Almost ten years have passed since The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword first launched on Wii alongside that lovely golden Wii Remote, and now it's back for another spin thanks to Skyward Sword HD on Nintendo Switch.
Skyward Sword's always been one of the more divisive Legend of Zelda titles, partly thanks to its not-always-accurate motion controls and its lengthy tutorial section putting some players off before they've truly begun. Of course, this new Switch release has plenty of new quality-of-life features designed to make the overall experience that bit smoother, so will that – coupled with its shiny new lick of HD paint – be enough to convince players this time around?
To find out, we're handing things over to you. Will you be buying the game? Did you play the Wii original? Cast your votes below, and feel free to expand upon your answers in the comments.
You can check out our full review of the game right here if you want to learn more about it before making your decision, or you can grab a physical copy here if you've already made up your mind. Ordered from ShopTo on May 17th, had the post today it wasn't there, sad!
Cancelled my order for the joy-cons, could probably have flipped them for a profit but I had no need for them and hopefully somebody who did want them got the chance to snap them up.
Bought the Joy-Con but not the game.
There is never a straight up "no cus I don't want it" option. Always "no with a caveat".
Yes, Ordered from Amazon, missed this on the WII back in the day. Annoyingly though, for whatever reason it wont be delivered until Tuesday.
I do urge everyone who hasn't played Skyward Sword yet to actually try it. Don't listen to what people say when they complain about motion controls or linear gameplay or Fi. You only develop an opinion after playing it.
Still undecided. Never played the original.
Does the physical game have inside box art?
Waiting for the postman. Waiting patiently
Edit. It’s here
Well that's like over a hundred people so far.
Yep. Skyward Sword is the only main series Zelda game I have only played once, and I am looking forward to an upgraded version. I won’t be playing it right away, but it is downloaded and ready to go on my Switch.
No. I bought the original last year (orchestral soundtrack included) and have no desire to double-dip.
I LOVED it on the Wii, had no issues with camera or motion controls. It's a beautifully crafted game and has so many ideas that were clearly developed and improved for BOTW. I still have my copy too so probably won't get it on the Switch but if anyone hasn't played, it's amazing and well worth it.
My copy arrived this morning, I'm quite eager to get back into it actually, after seeing that you can actually get into gameplay proper in like 15 minutes instead of nearly an hour!
Not for $60, I'm not. Nintendo can shove their greedy overpricing port nonsense
I started it on the wii but was too busy to play much at the time so it kinda of got put to the side. Motion controls aren't my favourite things so looking forward to giving it a proper shot.
You forgot one option: I played the original on Wii and I plan to get this, BUT not at THAT huge price!!
I'll wait for a sale.
I will likely skip it. It came off as one of the weakest 3D Zeldas (Skyloft was empty, Fi was freaking annoying (And I love Navi, which says something!), story was so-so), and I have an enormous back log on the Switch anyway.
@Jacoby Yep! Tri-force and watercolour panel of primary characters on either side. Looks lovely.
I’m just waiting on Hermes to deliver it so if could be anytime between now and next year
Pre-ordered it through Amazon UK the first day the listing came up, and looking at it, the delivery is expected on Thursday 22, its not even dispatched yet, ah well, need to finish Dandera anyways
But still, what is the point in pre-ordering if you don't get it on the day of launch?
Bought this one happily. Found this one pretty enjoyable when I borrowed it on Wii. Never finished it, but I felt the game stood out as a celebration of the Zelda series as a whole.
No, played it on WII, getting fed up with Nintendo now and all these remakes and no in house AAA games for ages.
It’s like I’m being punished for having a nes, SNES, n64, wii and wii u as I’ve paid and played all these remakes.
They had a great first year from in house studios, now they have abandoned new AAA games in house studio wise.
They are playing the business strategy why bother when Switch sells anyway.
Let me tell you Nintendo it’s dropping off in the UK, Switches now in stock everywhere for ages.
PS5 and series X outselling you with limited stock
You deserve a kick up your lazy back sides.
Miss Switch is dusty and alone.
No, Nope, hard no, the only fun I had the first time round with skyward sword was with the quest to find the last wii motion plus attachment in town and I don’t think the switch version can accurately replicate that.
@2ukaskew I too ordered if from Shopto, hasn't arrived today either, Royal Mail tracking states they are going to delivered tomorrow, no idea where the Joy Cons I ordered from them are either. Amazon though won't deliver my Loftwing amiibo because it was damaged before being sent & they dont have anymore.
