@Martijn87 Oh yes. I didn't get a huge amount of things, but I got some! Some CDs, a mug, Majora's Mask lamp, some coins...actual rewards and not smart phone wallpapers.

I miss Club Nintendo.

A Golden Sun remake with the 3D/2D style of Octopath is all I want.

I'd say LRG have a timed-exclusive, like they did with the likes of Streets of Rage 4.

@Meteoroid Yep. "Physical forever" they say. Then proceed to sell "limited" versions of PC games with codes. I'd rather miss-out than give them money again, personally.

LRG probably have a limited window to release it first. Just like Streets of Rage 4 and a few other "exclusive" titles of theirs. Terrible company.

It was one of the most fun things about the 3DS. I loved it! Some of the StreetPass games were lots of fun, too.

I find this a fairly arbitrary thing to complain about. Genres help us get a sense of what to expect, but of course there are going to be games which draw influence from multiple genres.

It sounds more like you want to know exactly what you are going to play before you even play it. Like watching all the trailers for a new movie and reading key plot points before watching it.

LRG have gone from being a company interested in preserving physical media to just being greedy.

@SwitchVogel While it being true that not all games have "aged well", I do think consideration of the technical limitations and what the developers were still able to achieve is important.

Many older games may not wow us with their (lack of) technical marvel, but I don't think it makes them any lesser. They often succeed in engaging the player in other ways.

This was the first Shantae game so maybe try looking at it that way instead of comparing to games made much later.

I don't like the outside, it's pretty underwhelming compared to the inside.

The 3DS is excellent. There's a wealth of great exclusive titles on it! The DS/3DS will continue to attract people for many, many years.

I have joy-con issues too. Sometimes they just stop working altogether and have to be forced off and recalibrated. Slight drift issues, too. It makes me not want to play the Switch so much, and I am extremely careful with my belongings.

@Silly_G Crash Team Racing has one thing I feel Mario Kart really could with - an adventure mode.

I have the special edition pre-ordered. It would be nice if that came with a code for the DLC! I'll see how much I like the game before dropping money on this 👍
