Nothing for me this week!
Lot of shovelware this week. There is a slot machine game coming out today, the embodiment of shovelware.
I’ve got Super Mario Party preloaded and ready to goooooo! It’s looking like a lot of fun.
Super Mario Party!
you think theyll have a Telltale sale before they delist everything?
Honestly my backlog is at the point where the only game for switch I’m buying for the rest of the year is Smash...and yeah, I’ll probably cave during Black Friday/Cyber Monday and buy the Capcom beat em up bundle 😋
Super Mario Party. I have it preloaded and bought another set of joy cons. Super excited for it. Hoping it can replace Mario Party 2. One of the only reasons i still play Wii u from time to time.
My birthdays tomorrow and I’m hoping that my mum gets me Mario party
Super Mario Party for me tomorrow (physical).
I downloaded The Messenger and Hollow Knight yesterday. Picked up DB fighterZ last week so I should be good for now😁
The Sisters title could be worth it after a heavy markdown. Got the original version for under 10 bucks on each platform back when it graced the Wii U and PS3. 30's just a bit high here.
Mark of the Ninja for me, though I wish it were out today. I don't understand this thing with some downloadable games coming out Thursday and others on Tuesday. I'd like to play it this weekend, because next weekend I'm likely to be obsessed with Luigi's Mansion!
Meh... this is almost as bad as a Mobile line-up.
Just finished Torna, and have Valky4. I'll be fine for a bit.
Just Super Mario Party for me
@w00dm4n the company still exists, nothing will be delisted. Even if they collapse completely another company will buy their IP, the games aren't going anywhere.
@ButterCup: Happy early birthday, God bless, have many more!
@Everyone_Else: I'll be having a look into SMP. Some of those games sound like junk; like that Sexy Poker, and other "games" on WiiWare. Lol. Quality games.
Shovelware. Shovelware everywhere.
Finally - I’ve been waiting for Animated Jigsaws: Japanese Women
@justin233 That's a really good game. GotY quality, worth buying the Switch to play jigsaw.
Why do ACA Neo Geo games release in America one week later than in Europe?
And this week we don't even know what game's turn is yet. In Europe I mean.
I'll pick up Midnight Sanctuary eventually if it reviews well, but otherwise I think I'm good for the foreseeable future (well, until Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Wargroove, or something similarly exciting releases).
I’d get Mario party but I don’t have joy cons and don’t want to shell out however much it is for them plus the games cost.
Where’s the EU update?
Nothing for me. I have a trip coming up with my daughter for a wedding . All my money is going to that.
@Moroboshi876 ACA games release across all regions concurrently. Someone at Nintendo of America fell asleep and screwed something up a while ago and it’s never been corrected, unbelievably.
@Mando44646 You obviously wrote this "all games are shovelware" by mistake.
"Animated Jigsaws: Japanese Women" sounds like a horribly misogynistic and possibly racist direction for the "Saw" movies to take, even by the standards of that franchise. Interesting that they went the animation route this time, though.
Kind of a slow week it seems. I'll wait to get Mario party. On a side note, and unrelated at that, I saw on the NA website Save Me Mr Tako is coming out on the 30th of October! With that said no more purchases this month other than dark souls! Can't wait for these two. https://nicalis.com/games/savememrtako
@DrJiggle Not sure how mere mentioning of a nationality constitutes racism, but alright.
"Hot Gimmick Cosplay-jong (Zerodiv, Today, $20.00) The No. 1 Mahjong arcade game is coming back to Nintendo Switch! The basic mode is playing with NPC. Of course, you are able to enjoy one mahjong after another with girl."
....wat
@NinChocolate Yes, until some time ago they were synced, but it changed. A shame.
Mark of the ninja will be all for me this week.
I've been on an indie downloading binge streak on the Switch since summer began. I am disappointed that this week the only game I am interested in is Mario Party.

My next two purchases will be Marble It Up! and Mark of the Ninja.
@onex Check out the full description for it on the Eshop, it's quite funny and all written in the finest 'Engrish'. It's made by Psikyo of Strikers 1945, Gunbird 2 and Tengai fame but for some reason costs twice as much.
@OorWullie
Anyway, I feel like" who are you guys?". That's it.