Nope.
I am happy for everyone who loves it but I disliked the original and I don't expect the remake to change anything about that.
Another Shopto order. Mine only reached the Birmingham distribution centre today, after getting a despatch notice on Weds.
Where's the "Already played 8h" option?
Left-handed individual here, and as the original was SUPER unfriendly to my left-handedness I don't think I will be picking up this port.
I own every Zelda game and remaster except the Link's Awaking one. (Still have not gotten to that yet) i will get this at some point but i dont know if i will play it anytime soon. I still need to play TP HD for the wii u......i bought that at launch but stopped after first dungeon and then waited too long then BOTW ruined all past 3D Zeldas for me and its hard to go back lol
I'll get it and load up the game but will be on wait list to play after MHS2.
NO. Not on this moment.
If they actually remade it then I would have , but I’m not paying that much for a HD touch up
@HalloHerrNoob aint getting it either
@Dezzy70 looks like a true NintenDoomed fandom who needs a better outlook in life itself and Switch has nothing to do with your poor lifestyle. If you have issues get a proper diagnosis for your issues.
@Natsura How was it unfriendly? I’m left handed and I’m pretty sure you could change it to left handed mode.
@ModdedInkling never played it.
Not getting it. Did not like it on wii. Too repetitive and crappy controls.
Actually fired up my wii again after 10 years. And bought a couple of old gems. Got both mario strikers and boom blox smash party. Really looking forward to playing them againnafter all this time.
Playing it as I type (well nearly as I can't multi task) and loving it!! Great addition to the switch games collection! Roll on TMNT Shredders revenge next
Sure, going to dive deep in it, since I will be playing this for FREE so no worries with the $60 price tag 😁😁😁
@Natsura Same. I am very strongly left-handed and this isn't going to work for me. Even the new button controls require using the right stick to swing your weapon directionally. I don't do well with that kind of thing.
It might surprise me, but I'm not gambling $60 on that slim chance.
Have to go pick mine up from GameStop later. Only played the game once originally back in the day. Mainly because with Wii U and Switch I do a bigger portion of my gaming handheld mode. Now with traditional controls I can. I realize a lot of people are put off by the $60 price, but doesn’t bother me. I’ll get money’s worth out of it. It would be nice if these ports were a little cheaper than the new games, but that’s reality these days.
You need a yes but later option.
I’ll pick it up but not right now, I just got Mario Golf, Tony Hawk, and Xenoblade Chronicles 1 lol
@Hughesy there was no way to change it to left-handed mode. At least there was no actual option titled, "Left-handed Mode" or "Mirror mode" or something of the like. I never beat Skyward Sword, because I am not used to holding the Wiimote in my right hand... I always held it in my left hand when playing other games like Wii Sports, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Super Paper Mario, etc... Skyward Sword was literally the first game that FORCED me to try to hold the Wiimote in my right hand.
@JasmineDragon
And too bad the Switch's remapping options don't let you swap R and L sticks.
@JasmineDragon Same here. The devs should definitely have thought more about us left-handed gamers... heck Link prior to Skyward Sword USED TO BE LEFT-HANDED!
@skycargav2000
If it helps, treat Breath of the Wild as if it wasn't a Zelda game.
Nah, I’m good. Enjoy for those getting it.
@ModdedInkling that helps lol but I dont think we will ever get a New Zelda game in the future that is not like BOTW
@SwitchForce
I have switch and it’s fact not fiction.
I would have purchased a switch OLED, if they had something new from in house AAA studios.
I know their studios are tiny but come on, what have their in house teams AAA only, released in recent years, nothing of any significance.
It gets mentioned on here a lot, they to busy building theme parks, Lego, cardboard toys, slippers, t shirt and night wear 😂😂😂
@SwitchForce
Also I never said Nintendo were doomed, I said they making business and they are doing well.
Did you not see I have owned every Nintendo home console since release, and I forgot the GameCube in my list, silly me. Also the DS and 3DS.
I’m putting it on my Christmas list, but not seeking it out at the moment.
Never played the original game, so may pick this up.
You bet your sweet, sweaty, backside I'm getting it today!
I own the original and played it a decade ago. I am not spending $60 on a game I already own.
