One Of The Switch's Most Underrated Gems Is Now Free For Switch Online Users

Nintendo has announced that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the latest title to receive a free trial for Switch Online subscribers.

Available in both North America and Europe, you can download the full game from the eShop at no extra cost, with availability lasting until 30th September 2026. Save data will also be stored, so if you decide you want to go ahead and purchase the game outright, you can carry on from where you left off.

Nintendo also states that the game itself will be heavily discounted during the trial period, cutting the price down by 70% until 8th October. However, at the time of writing, it doesn't look like the discount has been applied just yet – keep your eyes peeled.

Honestly, The Lost Crown is genuinely one of the most underrated games on the Switch. Though it was well-received at launch, not many people actually bought it, leading to Ubisoft completely disbanding the development team. This is your chance to see what you missed out on; it's genuinely brilliant.
