Finally, Zero Escape will be mine!!
Fates could easily benefit from this.....shows how lame NoA really are.
They need to learn more from NCL.
I don't expect massive discounts, but I've been eyeing a lot of these games for a while
I like to picture a frantic scene in NoA's web team. The section disappeared briefly, presumably to actually add the prices, and then reappeared still without the discount rates. Whoops!
I've asked our NA-based peeps for prices, but if any of you feel like sharing them stick'em in the comments.
UPDATE: Prices added on the official site, give me a few and I'll update the article...
Please bring this to europe. I neeeeed iiit
Might see what the price discount is for Ultra Smash. If it's a good deal I will be buying it.
If Mario Tennis Ultra Smash was aboit $20 or so I'd get it. Only game in the franchise I didn't get asap. No single player torunament mode along with other things I've hear is completely crazy.
Also, Codename Steam is 10 bucks on Gamestops site.
Still need to pick up Fates/Revelation, but $20 for DBZ seems fair and those two will take up my VG budget for April and May.
Would it be possible for NLife to add download sizes to the game pages? If not I totally understand, but I felt like throwing that out there.
@ThomasBW84 Castlestorm is actually half-off, $5 instead of $10. Mario Ultra Smash Tennis is $35 instead of $50. I stopped looking after that as nothing else interested me. When you click on each game you can see the price on it's individual page.
Same w/ the discounts on My Nintendo, which I'm not a fan of seeing that I need 90 or 140 gold coins for 30% off. Shouldn't that just be on the front page as well? Silly Nintendo.
And the Spring Sale ad is gone again. Did you break their website TW?
Various games on sale - with the new sale prices - can be seen here.
http://www.nintendo.com/games/game-guide#filter/-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|true|-|-|-|-|featured|des|-
And the Spring Sale ad is back up again, still w/o sale prices. OK, now I'm getting dizzy.
http://www.nintendo.com/games/sales-and-deals
@ThomasBW84 Zero Escape half off 11.99. Seems like the 30% only applies to Nintendo made only.
Sorry 52% off. That's a weird one for Zero Escape.
Seems like you guys always get seasonal sales... which is awesome. It's just a shame that NoE don't do the same!
A few I have had my eye on but not that big of sales. Might pick up 2 at the most.
Ok, prices are all in, if you can't see them refresh the page!
Thanks to all of you for helping, too.
Don't buy Code Steam on eshop, your getting rip off. Gamestop has it for $9.99 brand new.
Sigh... Still no Fire Emblem.
...I might consider Ducktales Remastered since it's that cheap.
@ThomasBW84 Ever thought of automating some of this? I noticed that Nintendo are pretty generous with their data http://www.nintendo.com/json/content/get/filter/game?limit=400&offset=0&&&&&&&&&&sale=true&&&&&sort=featured&direction=des&
@dreamgod247 Yeah, I was coming here to post that. GameStop is definitely trying to get rid of their stock of this game, it seems.
@madelk We streamline as much as possible, so I'm sure we can look into it
Still not interested in this sale. I already own the ones I want and have no interest in the others. Nintendo needs to put the entire eShop on sale if they're going to do this. They are missing out on sales from people who already own the games from list or have no interest in the games on their list. This way, we will at least buy something if the entire eShop is on sale.
@dreamgod247 Thanks for the heads-up. I've been wanting this game for a while. I wouldn't have downloaded it anyways though as Nintendo still has it too much. Amazon has had it priced around $17 for months....but $9.99 sounds sooooo much nicer!
I may finally download Ducktales. I also may pickup Puzzle & Dragons.
That's some neat discounts. Gonna check in a while.
Hmm, I might finally pick up Punch-Out for my 3DS!
Why are there Yoshis in the promo art but no Yoshi games on sale!?
This discount sale is meh, for me anyways. I was hopimg for a super smash bros discount on the dlc or the full game (my disc was damaged by the children
Are the basic prices on some games (Mario Kart 7 and Dragonball for example) way cheaper than the European ones or am I mistaken?
Have wanted Codename Steam for awhile - I picked it up new @ Meijer for $14.99. I also got Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition for $19.99 and Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon for $24.99.
