the word ideal, cause that's how Kamiya described her. Bayonetta as a person is so bizarre in design that I didn't think anyone other than him would consider her the ideal woman.

@fenlix People who worked on the game have the right to unveil it themselves. Not have some douche take it and give it away. How would you feel if you spent years working on something and just as you're ready to drop it, someone takes it and steals your limelight? Still think this whole thing is okay? Then I severely question your morals, or lack of thereof.

@fenlix Because it's unethical. Believe it or not, games are made by actual people with actual feelings. Artists, composers, animators, SFX designers, writers, programmers... These people spent years of their lives working on something every single day and just as they're about to finally share it with the world, someone steals it from them.

If you still don't get it, there's clearly something wrong with you.

@diwdiws Pirating "for the lulz" is one of the stupidest reasons I've ever heard. Nintendo's artificial scarcity crap is well documented and their resistance to re-releasing old games is legendary. I've downloaded a number of ROMs in the past for these very reasons. They're not selling the games anyway, so they're not losing anything. Pirating a brand new game that's still commercially available just makes you [insert the vulgar term for human behind that got auto-censored by the website].

How does something like this even happen? Can't Nintendo afford better security? Either way, screw whomever leaked this. I'll still be buying the legit version when it comes out proper.

@relinqued God, Unleashed SUCKED. The hub levels were almost unplayable as normal Sonic because once you leveled up his speed a bit he was so slippery it was almost unplayable. The Werehog stages were such a slog but at least he didn't move like he was on ice. Just horrible all around, yet people somehow claim it was good.

@Chocobo_Shepherd I mean, the character is literally just Hideki Kamiya's fetish fuel and was designed according to his tastes, glasses and all that. It's even mentioned in the collector's edition guide for Bayo 1. It feels kinda weird playing as another man's sexual fantasy, but the gameplay is fun so whatever, I guess.

@Chocobo_Shepherd "Ideal female form" lmao. Dude, you're tripping. The woman is a caricature with a tiny head and unnaturally long legs. Yes, she's hot, but definitely nothing ideal about the way she looks, unless you have really bizarre standards.

I absolutely hate the character designs in this game. Bayonetta 1 looked the best, I always used that model in Bayonetta 2 as well, I really REALLY hope it's unlockable in 3 as well. This whole grown up Cereza thing is awful. Jeanne looks terrible as well. Did someone other than Mari Shimazaki do the designs this time or what? :/

Looks like someone's been watching Stan where this show is currently available. It's just as bad as I remember.

I don't think there's a single bad first party Mario game out there. Except the mobile cash grabs. Sunshine was a perfectly okay game. I still prefer the Galaxy series and Odyssey.

I haven't done this since playing those ancient Dungeon Master games back in the early 90's. Can't say I miss it but I admire your dedication to the game.

@PtM Nah. There are characters that have a cult following and you're privileged if you get to voice them. Lara Croft, Commander Shepard, Sonic or Zelda... don't matter which one it is, voice actors should at least pretend they don't have zero respect for themselves and their craft. There's a reason why Jennifer Hale or Roger Craig Smith get tonnes of voice work and this woman doesn't. They care, she don't, end of story.

@russell-marlow Have you tried Ys? I got Lacrimosa of Dana on Switch on a whim cause it was cheap and it's amazing. For context, I'm not big on anime either. Bought a few anime games super cheap just to see if they were any good and disliked most of them.
I've just finished Ys 9: Monstrum Nox on PS5 and it's also great. The series has likeable characters, the writing is good, the story is classic Japanese insanity but I didn't mind in these games. And the hack-n-slash combat feels really good. Actually the controls just feel right in general, hard to describe unless you try it.

Very disappointed I have to wait longer, but I'll rather wait than get a rushed, broken game.

@PtM Naturally, it's a video game character. With a massive and passionate fanbase. Not sure what point you're trying to make.

@Waka_the_Prophet I get where you're coming from, yes, I realise that artists need money too, but I don't think bringing this awful Zelda back as a desperate cash grab is the way to go. The CDi games are notoriously bad, Nintendo even disowned them, and bringing these godawful versions of classic characters back should be a labour of love for the few that enjoyed them. No one says you should work for free, but maybe don't be so obvious about how little you care about your role and your target audience.

@mlj11 Exactly this. I love Sonic, been a fan since I was little and always thought he was so much cooler than Mario. But the sad truth is Mario games are great. Creative, smart, innovative. Sonic just goes fast, durr. I was hopeful when Rise of Lyric got announced that maybe we could get a nice 3D platformer like Spyro, but they had to ruin it too. Sonic as a franchise just doesn't have much going for it. It needs a complete overhaul and some depth.

He's just seeing dollar signs. Would be nice if he and his team focused on Frontiers and tried to produce a good game, rather than daydream about future projects and how much cash they'll rake in.

@Waka_the_Prophet Yeah no kidding. But it would be nice if they had respect for their trade rather than just seeing dollar bills. When you voice a popular character, you become that character. Considering this is Zelda we're talking about, some respect would be nice.

@CazSonOfCaz She may have made a typo and her phone autocorrected it to peaked instead of piqued since both are actual words. I've had that happen numerous times in the past with various words.

I'm more put off by her going "I love theatre but there's more money in voice acting". She's clearly very passionate about Zelda...

The cutscenes were great for a laugh or two, but that's about it. No thanks.

Sonic and Bayonetta. Both have amazing music ideal for a rhythm game. Bayonetta especially needs more love.

F.I.S.T. is really good. Got it on PS5 cause I didn't think it would run too well on Switch. I'll be getting Klonoa for sure, though!

@Link-Hero They're just doing what Fortnite has been doing for years - lazy crossovers with completely unrelated franchises in hopes of attracting people who would normally never play this microtransaction-filled pay-to-win fest. It's honestly embarassing that Nickelodeon is selling out like this.

We can expect something like this from pretty much every free-to-play multiplayer game. Genshin is doing it, Ninjala is doing it, Overwatch 2 will do it... Welcome to the future of gaming!

He should get one of those fat CRTs for his old consoles. Old games look so bad on UHDs.

Please, a 3D DK! The last DK I played was Tropical Freeze on WiiU. It was okay, but I'd much rather have a good 3D mascot platformer. It's like they stopped making them.

Never watched RWBY but I'm getting this if the reviews are favourable. Platformers are always great on Switch.

I despise scalpers but I'm also annoyed with Nintendo and their artificial scarcity bull. Can we please just get enough stock for once? I never have this problem when buying a PS game, there are always heaps of copies available at launch.

I remember years ago when AC New Leaf came out and I went to buy it only to be told that our local store only received 5 copies and they immediately sold out. This is unacceptable.

@Anti-Matter I like farm sims. I was excited about this game because I can never have too many of them.

I'll be waiting for some reviews first but I'm definitely intrigued. A metroidvania that has cats? Sold!

Why were people having meltdowns over this? It looks like it could be a lot of fun. I hope the world won't be barren and they'll put a lots of collectibles in it, Super Mario Odyssey style. Looks good so far.
