This game looks REALLY good. But no way the Switch will handle it properly.

I love Zelda, I love anime, but this didn't do anything for me. Simple slideshow with a bad choice of music.

Personally I would put Odyssey at #1, but I haven't played most of the SNES games enough to place them, other than Yoshi's Island, which would have been my clear #1 If it had been included. I am surprised that SMS and SM64 aren't higher.

I've never understood the love for SMG1 & 2. Yes, they are good, but I don't think they were better than SMS or SM64. My thoughts on them might change though, if we get 1080p remasters running at 60hz at some point, as the Wii definitely held them back a lot.

Also, SMW is good, but no where near the top. Trying to play it with 4 players is more of a pain than fun, because the camera follows one specific character, and it isn't as crazy imaginative as some of the 3D games. And the plotline is just lazy.

How does one access this? Does it require an online subscription?

Looks like a mid tier PS1 game with increased resolution.

I got a lot of SNES Shadowrun vibes from this one, and thats a good thing. Love the music, and the art.

Based on that trailer, the producers clearly had absolutely zero idea of who or what the character Tiny Tina is.

That is a very dull video.

Spiritfarer is one of the best experiences I have had in a game, and it caught me completely by surprise. Very highly recommended!!

@Ulysses no clue as I have no intention to pay for NSO. But it would surprise me if it isn’t the same version as the Wii emulation version.

This is definitely one of their weakest songs. Seems like they made a list of words they ABSOLUTELY needed to include, and then just wrote something random about it and added some riffs. And then pulled up the sword by the blade, ugh.

A pity, awesome band otherwise!

I think it comes down how it was at the time it was released. Sure, the remakes are still great games, but they don't have the same impact as when the originals were released.

For instance, OoT on N64 has blurryness in distances and short draw distances, making it visually a much more mysterious game than later releases, and it subtracts a lot from it, personally.

Yeah, that definitely hits my buy list. Very Money Island inspired.

What is the DK inspiration here? That there are palm trees? That's like saying Dark Souls is a Zelda inspired game, because there are swords.

I pretty much like all of the movie versions, short of Fix it Felix in Mario clothers.

So, no sign that looks like a tear.

This was really badly put together. Completely random footage and not worth anyones time.

What about an option for those of us who have never played a Pokemon game? I just never got one as a kid, and now that I have grown up, they seem quite shallow gameplay wise, so I never bought one.

If articles like this is going to be the norm, I will stop visiting the site. This has nothing to do with Nintendo or their games, at all.

I like the premise, and loved the trailer. But the actual looks of the game leaves quite a bit to be desired... It looks bland, lacks detail, and the animations are quite crude. Such a pity.

I get strong NES Jurassic Park vibe from the looks of it.

@johnvboy So, a scaled up Star Fox: Dinosaur Planet? A Highly underarter game that begs for a sequel with a modern engine.

That soundtrack vibe is very reminiscent of that of SNES Shadowrun.

Man it just ruins so much when characters float like this and the game doesn't move the floor in conjunction with character animations..

Great looking graphical style, and gameplay looks solid. I will likely pick this one up.

If it is really cheap, or the reviews extremely good, then I will buy it. Otherwise no, as it looks like a really cheap Wii-style game with lousy controls.

I will likely skip it. It came off as one of the weakest 3D Zeldas (Skyloft was empty, Fi was freaking annoying (And I love Navi, which says something!), story was so-so), and I have an enormous back log on the Switch anyway.

4/5 from me. Enjoyable game, with excellent artwork and music. Clever puzzles, and game building. Not too easy, not too hard.

Darn, I was really looking forward to this one.

I played a couple of games. It was okay, nothing more. Very repetitive, and skin deep IMHO.

And how the heck do people play with controllers?? Give me a mouse and keyboard any day!

An orange Joy-con, yes please, but the rest? No thanks.

Their platform would seem to cater more to mature people if they had proper online functionality, and actually updated their Switch software to be able to do things which are expected for modern platforms.

I've been wanting a Switch since it came out, but with 2 kids, spare time is not something I have plenty of, so I have been postponing buying one. And with the drift issue, a severe lack of software updates for the console (Other than stability, which is nice, but everything else appear to be missing..), barebones online functionality, and the fact that the console is 3 years old now, which is eons in hardware development time, I've decided to skip it for now.

If Nintendo releases an updated version with modern hardware (CPU/GPU, and drift fix), then I will get that on day one. Otherwise, I'll pick up a used Switch some years from now.

That's a real pity. The comics were really good, and highly recommended!

I really like the look and joyful setting of this one. But the actual gameplay looks as if the controls are pretty bad.. Will wait for a review to decide.
