@Oni Wow gee! I never would have guessed that we were talking about ragebound in a topic about ragebound. Its a 2D platformer, sometimes you hafta do platforming in tight narrow corridors. People who say that everything is a metroidvania either don't know that other genres exist, or are doing it to provoke arguments. At this point, I'm leaning towards the latter.

I just wish the sprites were bigger. I don't understand the trend of teeny sprites on a busy screen. That's my only nitpick.

I don't know if I'd classify nintendo's music as pop? And Sega games had a lot of upbeat, trancy, and trippy music too.

@sdelfin Because you're complaining about a large adventure game being exactly that. I won't deny that it dragged around Ryoshima Coast, but plenty of games in that genre have areas like that.

Do you guys think this will come on the switch, the new switch, or both?

Maan, the logic twisting that some people will go to to justify their own lies and pretend that this isn't a sequel, just because they don't like it is ridiculous! Your opinion does not equal facts. 🙄 Okami has Two Games with a Third on the way. That's just the plain old truth.

Lots of sequels reuse formulas, while adding new elements and even characters. So your complaint doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Points to Capcom's Mega Man, Konami's classic Castlevania, and Gamefreak's Pokemon as prime examples

@sdelfin It's a sprawling adventure game. Complaining about that is like complaining that a tetris game is too repetitive. It's supposed to be big and give the player lots to do.

@springer17 For me it was a hit-and-miss. I liked MLP Optimus Prime, the Jurassic Park jeep, Ecto-1, and Knight Rider. I wasn't that enthused with the DeLorean, Top Gun, Dracula, and Frankenstein. I'm surprised hasbro didn't more crossover stuff with their own franchises? It woulda been cool to get the Rockin Roadster, one vehicle each from GI Joe/Cobra, and M.A.S.K.

Final Fantasy. I started a new team with my two favorite classes, Fighter and Red Mage.

Nope. Returns is the second worst DK game I've ever played.

Yeah I remember having a pack of soft, rubbery feeling neon dinosaurs as a kid, and even then they started getting little tears and cracks. This is cool stuff.

I really like Toejam and Earl 2. But as always, I'd rather own then rent it.

@KY502ShinyHunter I'll agree on the music. I love Johto despite its ridiculous leveling curve. The trainers calling you up and the passengers on the ship help mitigate that issue.

For $50? Hahaha no.

That does not look appealing.
