@MrHonest I am not from Poland. I am British. I can speak a bit about Poland. It is a country under seige from big money looking to force Poland into the same homogenous globalist-liberalist model most the West has been brought under. Interestingly in Poland though, they dont have the level of tyranny and authoritarianism when it comes to mandates and coercion that other 'free' western nations have. There is still actual freedom in Poland to some degree.

@Pokester99 Saudi being singled out is not really 'racism' as such. It is more that Saudi is an acceptable target of criticism, but the reasons for this are more ideological than racial. You will notice western press, institutions and narratives almost never really criticise the Chinese government. they are afraid to do so. It is not because people are more racist against saudis or something like that. It is just like in the West these same narratives and set-ups never really criticise Communism and communist regimes despite the fact they are responsible for the most murder in human history. Also the same people never criticise American governments or intelligence agencies (i mean the deep power structures), despite the fact US intel agencies like the FBI and CIA are basically mafias with a massive sphere of influence. Same goes for Israel. So i dont see it as a question of racism - it is more built into the inherent globalist-liberal narrative structures (what is allowed to be said versus what isnt) that still dominate in many ways

@Pokester99 hold up - Saudis most senior rulership and no less than MBS himself actually ordered the murder of a journalist in absolutely brutal fashion. then basically stripped and refurnished the rooms he was murdered in whilst not allowing any investigators in to collect forensic evidence. @NWC Mercury Steam never got the 'feel' or metroid down imo. They feel like something different with the metroid IP pasted onto it.

@StarPoint Hollow Knight is incredibly well made as a metroidvania, but idk, i just dont rank it personally as a top tier mv. there is no way it is better than Super Metroid. I rate contemporary metroidvanias like Cathedral and Momodora as better for some reason

i mean, Navi is kinda iconic and i really cannot imagine the game without here. it would be like removing something essential.

@UglyCasanova i dont think scapers are going to be grabbing a 1k item to shift at 2k lol. the demand is relatively weak, and people are mostly broke and not gonna be dropping 2k on an item they can buy direct any way. Not everything that comes out has scalpers waiting to buy and resell.

@Stocksy mmmm, you might be over-exagerating this a bit. Paul is hardly a 'cult figure' i mean he makes his money from fighting - not from people 'throwing money' at him.

@Zuljaras There isn't really good reason for hating on him more than any other celebrity tbh. People are mostly mad that he has continued to silence the critics that laughed when he set out in the sport of boxing. He wasn't supposed to get this far - not even close. He needs some more major matches to show he can hold his own and isnt a faker, but he is actually a pretty good boxer considering he hasn't been training since the age of 12, or something like that. The GameBoy thing is a non-story really. Not a fan myself by any means, but he is just another mouthy fighter that happens to have beaten the odds.

ROckStar got lazy eh. I suppose after constant success and money spinners, it is easy to do. GTA V the best selling video game of all time (or close enough) racked in millions with port after port. I suppose this was initially a no brainer - just whack out a low effort 'definitive' edition and watch the zeros roll over like always. Got a bit blind-sided here though. Understandable enough, even if totally lazy. And Nintendo? Whatever happened to Ninty's 'Seal of Quality'. It is like the need to rake in cash and sales figures totally eclipses any regard Nintendo used to have for basic standard (at least with third party content)

I own this, but i couldn't get into it. It is one of those games where i think if i give it a few hours, i could really start to like it. Should maybe give it another go.

kinda feel sorry for people that think BotW is the greatest game ever of even a great Zelda game.

man, so much work goes into these games, and this looks great - but there is such a saturation that it feels they kinda get lost in the hoard. It is a kind of overkill through sheer availability and supply, and i personally find myself just skimming past these indie platformers.

Quite fitting that the setting is Australia given its recent descent into a dystopian technocratic police state.

@carlos82 i got a fair way into the game with about 35 or hours or so gameplay. finally the grind of the temples started to grate on me, and i dont think the game is that great. i really dont see it not becoming tedious after 50 hours. the temples became a bore, and the weapon breaking thing annoying as hell. idk, i enjoyed it for a while, honestly think OoT and Majoras are superior games by far.

Very nice. Actually hand drawn with physical media, which is refreshing given that everything nowadays is digitally drawn and something gets lost in the process.

BotW2 really needs a sea environ with full explorability. like a really vast sea

Of all 2D shooters, i am not sure R-TYPE is the best comparative. But looks neat, will get it.

How is it that i am educated to PhD level from one of the top 10 Universities in the world, with peer reviewed publications in top journals in my field, and i don't buy into any of these narratives that are saturated top to bottom with inconsistencies and outright brazen lies? I spend my life around heavily 'educated' people and you would be surprised how unintelligent they are (especially in the political/social field). Discrediting those who don't buy into MSM garbage narratives as 'uneducated' is a big mistake, given that actually, they are mostly in the right on these issues. Lest we forget the wisdom of the Great G.K.Chesterton when he astutely stated:

there are no words for how bad this is. The good thing about the video game industry is the extent to which it has not yet spiralled into total junk garbage like the music and film industries have. Pokemon company , or whoever is behind this mind numbing trash, doing a good job at brining things down though. It is like it is intentionally trying to moronize the audience. That will have some serious values. video game merchanidise and games (especially sealed games and Pokemon cards) have spiralled into insane prices. By way of paradox, this is actually a sign of an economy in serious trouble and inflation on the point of rupture. It is actually a good time to sell, and the long temr prospect of continued price growth is not guaranteed, especially if (when) fiat monetary systems collapse.
