This is surprising considering that the Switch 2 is expected to be a tad less powerful than the Xbox Series S, which many developers have already criticized for being underpowered.
@Mommar how could they analyze the amount of input lag when the Switch 2 hasn’t even been released yet? If they compared Street Fighter 6 running in handheld mode on the Switch 2’s zero-lag screen versus an average mid-range TV (which often still adds a slight amount of input lag even in game mode) plus an Xbox Series X, then maybe that would be a possibility.
But for now, it’s hard to beat the extremely low input lag of official Xbox controllers based on Wi-Fi Direct technology compared to Nintendo’s typical Bluetooth gamepads.
I’d be happily surprised if Nintendo manages to outperform Microsoft in that area though.
They’re so obsessed with avoiding another Wii U fiasco that the system seems to be called “Nintendo 2,” with that excessively HUGE “2”… just to make sure parents don’t accidentally buy Switch 2 games for their kids who still have the regular Switch.
That giant “2” in the thick big red banner honestly ruins the physical box, in my opinion.
I just got the Xbox physical version brand new for 5 bucks and it’s pretty obvious why the game bombed when you play it compared to Monster Hunter.
I have a feeling that just like the Switch started as a Wii U games recycling machine, the Switch 2 will start as an Xbox Series X / ps5 rather old third party titles factory…

Re: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Developer Seems Open To A Switch 2 Port
The game runs fine on Xbox Series S so it should run properly on Switch 2.
I got the physical Xbox version. The game is nice but a bit overhyped imo. It’s a 8/10 for me.

Re: Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Announced For Switch 2
Best 3D Fighting game franchise ever imo.
I’ll go with the Xbox version unless the Switch 2 ends up beating it in terms of input lag.

Mario Kart’s new cover looks good though.

Hey! Look at my finger, Nintendon’t
Re: Final Fantasy VII 'Creator's Voice' Implies Rebirth May Also Come To Switch 2
Thx to Sony’s toxic policy, the Xbox version will obviously be locked endlessly so I guess this Switch 2 port is a good news…

Re: Too Saucy For Xbox, 'Steam-Heart’s Saturn Tribute' Lands On Switch This May
My Saturn is still plugged on my OLED so I don’t really need a port.
Sad (and weird) for Xbox though. Nintendo used to be more prone to censorship than Microsoft in the past.