@Snaplocket yeah 100% I'm not gunna buy it for fill price I will wait for it to drop a little as it will because its a remaster nintendo exclusive. I still got monster hunter stories 2 to play which is pretty amazing (apart from the occasional 25fps drop)
I started the original on Wii years ago, but after about two hours in, I gave up because of how tedious it was. As soon as I began the Remaster when it time-unlocked digitally this morning, I’ve been delighted. The motion controls are so much better and are actually fun to perform. Stick only controls are a little tricky to figure out at first, but a worthy alternative.
As for the art style, everything really pops and fits the tone of this as being the ancient origin of the legend. It’s like some grand painting on a massive cathedral ceiling relating an epic’s origin.
I cannot wait to, pun not intended, dive back in later today!
Yes will be my first time playing it and I can’t wait.
@skycargav2000
Because there are multiple teams working on Zelda, we are bound to be getting a new 2D game sometime in the future.
@1UP_MARIO nice 😊
@ModdedInkling yea exactly, its still a zelda game
I have it and I liked it! Not my favourite, but I loved the motion controls, really felt new and exciting. That said, while I don’t dislike it as strongly as everyone else I know, I’ve not much interest in replaying it on Switch. If I did I’d boot up the Wii. For me it’s so tied to that console, controller and point-in-time (got to streetpass at the concert in London, play the E3 demos at the ignored booth at GAMEFest, enjoy the game with sibling over Christmas…good times!)
That said hope new players enjoy the remaster!
I pre ordered it. I think it's a great game but the standard def graphics looked TERRIBLE on my TV at the time (a plasma that was great for HD but SD stuff always looked bad). New graphics plus QoL features means I'll love it. I also just found the skyward sword joy cons at best buy..... Now to decide if I use them or keep them sealed...
@Dezzy70 Lol I can picture it now...the managers walking into the studios at Nintendo HQ. "Where's the Mario team?" "Oh they've all been posted to Denmark to make Lego..."
"Where's the Mario Kart team?" "Oh they've got their shovels and pickaxes out over at Universal building the mini theme park..."
"Where's Miyamoto?" "Oh he's in the factory across the road, sitting at a sewing machine putting t-shirts together..."😂
I bought the joy-cons, amiibo and the game, but I'll wait before I play it. I'll lend it to my sister in the meantime.
There should be an option for… Playing another game and waiting to beat it. I also want to wait for the Amibo card Because I’m buying the bootleg Amibo
Is there an option for, "I'd rather play anything else?"
@WiltonRoots
😂 I’m sure they are not doing that but a few years of absence AAA in house game wise makes you wonder where they have been.
My joy cons from Amazon are out for delivery, and my game from 365 has been dispatched, but didn't arrive today. Gonna be my first time playing.
@Snaplocket add it to your wishlist on the eShop. Nintendo will notify you when it drops in price. You may be able to score it for $39.99 around the holidays.
Yes, this will be my first time with Skyward Sword. Having said that, it'll have to wait until early next month, before I pick a copy up.
The original was my first Zelda game and I've always had a soft spot for it, but I (once again) can't justify repurchasing a game I already own for $60. Hopefully this follows Link's Awakening's path and has a good sale every so often.
I really didn't like this one. I quit it early on and watched my brother finish his playthrough. Incredibly forgettable with annoying characters like Impa and Groose.
Just dropped through my letter box. Looking forward to diving in!
Yep had it pre-ordered.
@progx it just released, if it happens then only happen after 16/07/2022.
I played the original, turned it off after a little while. Certainly not buying a game that bored me again.
I'm not buying it personally, as it's FAR from the best game in the Zelda franchise to be honest.
Nintendo should have completely rebuild OOT and Majora's Mask from the ground up, for the 35th anniversary.
Skyward Sword isn't a bad game, it's definitely lacking something though.
The original was flawed but interesting so I'm in. The QoL fixed address a lot of the problems and the new control scheme seems very cool.
I beat the game twice on Wii. NEVER AGAIN will I touch Skyward Sword! It's complete garbage IMO. There are interesting ideas at some points, but I hate most everything about it.
I think the remaster improvements they've made sound great, but even without all the annoying tutorials and such, it's just not a good game.
The only parts I really liked were the final dungeon and final boss.
Got the amiibo and Joy-Cons and will get the game at a later date. Got to get the limited stuff first. I can always fish out my Wii U for the time being if needed.
