I took a look at the gameplay and it wasn't as interesting as I'd believed.

The modern vanias are smooth.
Plus Super, Bloodlines, and Ecclesia have movements like whip swinging, and that thingy where Shanoa pulls herself back like a bow and shoots upwards.

We haven't had a brand new classic vania in years. And I don't think this will be a classic, based on the physics movements.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Recently got out of Mt. Pyre.

Everything went by so fast. I didn't really feel like it was worth it to watch.

Doesn't surprise me. Pokemon usually sells well.

@Zeebor15 I never said it was an indie game. I'm simply pointing out the term has been around for a long time. BUT the company they hired to make it is an indie team. So I suppose that's why its on that showcase. Either way, its a weird decision.

Zelda 2 is a challenging but mostly fair game. Certainly not inaccessible at all. Yet, you want it to adapt a formula that will make it very unfair, inaccessible, and aggravating @Ollie Reynolds? Why?

A Link Between Worlds is mostly Past remade, with completely revamped dungeons, a new gimmick, new story and new antagonists. I don't know what you'd call it, to tell you the truth?

@LikelySatan From what I understand, Konami hired some other team to make it. I'll admit I'm a little unsure, because I'd rather Konami had done it themselves. But I'm excited, and I'll pick it up anyways.

@Anti-Matter Played the first 2 games on the Genesis at a friend's house. The controls are janky, hit detection is weird, and its overall very mediocre and not much fun. Maybe they'll manage to make a decent game?

Those are neat and I like it. But at that price forget it! I already have a nice zelda one that holds my switch+10 games that I bought at DD's Discounts for faaaar less cash.

@kfflscnt In fairness, there has also been depth and the ability to tackle mature themes (not the murderous TnA kind) in kid's animated films with sensitivity. Can't expect every kid's film to be like Land Before Time, Iron Giant, Fern Gulley and Secret of NIMH either. But its wrong to say that all kid's films are harmless, light-hearted fluff.

@larryisaman I agree with you. Its Illumination. They're not exactly known for making timeless, childhood classics like Disney, Bluth and Ghibli. Their films are ususlly mediocre to decent at best.

I mean, Nintendo started mixing properties in media all the way back in the 80s, so why not?