Price is always the driving factor for me, and 99% of the time I can always get the games cheaper then what Nintendo is selling them for.
So Nintendo needs to do a hell of a lot better if they want me to buy digital.
$11.99 for VLR is practically highway robbery.
I might jump on the MK7 deal, considering I lost my physical copy.
Is this sale or similar coming to Europe?
Alright, I can no longer dodge Zero Escape. Time to see what everyone's been raving about. Fingers crossed
A good quantity of games on sale. Wish they'd do deeper discounts. Still, this is progress.
Is "Story of Seasons" good? I was hoping Rune Factory 4 would have been on the list.
@schizor To be fair, we did have Starfox 64 half price and all the Awakening DLC and FE games half price exclusive for us, so that's probably what we're getting instead of this.
On the plus side, both promotions end next week, so maybe a new one will show up after that.
I been waiting for Puzzle & Dragons Z/SMBE to drop/sales discount to <$20 since US launch (digital or physical). I guess this is the closest I can get to that expectation.
Wii u sale is a bit lacking in good titles
@Yorumi tekken is 40-55 on amazon, $13 here. so its a mixed bag!
@Yorumi yeah, if Star Dew Valley was on 3DS I would buy it in a flash. It seems like a perfect fit for on the go play.
@Yorumi thats why i prefer digital. Earthbound is $300 used on ebay. Chrono Trigger, USED, 20 years ago, adjusted for inflation hit $155 at FYE and kb toys. Picked up both of em for $4 on the eshop.
I'm planning to pick up Mario Tennis:Ultra Strike, Tekken Tag tournament and a couple virtual console titles....
Sticker Star shouldn't be more than $5...
@ThomasBW84 All the sale and normal prices, you were very productive while I was eating lunch.
Hope this comes to Europe, a few there is grab.
Nothing I don't have already or want. I was hoping for a discount on Fatal Frame.
Definitely recommend Gunman Clive and Art of Balance.
Guess I'm going to get Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward finally, just scared its going to let me down because the first one was so epic!
@Gen0neD Have you played 999 yet? Its epic! About to give this a shot myself.
Will probably just get Tekken.
In for Dream Team.
Got Galaga ans Dodge ball on my 3DS!
Why does it show yoshis? I was hoping to get wooly world at a discount but nooooo...also where is super Mario RPG for the north american virtual console? Where is sonic advance?
Why does it show yoshis? I was hoping to get wooly world at a discount but nooooo...also where is super Mario RPG for the north american virtual console? Where is sonic advance?
Disappointed. No Splatoon... My sister is a fence sitter. She would buy for $40
@Decapre Sticker Star shouldn't exist!
@OutCold No, my friend I haven't. But, with your epic endorsement ( and countless other's ) I'll give it a go.
$3.50 for Duck Hunt is kinda tempting, but $5 games don't get you any My Nintendo points. That's dumb.
@dreamgod247 Immediately went to GameStop and snatched this. Have been waiting for a good deal on this!
I was planning to get Ducktales physically as it's only $15, but for $6 is very tempting. Still not sure, I don't want to use my free space on a game that is available physically.
Will also get Konami Krazy Racers and Duck Hunt
Good prices, generally speaking. I was hoping for a Project Zero discount, though, since it doesn't seem I'll find a physical edition for cheap any time soon.
These sales are incredibly pathetic and disappointing. Some of these games have been out since release of 3ds and should have major discounts but noo, Nintendo thinks they're worth more than that. Some first party games should be no more than 10. This is why I switched over to Sony and Steam, they have better games and great sales.
if i want that steam game I'll go to GameStop and buy physical for $10 or so so NTY NoA 0/5 sale.
@Spoony_Tech i think i may have to buy it now too.
Nintendo should take a page or two from Steam... lolol
Are VC games still at par in Canada? If we get the same discounts I might buy a few.
Guess I can finally justify getting Duck Hunt.
Give Teslagrad a shot!
Btw, from what i understand gold coins are awarded based on the original price of the games, not the discounted price- so you get 20 coins even though the game is under $10.
What the hell? Another sale for America. Hello! We exist in Europe as well you know.
Good variety, but I already own all of the ones I want. Also, Super Dodge Ball, really? Who picks this stuff out?