You should have another option “ I will pick it up when it is at the super rare $39.99 sale price years down the road “
@Dman10 If this were the Wii U lean years, I would buy it at launch. With the Switch’s massive library, I can wait on this one.
A summer release gives it enough time to where we might see some Black Friday sales (or affordable used copies).
Will buy when I get a new job, a great game that I enjoyed back in 2011. Kinda put up with the motion controls so looking forward to play properly on switch lite. But more of a Xmas game for me xxx
Not worth the money at all - disappointed now. So backwards compared to recent Zelda releases - wind waker is so much better than this - camera and controls are not right
Want to send back
Seems to be that the loudest complainers are in the minority and doesn't look to have impacted interest too much. Its like the Sword and Shield pokedex scandal all over again.
I never got the chance to play the original, so I was eager to play this. Then, everybody talked about the horrible controls and slow pacing, etc. That left me undecided. Now that the final reviews are in, they seem to like it, so I think I'll give it a chance. I wish it was a little bit cheaper, though.
I played through the original game on the Wii back in the day and swore I would never go back! But here I am today with it downloaded again and ready to jumó back in!
I already bought it for 45 bucks in a local store. I did never buy it on Wii.
Yep, once it gets here lol.
@luckiernut you never know. Also, you can add preorders to your wishlist. I have No More Heroes III on there right now.
I'm with everyone that's asking where the 'wait for a reasonable price drop' option is for this. I got time to wait til then.
Mine is out for delivery. Here’s to hoping that the handheld controls work well enough for me. I loathed the motion controls on the original (it’s the only console Zelda I’ve given up on).
Wish I got it before I closed my bank account. Moving across the USA literally coast to coast. :/
Bought it but haven't touched it. It's get your drink on Friday, woot woot! (Aussie here, so don't be alarmed by timey wimey ness, it's actually 1am on a Saturday!)
My buddy is downloading it and he is on my NSO family plan so I'll download it for free as its only 7GB.
It arrived a couple of hours ago and joy cons are due this evening. Happy days.
I was actually looking forward to this one and I will get it but Nintendo needs to stop with the ports now and get some proper new AAA's out stat, it's starting to get pretty old already.
We are brainwashed. We’ll buy whatever Nintendo puts out, even begrudgingly.
The only way I would play this again for full price is if I had the time to play through it with my brother again like I did the first time. That was a great memory and the only way I would want to play it.
I'll probably get it at some point, but I just boyg Monster Hunter Stories 2, so I'll probably wait for a price drop next year
£35 at Curry’s with gift code NEXTDAYGAME (can click and collect too).
Been very critical of how this port was looking but with the improvements outlined in reviews, I bit at that price. £30-35 should really just be the cost for this kind of remaster anyway. Definitely wouldn’t have bothered at £50.
Finally got a switch, and just started Breath of the Wild. Sooooo… maybe in 2022??! 🤷🏻♂️
joycon and amiibo came today and i'm just waiting for my copy from nintendo uk to arrive sometime within the next few days now
I've never played it. I always wanted to. I'm excited to try it! When I'm free this afternoon, I may give it a shot as I have it downloaded and ready to go!
@Dpullam Does it have some multiplayer element (like the Tingle Tuner in Wind Waker) or do you just watch/share the controller?
My copy arrives next tuesday and my joycon/amiibo until next friday. Sad days.
@moonymarauder Maybe some are. But I think most people just buy the games they think actually look good. Otherwise every Nintendo game would sell 30+ million like Animal Crossing.
My thoughts 2 minutes before I downloaded this game: “pfft, hell no...NOT paying $80 Cad for this game...” 😆
The picture for this reminded me that I broke my shield before I turned the game off last night, lol. It really is the father of BotW..
Nope. If they ported over A Link Between Worlds probably but I like the new Breath of the Wild format too much to go back.
Yes, but not right now because I'm broke (and even then, Metroid Dread is the highest priority right now).
I didn't like the original Skyward Sword so no. Also, I've been playing nothing but Breath of the Wild for months and am still only on 55ish hours...
@Lyricana It is just the controller sharing aspect and enjoying the adventure together.
