@thesilverbrick I thought they had said this earlier and am disappointed it's not the case. 60fps on MK8 is beautiful and I don't enjoy it anywhere near as much with four players.

I enjoyed what I played of Darksiders 2 (about 15 hours), but it was so frustratingly buggy that I eventually uninstalled it. I'll probably grab this on Xbone to enjoy the framerate increase.

@RoomB31 Good question about the cards. If it were any other company I would say it's already written off, but Nintendo does sometimes come out of nowhere to support existing games (Captain Toad Amiibo, of example).

Got the Humble Bundle for $10. Already had some of the games on Wii U. Hopefully they're work better on PC! I'm looking at you, Racing Transformed...

@Sanicranfast even if the frame rate is locked at 30 on NX, it's unlikely there will be as many dips. Unless they cripple the game to satisfy Wii U owners.

@Honelith I love the pro controller. The sticks could be more responsive with smaller dead zones, but it's a perfect weight with great battery life. The layout is also really nice. But my favorite part is that it feels built for big hands. I get terrible cramps playing Xbox One that I never experienced with the Pro Controller.

@rjejr I have seen several indie games come to Xbox One much later than PS4 and Wii U, so it seems like M$'s release date policy has changed.

I am going to buy Sonic 2 tonight no matter where I have to get it. Perhaps finally let the kids into the Xbox ecosystem?

@NodesforNoids Looking at Project Cars, it probably should have become a PC exclusive. Too hard for PS4/One to handle, let alone Wii U.

@VanillaLake Agreed. I just got a fightstick for One/360/PC. Since I'd invested so much in it, I went ahead and grabbed a 360 as well. So many good fighting games and Sh'mups. Such a great eco system. Good games never go bad, but they do drop in price.

@SuperCharlie78 I have felt your pain. I am sorry. It can feel overwhelming to be invested in several unpopular platforms, namely Windows Phone and Wii U. Brings back flashbacks of PS2 stomping the Dreamcast. Anyway, happy gaming!

As a strong supporter of Wii U since launch with over 90 games for the console, let me just say that I'm so glad I purchased an Xbox One last March.

This game looks great, even on on 120" projector screen. Sure, the resolution is low, but it's so stylish and smooth that it doesn't matter.

EDIT: Yeah, it's obviously not HD, but these guys know how to get around that and make the game look fantastic. Cheers to Bamco!

This game was well advertised in the comic books of its time. Surprised it didn't do well.

Have had this on PC for years. Will probably pick up here for Off-TV.

Want to make money? Use your own characters. Once they get famous, make a game and publish it on Wii U. Bam.

I have pretty much all available Nintendo controllers since Gamecube. This may just be me, but the Pro Controller is the most comfortable gaming pad I own. That being said, glad to see this for those that can't get enough GC cont.

@AltDotNerd @ASonic3582 The TvC stick can emulate d-pad as well as left analog stick, so it should work fine.

I would prefer a check list of downloaded games. LOL.

@abbyhitter Agreed. I really enjoy Smash, but I have thought this since the 50 Things Smash Direct. After Events, Smash Run adds such a great Rouge like experience. Great for single player longevity, even better with online, friends or randoms.

"A sloppy release strategy and underperforming games have undermined it." Do you mean they Nintendo'd it? Yeah.... There are too many examples of this in the company's history. Great ideas with poor execution. I love my Nintendo games, but I try not to let them lead me on with the promise of potential.

I grabbed both Transformers and Korra on Xbox. I mean, $5 is a small price to pay for even a little bit of fan service. Although, I did waste $20 on that darn Adventure Time game by Way Forward...which became one of my few Wii U trade-ins.

I already purchased several games on sale. Thomas was Alone, The Swapper, Ori and the Blind Forest and Disney Infinity. And soon to come, Guitar Hero Live! Tempted by Transformers Devastation...

Huh. It's cool to see Super Mario Land represented as it was my first Mario game.

Yes. Interesting and exciting. I expect people will write it off as a gimmick, but it looks like an enhanced version of iPhone gaming, which is all the rage in the blue ocean.

@shani I will be the first to admit that the super sharp, blocky and pixelated look of 8-bit on LCDs is far from what programers intended, but I am still a fan of that look.

@shani They did not smooth out SNES, and they give an option to smooth GBA titles. Why not give an option on NES?

The Wii U NES VC is terrible. Blurry, dark and lags on the gamepad. Seriously, on the gamepad! They may have done this to compensate for laggy TVs, but I run things in gaming mode and the TV update is ahead of the gamepad. The SNES is perfect, so why so much trouble on NES?

Makes me feel a little upset....