Hoping to get these in Europe. Although I have noticed we're getting the Nintendo selects range which means I can buy Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze for £20 - wohoo!
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I know, it sucks!
Duck Tales Remastered has me wanting it especially for $4.99.
Didn't Europe get ALBW for a bargain price?
How about us in the UK. Don't we deserve a sale too??
Almost all of those discounts don't really interest me unfortunately. They aren't quite low enough to where I would bite.
I got Extreme Butoden out of it, though haven't played it yet. I guess it's time to think about Extreme Exorcism...
My thoughts:
1. Yep, I'm not interested in most of these.
2. Anybody recommend Dream Team vs another, cheaper M&L?
3. I'm gong to download Gunman Clive right now.
4. Dang it, I just got Kirby's Dream Land a week ago!
As I look at the list, all I can think is " I own too many video games".
@Clownshoes Yeah, I was a little sarcastic with that suggestion... :/ The longing ensues!
Probably Duck Tales.
Teslagrad any good?
Perhaps Gunman Clive and F-Zero? I am curious how that one compares to Maximum Velocity because I really like that one!
@Ichiyama
I personally thought Teslagrad was excellent assuming you enjoy a good metroidvania, well worth the money I spent, heck just talking about it makes me want to play it again!
Everybody should buy Teslagrad. Absolutely an amazing game.
I'm sorta tempted by Duck Tales at that low a price.
The choices for games on the eshop are always so bizarre.
That said, Konami Krazy Racers is one hell of an amazing game.. Makes me super excited thinking about it for the 3d Sega classics coming out for the 3ds soon. (getting it mostly for Power Drift). Can't wait!!! I'm tempted to download KKR for the WiiU, but I it seems fine playing it on the DS and the gameboy player on GC. Although I admit I actually like playing GBA games on the retron 5 because of the full screen (it's been a while since I play GBA games on the retron though.. I think they are full screen..)
It's times like this Nintendo needs to invest in some heavy third party support for the NX. While some of these sales are nice the lack of games for the Wii U has probably led to most owners owning most of the titles currently on sale.
Score for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, that game is awesome and I'm glad it had great exclusive contents on the Wii U plus all the DLC characters are all in the disc making it the complete version of all the ports.
I'm broke. Sorry.
I've been waiting for a price drop on Puzzles and Dragons, but I'm still not sure if $21 is worth it. Can anyone here recommend it to someone who loves puzzle games like Tetris, Dr. Mario and Huniepop?
@soma unless I'm mistaken, duck hunt retail features a download code inside an empty case.
Y'all need Virtue's Last Reward right now.
@Sir420 Duck Hunt retail version? If for some reason you meant DuckTAILS, it's a disk. But did you mean those Game Stop "retail" versions of virtual console games? They don't come with the box lol But otherwise I'm curious to know what you're talking about
@allav866 That's exactly what GameStop has reduced the physical version to recently, not sure if it appears online yet but I've gone to a few GS stores recently and they had it reduced everytime. No idea if the game is fun or not yet but the price is on par with at least one store.
Is Nintendo even aware of what other retailers are selling their games for? As others have mentioned, you can get Code Name STEAM new for $9.99 at GameStop. Plus, Mario Tennis Open is under $13 used, for instance. As a non-sale item, Crosswords Plus is $29.99 on the eShop, but $4.99 used at GameStop.
If they want to really push the eShop, they need to be a lot more competitive... kick out a discount on a game that isn't a year old!
@LexKitteh That's what I'm saying. Was hoping Yoshi's Woolly World would've been on sale.
@Sir420
You mean DuckTales? That would be great, hopefully is true. I'll ask a friend who has the game.
Thanks!
I really want puzzle and Dragons but im being really cheap and wont download it for 21.00 dollars when I can get it for 19.99 at gamestop on cart. I prefer the carts.
@freaksloan I paid $7.49 for Resident Evil: Revelations at Meijer, then 1 week later Nintendo had it for $4.99. Go figure.
Virtue's last reward, puzzles and dragons and smt 4 may be mine.
Ill be getting virtues last reward, ducktales, final fight, tekken and dk64!