@ModdedInkling funny thing. I actually found Skyward Sword for Wii a few years ago on GameStop but I didn’t get it because I wasn’t too into Zelda. But I will probably get this HD version someday
It seems almost like fate that today is also 1st day of a 10 day vacation, 3 of my boys and I are off to camp while wife works next few with our other son, and we have 2 copies of this on our 3 switch’s to play between doing camp stuff. going to be a nice week
Playing it now. The first 10 minutes already show a much more cool Zelda and Link than any other game.
@Jacoby yes it does
@ModdedInkling I honestly can't tell if you're agreeing with me or being sarcastic, but it feels like the latter. Is remapping controls a thing that you can do from the Switch's main settings? I've never done that, don't even know if the Switch has that option.
If this is something that you can do, obviously it's a good thing, but I also don't feel like that's something users should be required to do. The game should have it built in. I really don't want to go change my Switch's whole control scheme every time I start playing Skyward Sword and again when I want to play a different game. If we were talking about the greatest game ever made, maybe I'd do it so I could say yes, I have completed the masterpiece that is Skyward Sword - but I won't do it for a game that is just "pretty good", and the consensus seems to be that SS is indeed "pretty good".
Seems most people are getting it. And I have seen much more good responses from people than people complaining it is sixty bucks
I want to play it but I don't think I'm going to play it soon so I guess I'll wait for a sale? Still waiting on a Link's Awakening sale so who knows lol
Nope, not getting it for this price. Xenoblade Chronicles actually got massively redone graphics and soundtrack, not to mention being a fat3 superior game in general; that was worth that price.
This is not. Might get it off it drops by half, I guess.
Cya
Raziel-chan
Yes, got my copy in the post today, will be getting stuck into it this evening....
I had it on Wii but only played roughly a third of it as I didn't like the forced motion controls.
Hoping the HD coat of paint and new button controls give the game a new lease of life... I'm sure they will...
Anyone skipping this is missing out.
I view this as the best Zelda game and I have been playing them since the original NES release.
Most important to a Zelda game are dungeons puzzles and boss fights. On those categories this is the pinnacle of the series. If your hating on this game just because you categorize it as a gimmicky Wii game you are wrong. I also strongly feel this game has the best combat story and characters and character development of the series. All 3D Zelda start slow so I don’t get why this one gets extra hate. All helper characters can be annoying at times too. Plus the blurring of the line between dungeon and overworld is an overlooked game changer, I don’t get how you can call this world empty when it’s always engaging and challenging you and giving you puzzles. The silent realms are tense and exciting in my view as well. I don’t get complaining about them or tadtones as these were inventive gameplay mechanics that involved challenge and puzzle solving and I found them engaging. Riding around in a field on epona or sailing not so much.
Yep, It's one of the Zelda games I haven't touched before. I've got a Wii but I wanted to see what an updated version would be like ever since they did remasters of 3d Zelda's through out this past decade.
From what I have learned about the game prior and all the fixes and tweaks to it. I can't wait to see how fans who either got into this series through breath of the wild, folks who hated this game out of the gate, and people who didn't pick this game up at launch all take to it. Links Awakening HD being a remake of a 2d game had a long gap of time, was once a classic, and also non comparable.
Yup, my copy is coming later today.
@JasmineDragon
Oh no, I never intended to come off as sarcastic. I too feel disappointed that Nintendo wasn't as flexible as they should be, especially for a game that involves motion controls.
It's a shame, considering how easy it is. They could've easily mirrored the whole layout to give left-handed players the option to use the sword with their left hand, or even just the option to use southpaw controls.
The irony hits pretty hard as well, if you look at most of the other games Nintendo released.
yes! arrived today togheter with the AMAZING amiibo...
I do feel there should be a "hasn't played in on Wii or Switch but will on Wii". I do plan on eventually playing this game, but full price for a remaster of a ten year old game is too much for me. I'd rather just buy the far cheaper Wii U VC option which is still live as of this comment's posting.
Wow, surprised that this is going to be many people’s first time playing Skyward Sword. I picked up a copy today for a younger sibling and tried it out a bit. Hard to understate this: the bump from 480p 30 FPS to 1080p 60 FPS is a high step up; the resolution bump isn’t as drastic an improvement as found is Wind Waker and Twilight Princess IMHO, but the framerate bump is something else (particularly after experiencing the terrible framerate drops found in Breath of the Wild). The new controls are overall good. I was worried that the Switch wouldn’t be able to replicate the motion controls found in the original, but the new motion controls (at least for the sword) are as good as or even better than the original. Buttons only controls are also good. I’m still not sure if I’ll pick up a copy, as I still have the original on the Wii U and was planning to replay it.
