@RaTheGrey That's not what this means. It means that the game has code embedded to run at 60fps. The existing Switch almost certainly couldn't handle that, so it's not enabled currently. An update (say for Switch 2 users) will allow use of this.

It's a shame they couldn't even make this a digital release outside of the USA.

It looks like a fun game. I'll pick up a copy next year sometime.

My wife is from South America and I've never, ever heard her or any Spanish speakers I know use "Latinx".

I played for a few hours yesterday with version 1.0.0 and everything was fine. The only thing I noticed is when the camera is rotated quickly, the HUD flickers. The L icon in particular.

I've never done this. The closest I've come in Pokémon is messing around with the the Fly HM glitch to trigger encounters with random Pokémon.

He probably had an NDA of sorts in his contract.

I never really liked the Deluxe version on Game Boy Color. The way the screen scrolls ruins it for me.

Original NES version all the way! Closely followed by the SMB All-Stars version.

End of an era. I have plenty of games on both systems to keep me going and started Yo-Kai Watch last night though, so I have loads of great times ahead with the 3DS and Wii U!

The Silver Falls games only released on the NA eShop, didn't they?

My subscription to this ended a few years ago, so since I was previously a paying user, I sure hope this works.

Honestly, I'm gutted that this day has come. The 3DS is probably my favourite console alongside the PS1...and these last few weeks have made me regret not paying as much attention to the eShop over the last decade, as I always bought the majority of my games physically. As a result, I have spent WAY too much but at least this wonderful little system is now an RPG and retro game beast!

I just wish we all got the same sales.

I went with the PAL/NA one here. The dirty greens and brown at the top make it look like our heroes are in a cave, and the logo is placed perfectly.

However, I never even noticed that those were little bats at the bottom of the image! A very slightly more zoomed out version of the artwork allowing for all the beasts to be shown would have probably made more sense.

Iconic game, and deservedly so.

I'm not seeing the Donkey Kong inspiration - it looks like a Sonic game. Still, looks good for what it is.

7 out of 10 has been considered a "low" score for years now by so many people.

When will it be realised that review scores are given by the person who writes the review and are therefore an opinion. If you think the game will pique your interest, give it a shot.

I prefer Samus's pose on the NA/EU version, but I much prefer the the layout and background on the JPN cover. This swayed my vote! What a game.

I've got the PS3 version so I'm unlikely to get this latest remaster.

@GrailUK Yeah, I get that and appreciate it. I've gotten a few games in the past, three in total. The cost is too high for what they offer nowadays, I feel. If I REALLY want something, there are some alternatives out there

@GrailUK Numerous reasons. Poor customer service, massive delays without correspondence, embargos on games which later receive standard physical releases...

I managed to secure a collector's edition. I wish it included a CD or something else but I know I'll get my moneys worth from this game.

They should have included an option in menu to the effect of "View original credits".

Hollow Knight is one if the best games in the genre I've played. Such a wonderful experience. I am happy they are taking their time with this.

@PtM But they have REMASTERED the game. It's not a direct port, as such.

Tatanga in his spaceship has always seemed like such a no brainer to me.

The original version is still perfection. Seeing that so much care has gone into this remaster, a 10 seems wholly justified. Let this be the bar for remasters going forward!

A shame if it will impact some people's ability to enjoy the game, but not something which shall deter me!
