people shouldnt take his comments seriously, its more like an act or game he plays where he 'plays the d**k' but isnt actually one. its just part of his persona. He is a bit eccentric and thats a good thing. Genuine artists were often ecentric, but there is such pressure against genuine eccentricity these days, that it makes people inclined toward eccentricity even more uptight and neurotic. Not everything has to be taken as a serious moral failing. He is just an eccentric who likes to play with his fanbase a bit.

dont blame them tbh, waiting for Nintendo to have the right timing on showing this bloody thing that is visually ready for ages is liek watching paint dry. Just do it. Someone else had to because nintendo wouldnt. There is being a tease and then there is being a bore. Nintendo just keeps dragging it

Alders Blood is a great game made wiht a lot of care. people should dismiss that title as junk or shovel ware or anything

theres so much in December anyway, that no big deal. Legacy of Kain drops in 4 days and theres nightdives remaster of Thing in a couple of days as well

@Burning_Spear idk man, if it is otherwise bug free and playing well (as i understand it is) then not having Touch is hardly making it an incomplete product. there were never part of the classic set up to begin with. if someone releases metal gear solid and it is a perfect port but without touch controls, is it then an 'incomplete product'?

i tried LiS 2 and to like these games you need to have a quite specific mindset, that likes a kind of cringey narrative based affair. a lot of that kind of contemporary drama kind of dialogue

man, we are so dry and starved and just all here waiting for Switch 2 that we have to drag out some 'drama' from a behind the scenes making of an advert for Switch 1.

Nintendo put us out of our misery and drop the Direct for Switch 2 already...

@Toastmaster well Nightdive are the gold standard for remasters. The Shadowman remaster is one of the greatest most caring remasters ever. its a damn shame Nightdive didnt get a hold of the LoK games for remaster. Aspyr are just a corporation going through the motions. Nightdive are something like artists of remastering

id give it a 7/10 personally. its actually a really fun game you get in to. not complete yet, but honestly better and more fun than expected

i like a tough game, and gave it a good shot, but the first game was just so hard lol.

@AfroMario i have about 300 hours in it, and at the end i would say it is of course a great game, but at the same time disappointing. I was raging at people first saying it is a DLC, but in truth, there is an element of it that does just feel like it is a large DLC. the weakest aspects though are the voice acting and elements of the story line. BotW just has so much of a more coherent and engaging plot line/narrative. I will be happy to see a new art direction and concept on the Switch 2

@sixrings the whole thing was a total scam anyway lol. i give credit to any business that tried to stay open and keep things running instead of succumbing to 'tank the economy and die'.

its kind of the end then. there is only so much a company who's whole rationale was the sale of physical games and hardware can 'adapt'. May as well become on online store only because thats how like 95% of people buy physical games anyway

@Takoda i just thought it was a bit too easy. Once you have the flurry rush thing down its an absolute walk in the park. I personally preferred the Ganon fight from BotW, and preferred Dark Beast Ganon over the dragon. But was still fun to be fair

Most of these things are always the same thing. you dont have to be especially prescient to guess (and you want to bet that the people who have been guessing this is about 'womens objectification' or something similar to that are right? ) it would be a risky wager. When i was young i was a hradcore socialist. But the the things the left used to stand for are mostly dead. It is a purely trite reactionary ideology now. They used to be against corporate power ans stuff like that, but i think this later gen of 'leftists' figured that actually, corporations are actually FINANCING almost all of our ideological structures so we are with the corrupt Govs and corpos. @LittleOtik4Smash i played it when it first appeared on the Quake downloads, and it crashed on me at the end of the first level twice. so i didnt get a chance to progress to next level. maybe it was fixed though

i only wish it was the FPS game i initially thought i was ging to be after the Quake mod thing (not that that worked anyway)

i tired playing some of these cloud games lol. You def need a very fast and secure/consitent internet connection. Something i dont have and totally unplayable

there is no geopolitical risk, this is pure propaganda. There is political pressure for ideological reasons and reasons to do with political manoeuvring and power games in this artificially created new cold war. Basically making Russian devs unemployed because they are evil Russians etc and need to be punished. Saying they are minimizing their risk like they need to do it for survival reasons is just a manipulation of language

@miwa i see your point, because there is an obligation to inform a potential costumer about how things stand, at the same time, a feel a review is supposed to review the actual game, and its quality as a game, and not supposed to be bogged down in a console specific problem vis-a-vis basically being not yet ready for consumer use. I personally would be happier with a statement in cases like this that said: 'not yet consumer ready so will not be reviewed'. I feel that informs the public strongly enough and sends a message to the dev.

I honestly feel entities like Nintendo Life shouldnt even give a review score to these obviously unfinsihed games. Just say game will not be reviewed until game is finished / in a finished state.

Knew Nightdive would come through on this despite the scare from a few days back. So good to see these forgotten titles brought back to life

day one purchase for me. Nightdive always deliver, even if a patch arrives first few days. they never hang around but always fix things up. Both Quake Remasters are excellently done.

i used to love MV's. i just cant play them any more. for some reason i am more burned out with that genre than any other

pretty petty stuff lol. imagine producing low effort shovelware (part of the sewage the floods the Switch e-shop on a weekly basis), and getting mad at people who call it for what it is. Are sales of trash shovelware really gonna be that influenced by a YT channel? anyone that needs to stay away from obvious trash prob isnt too smart to begin with tbh, not sure they would heed any extra warnings.

well, the little demo or whatever it is available as a Quake download in the Quake Remaster is basically bust, so kinda not surprised. I was really enjoying the Quake demo thing, but would continually crash the software after clearing first level