@JasmineDragon can’t you use the operating system on the switch to customize the controls to your left hand?
@ModdedInkling i hope. Loved Link to the past in 3ds but not sure since they have merged hanheld and console teams if we get a brand new 2d zelda outside of a remake like Awakenings. Fingers crossed for sure!
I’m really enjoying this game alot
Missed it on the wii u so it’s my first time
Downloading it now from the eshop...people can breathe a sigh of relief now that SixtyDollarGate is finally reaching an end and will be completely forgotten about in about 3 weeks. Looking forward to the next storm in a teacup.
I’ll definitely get it at some point, but am not getting it right now. I have enough games I’ve bought and not played through yet. Playing Wind Waker HD right now. I preordered Metroid Dread though, because I think I’ll play it right away.
I live in japan and got it day one . I was in the fence as I gave up playing it on Wii U did it like the art style and thought I might still not enjoy it, after one hour playing it and taking my time to get out of skyloft, dear lord how Gorgeous has that game become. The frame rate is great and the hd truly gave this game a new youth. I’m glad I bought it
This game isn’t half as bad as a lot of people here doom posted about
i had it for the wii, then i gave it to my son, now i was able to get it for the switch. it is also good that a lot of people never played it and are experiencing for the first time. it is good that nintendo does this.
First time player. Played about an hour and a half and I'm loving it, like the story, the music is great and the motion controls feel really smooth although I did think it had crashed at one point, but that was down to me not holding a sword aloft...doh! Need to get more sword training in.
Probably not. This is the only Zelda I did not like that I’ve played( I never played thru the cdi games or phantom hour glass or spirit tracks). It had its moments but I just remember getting to a point I wished I could get thru it already. Really hated a certain boss over and over and the overworld was pretty bland.
I played Skyward Sword on Wii and did not enjoy it. Ironically, the motion controls are the only part I liked, whereas everyone else seemed to hate them. They were smooth. You could swing your sword while running and slashing in the right direction to hit enemies was fun elegant combat design. I also liked the art style. But everything else was bad. Bad structure, bad level design, everything.
@HalloHerrNoob Same. Didn't even finish it.
@ModdedInkling I've watched long-plays of it to get the idea, it doesn't look like it's for me.
@BloodNinja
Watching is a different experience from playing it. I learned that the hard way for some games like Splatoon.
@skycargav2000
I think it's more worth focusing on said remakes and re-releases before moving onto a new game. There are some games that either need QoL improvements or simply be re-released.
@ModdedInkling To a point! If the game doesn't grab me when I'm watching it, I know I'm not gonna enjoy it while playing. I know myself enough to know this!
Probably get it at some point, but no rush. Just got a PS5 and was out off SS by the Amiibo kerfuffle.
For anyone in the U.K. and on the fence, you can get it for £34.99 from Currys using code NEXTDAYGAME and choosing Standard Delivery.
I was worried about playing this again (a traditional Zelda) after putting so much time into BOTW.
I am glad I got this. It looks fantastic (YouTube comparison videos do not do justice here IMO), and the controls work so much better than the original Wiimote+ (I was ok with the original).
I only played through this once on the Wii. I have forgotten most of the games detail. Story is so engaging compared to BOTW.
Only played for 5 hours last night (spent 30 minutes trying to beat my bamboo chopping score)
Picked up my pre-order yesterday, have not been able to prise the joycons out of my kids' hands long enough to have a proper go of it myself yet.
Tonight or tomorrow, hopefully...
@ModdedInkling I'm so relieved! So many people want to fight around here lately, I've started to assume the worst every time I comment.
I dislike the spin attack in handheld mode...
I hope the release an update that allow you to shake the switch horizontaly for the spin attack and vertically for the finishing blow.
I will be getting it, for the first time, but not right now. i'm just gonna wait for a bit until i feel like I'm ready to play it as i'm very inexperienced with the series. i played through BOTW and loved it and when i was a wee nipper, i played phantom hourglass, i never finished it but it was reallllly good from what i remember (i'm gonna buy a copy soon and play through it to check)
I bought it and will maybe play it some day. Had it on Wii and I'm one of these gamers who are unable to play with motion controls, so the game saw my Wii after an hour never again.
