If this drops to $5 or so someday I will pick it up I am sure. This is my favorite genre of games and a quick 6-8 hour campaign is always welcome after beating a meatier game. I also read mediocre scores for the Metroidvania Ghost 1.0 and actually thought it was very good when I completed it so I'm always open to try something new
I would absolutely love a Luigi's Mansion (1+2) collection to drop before the third one next year. Both games (1 in particular) aren't super long so a combo pack would be perfect for $30 or so. Make it happen Nintendo!
This is actually good news for me as there is nothing I want from this list. My holiday sale backlog is absolutely insane right now and I need to keep chipping away. I am about 8 hours into The Messenger right now and WOW.... that game is amazing. I am afraid I played the best backlog game first!
I love this! I have beaten world of light and have nearly all of the existing spirits as of now (sitting at around 1,100. I was just thinking that after I collected them all I would be a bit sad, but this will keep me coming back to single player if they keep offering various events. Hope we get some cool third part events down the line!
@OorWullie I have recently played both of your “up next” games and if you are open to recommendations I would 100% recommend steam world dig 2! You can beat it in a couple days and it is a great “chill” experience. Can’t go wrong with either though
I have owned every of one these during their heyday other than the Virtual Boy (though my neighbor did have one when it came out which I played often).
While I think it's silly to rank anything like this, it was a fun trip down memory lane and a reminder that Nintendo has been a part of my life since I unwrapped my NES for Christmas when I was 5 years old.
@Antraxx777 Palutena was my second to last one I unlocked (prob took me 10 tries!). My toughest one however was Greninja...UGH at least 15 tries before finally prevailing!
I agree with some of the others in the fact this looks WAY too zoomed out for me. I play my switch 90% of the time in handheld due to my travel schedule and I think this would be a problem for me. Will wait for a review to see if this is addressed
I want this SO bad for my 20+ Pinball FX tables. While taking one joy-con off and holding the system vertically is certainly viable this would make it so so much better. I am going to purchase today and hope it arrives ASAP!
I have a long flight coming up this weekend so this might be perfect for it. I downloaded Severed yesterday for $7 on sale as well! Looking forward to my flights
I will give this go sometime in 2019 as it's always been on my shame list of never played games. Not sure how if I will enjoy it given how dated I am sure it is but will try it out
Really happy to see a great collection get even better. I am surprised how much I enjoyed playing through these and could see me revisiting them quite often. I would love to see more of these types of arcade hidden gem collections moving forward
God I hope this is legit... Banjo in there would just be so perfect (and also means a lot more down the line for the Microsoft / Ninty partnership). N64 Classic would be MUCH better with Blast Corps
15 hours into Ghost 1.0 and nearly the end I feel. I cannot recommend this game enough while it's on sale for $5 right now in the e-shop. Once I beat that this weekend I will just play some Pinball FX and Picross until Friday when the world ends for RDR.
I will be buying WindJammers next week for sure... loved it so much in the arcades as a kid.
Also, I picked up Ghost 1.0 on sale early this week ($5!!). I wasn't expecting much, but loving Metroidvanias I thought for the price I would give it a go. WOW, I absolutely love this game and am having trouble putting it down. I absolutely include this as one of the best games on Switch so far and cannot believe I payed the same price as a Starbucks Coffee for it. I am over 10 hours in now and still have a ways to go. Highly recommend while it's on sale
This was one of those PS+ "free" games I downloaded, played for a few days, loved, moved on the something else, forgot about, and then deleted a few months later.
I will say though the matches I had against buddies online for those few days were frantic and hilarious.
I am getting the Picross game today for sure. I know absolutely nothing about source material though....hope it's not too obscure. I figure any Picross is better than no Picross
Nothing for me this week (will get FIFA eventually). I downloaded The End is Nigh earlier this week for $5 and started it last night. Man, I love this game so much, can't believe I skipped it previously.
I did not enjoy the last one nearly as much as the first three... I am hoping this one gets back on track. These games and hands down the best party games around
God I cannot wait for this! Still can't believe people are complaining about this, but to each their own I guess. For the price of a nice lunch I will play NES games all year with my buddies from around the world.

This is the first I have heard of this one.... I hope they find their footing and put it out in 2019 as it looks great
Re: Nindie Round Up: Solar Flux, Dreamwalker, Bring Them Home, Rain World and Mech Rage
I really like the round-ups! There are simply too many games released to review everything and this is a nice alternative. Happy New Year Everyone!
Re: Review: Koloro - A Capable Yet Ultimately Forgettable Puzzle-Platformer
There just isn't enough time in the day to play 6/10 games anymore.... good problem to have I suppose
Re: Unreleased NES SimCity Gets Preserved, Publicly Released
I can only imagine how cumbersome this must be on the NES. Love that they released it to the public though!

Re: Video: 11 Things Nintendo Needs to Do in 2019
It’s funny, out of all those great ideas I would want a folder system as my top pick. I have so so many games and would LOVE to be able to file them
Re: Review: Sundered: Eldritch Edition - An Enjoyable But Challenging Take On The Metroidvania Format
Might give this a go once my backlog calms down... I downloaded 13 games during that insane winter sale last month and have only played one so far!

Re: Out Run Is The Next Sega AGES Title Racing Onto The Switch eShop
Day 1 for me when this eventually drops in the west. Now just bring on After Burner as well and I will be one happy Sega Arcade Camper

Re: Pianista: The Legendary Virtuoso Will Bring A Classical Dose Of Rhythm Action To Switch
I just want to listen to a long play of this game... Looks too frantic for me, however the music is so soothing.

Re: A New Superhero Is Headed To Switch In 2D Platformer Leopoldo Manquiseil
Looks a bit too floaty for me with the physics. These tough platforms need perfect physics to work (see Celeste or Mutant Mudds)