Hahahaha.. I feel like I just read a line of script for The Room.
|sf>Normally, I've enjoyed the Psikyo titles I've bought and Jigsaw/Picross/puzzle genre games are games I enjoy, but that jigsaw text description makes me afraid for what its ESRB rating might be. Besides, it has the bad luck of being against Super Mario Party, Disgaia 1, and Tuesday's new Pinball FX 3 Williams pinball tables.
I should be getting Super Mario Party from Amazon tomorrow, though I am concerned that it has still not shipped yet. They’ve delivered games late before, and when they do, I call and complain. They give me $15 credit every time that happens.
@thesilverbrick I might end up in the same boat (they haven't shipped mine yet either) so thanks for the advice in case that happens, heh.
I still have yet to play my actual copy of Disgaea DS I bought after getting a refund from a scummy amazon seller who sent me batteries instead of the game.
Mario Party is preloaded! Looking forward to seeing if this revives the series.
...I got Disgaea 5 instead. lol
Mark of the Ninja all the way...
I am getting the Picross game today for sure. I know absolutely nothing about source material though....hope it's not too obscure. I figure any Picross is better than no Picross
Was interested in Disgaea 1 complete, but at $65 + tx (ouch), I'll pass....
A couple of diamonds, mostly... "stuff", lol. Nothing I'm downloading, but here goes BBRP (Buy/Backlog/Rent/Pass):
Batman: The Enemy Within — I liked the first one, minus the bugs, but I will hold out for a physical copy, or a heavily discounted sale. Backlogged.
True Fear: Forsaken Souls — If there's one thing I've always loved and was starved from for two gaming console generations is brawlers and point-and-clicks. This generation has them spades, but this one in particular...? Hmm... It seems to have a hint of hidden object, which I despise, and it looks cheap. As much as I don't want to, I will test out the demo. If I like it, backlogged. If I don't, pass.
The Midnight Sanctuary — Visual Novel... Another my favorite categories. The plot sounds intriguing, but looking at the game in action? Something doesn't grab me about it for some reason. Maybe a review will change that. Not interested enough to backlog, so it'll be a pass for now.
Definitely buying Disgaea 1 soon.
Nintendolife, please stop listing last weeks Arcade Archives releases and list this weeks instead. ACA NeoGeo Zupapa! came to the US eShop today.
Animated Jigsaw: Japanese Women = Game of the Year All YearsTM
@ButterCup happy birthday, I hope you get your game.
Nothing for me. I need to save for Christmas.
EU update still MIA eh..
Downloaded Giana Sisters last week.
Downloaded batman & kof 2001
Nothing for me and I am happy about it. I am catching up. Dark Souls comes out soon so...yeah.
Disgaea 1 for sure!
Super Mario Party... probably.
Batman the Enemy within on the wishlist.
Nothing for me, I'll be getting Mario Party and Disgaea physical sooner or later. I just got Overcooked on the eShop - have been wanting it for a while but physical copies are $40 and it's $10 in the eShop now, so it was an easy choice to make.
@DockEllisD that's a crazy part with Nintendo. Always has the most expensive version of something unless a sale. Surprised another disgaea version and $40 compared to steam's $15. Is the hd possibly worth anything?
Hot Gimmick!!!
EU update still unannounced. Not that it can't be checked manually on the eShops (nothing awfully interesting), but a comprehensive list would be nice.
@JasmineDragon Is Overcooked still worth buying now that Overcooked 2 is out? I've hovered over this buy button
@Moroboshi876 poor stuff really not known them to miss us off before!
Disgaea 1 physical version. F*ck digital.
Where is the European download article from 4th October, it's already 5th everywhere?
@riChchestM I think so, from reading a million reviews and comments about both games, the verdict seems to be that the sequel didn't change that much. We've only played the first couple of levels in the first game, but so far it's been outrageous multiplayer fun. Even my wife (who is a chef) was having fun watching us play.
@Kolzig It's very weird, I think Nintendo didn't sent out their EU newsletter or something :/
Why no Europe report this week?
I believe we have no European report yet because it was Bank Holiday on Wednesday in Germany. Hopefully it should come out some point today.
It didn't look like anything interesting was added or any interesting offers anyway.
